The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 793: Chapter 813: Just Want to Hold You Gently

Soft lips touched her palm, bringing a faintly damp breath.

Xia Xiaonuan’s body shuddered, and she quickly drew back her hand.

”What exactly do you want?!” a voice gritted through clenched teeth.

Dealing with this shameless man, she genuinely had no way out.

Violence and all, she’d used it before; hadn’t she already exploded his head? Now she kicked him fiercely again. But this man... it seemed endless.

Did he have no self-respect? Wouldn’t he get angry? No matter how much she bothered him, he would shamelessly draw near!

Xia Xiaonuan thought she could award him the Guinness record for the thickest skin!

Situ Yan turned on the bedside lamp and said to Xia Xiaonuan, ”I promise to let you go back tomorrow. I’ll give you a few days to clean things up with Nangong Yaoling.”

Xia Xiaonuan’s eyes lit up upon hearing this, sitting up and looking at him. ”Really? If you dare lie to me...”

”Rest assured. I’m a man of my word. But...” He paused, a fleeting smile crossing his eyes. ”I promise to let you go back, but you’ll have to do something in return, won’t you?”

Xia Xiaonuan’s face turned cold. ”Don’t even think about it!” She didn’t need to guess what he wanted.

Situ Yan said, ”Don’t worry, I promise not to touch you! Just let me lie in the same bed with you and quietly chat, that’s all.”

Xia Xiaonuan snorted coldly. ”Who would believe you!”

”I, Situ Yan, never break my word! Or else, I’ll take you straight to Australia tomorrow; I don’t just have friends like Gu La there!”

Xia Xiaonuan frowned.

But Situ Yan didn’t give her time to consider, turned around, walked to the bed, and lay down with a flip.

”You...!” Xia Xiaonuan shouted angrily. ”I haven’t agreed yet!” Saying this, she moved a bit towards the edge of the bed to maintain distance from him.

Situ Yan placed his hands behind his head, glancing at her coldly. ”I’m just lying here. If any bad guys show up, I can protect you. Don’t think you’re so alluring; I’m still sore from what you did to me. Even if you begged me to do something to you, I’m afraid I’d be... powerless.”

After saying that, Situ Yan closed his eyes.

Xia Xiaonuan: ”...”

”You... you’re shameless!”

”...”

Situ Yan ignored her, seemingly ready to sleep.

Xia Xiaonuan thought about it.

If he really wanted to touch her, he would have done it long ago, not waited until now.

Since he insisted on lying here, let him lie.

When she returned to Amelia, she’d tell Nangong Yaoling that she was pregnant. By then, Nangong Yaoling definitely wouldn’t let her go.

As for Situ Yan, no matter how powerful he was, he couldn’t overpower the Nangong Empire, right?

With this thought, Xia Xiaonuan moved a bit further and lay on her side to sleep.

Perhaps because someone was next to her, the distant sounds of explosions seemed less frightening. Xia Xiaonuan soon fell asleep.

In the darkness, Situ Yan slowly opened his eyes.

Listening to the steady breaths of the girl beside him, he gently turned over, extended his hand, and wrapped his arm around her body.

Greedily inhaling the familiar faint fragrance of the girl, he felt completely content.

Xiaonuan, I know you can’t fully accept me yet.

Maybe you’re a traditional girl who can’t accept having relations with me before officially divorcing Nangong Yaoling.
