The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 778: Chapter 789: Finding a Way to Get Rid of Situ Yan

Xia Xiaonuan’s eyes flashed with a trace of worry.

Nangong Feihong turned and looked at Situ Yan, who was roasting a chicken. He pulled Xia Xiaonuan up and said, ”Xiaonuan, let’s hurry and get out of here. That man doesn’t look like a good person. How about I knock him out later, and then we can go back together?”

Xia Xiaonuan’s mouth twitched nervously.

She looked at Nangong Feihong and said, ”Do you know where we are?”

”No idea?”

”Then do you know which way we need to go to get out of here?”

”No clue? But if we keep walking, we’ll eventually run into someone, right? Then we’ll figure out a way to leave this barren mountain and call the Crown Prince to come and get us.”

Xia Xiaonuan thought for a moment: ”In this situation, having one more person means we have one more person to look out for. How about... we wait until we get out of here, contact Nangong Yaoling, then ditch him? It’s not too late then!”

Xia Xiaonuan had decided. No matter what, she couldn’t leave with Situ Yan. Because she might already be carrying Nangong Yaoling’s child. What if Situ Yan found out and harmed the child in her belly?

Even if he didn’t harm her, how could she be with him while pregnant?

So she had no choice but to contact Nangong Yaoling and find a way to escape from Situ Yan.

”That works too!” Nangong Feihong said, ”Even though that guy is annoying, he’s quite capable! Let him catch wild chickens for us and cook, it’s fine.”

Xia Xiaonuan: ”...”

If Situ Yan heard this, who knows if he’d be furious...

After eating the roasted chicken, they started on their way.

A gentle breeze blew as the horses drank by the river. Situ Yan helped Xia Xiaonuan mount the horse, then prepared to jump on himself.

Seeing this, Nangong Feihong quickly stepped forward, frowned, and said, ”How can you ride a horse with Xiaonuan?”

”Because she can’t ride a horse, and we only have two,” Situ Yan explained expressionlessly.

Nangong Feihong rushed up and pulled Situ Yan away.

”You ride that horse. I’ll ride with Xiaonuan.” The horse sidestepped into the water, and Xia Xiaonuan, holding the reins, was splashed all over, her face turning black.

”...”

Situ Yan touched his nose and frowned, ”I don’t feel comfortable with you two riding one horse.”

”I’d feel even less comfortable with you two riding one!” Nangong Feihong shouted angrily, glaring coldly at him and immediately mounting Xia Xiaonuan’s horse.

Situ Yan: ”...”

Helplessly, he turned and mounted the other horse.

Looking up at the sun, he said, ”We need to head south now and find a way to take a boat to Karachi. Once there, we’ll figure out how to get to another place.” (Note: Karachi, the largest city in Pakistan)

”Karachi?” Nangong Feihong’s face changed upon hearing, ”How did we end up in Pakistan? Isn’t that place called the city of death? I heard the people there are very savage. What if we run into a riot?”

”We have no other choice now. Last night, I asked the people here. If we head towards the Indian border, it’s easy for border officers to catch us and treat us as unlawful people and directly eliminate us.

We don’t have any identification on us. So... when we get to Karachi, I’ll find a way to have friends there make us some fake IDs. Then we’ll think about how to get to another place.”
