The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 788: Chapter 808: Must Take the Opportunity to Get Rid of Him

Finally, after much difficulty, they found a place. Situ Yan registered at the front desk, and a middle-aged woman led Xia Xiaonuan and Nangong Feihong inside to view the room.

The two followed behind the woman, and Nangong Feihong whispered to Xia Xiaonuan at her ear, ”Xiaonuan, now is a good opportunity. We definitely need to take this chance to get rid of him.”

Xia Xiaonuan felt uneasy, ”Feihong, let’s wait until today passes... I’m scared...”

”Xiaonuan, with me here, rest assured, nothing will happen! There cannot possibly be only one road leading to the airport, right? I’ll call the Crown Prince later and tell him our situation. Once we reach Amelia, let him come to pick us up.”

Xia Xiaonuan clasped her hands together and nodded slightly, ”Alright...”

The middle-aged woman opened a room for Xia Xiaonuan and Nangong Feihong to view, enthusiastically introducing it in a language they couldn’t understand.

The room was not large and very simple.

But there was a window in the room, making Xia Xiaonuan’s eyes light up.

Nangong Feihong glanced at Xia Xiaonuan, then waved to the woman.

As soon as they entered, Nangong Feihong locked the door. Then he took Xia Xiaonuan to the window.

”We escape through the back window.”

Xia Xiaonuan nodded uneasily.

Nangong Feihong jumped out of the window. Xia Xiaonuan, worried about her belly, took a chair and carefully climbed onto the window sill. Nangong Feihong lifted her and helped her out of the window.

Then he pulled her and started running outside.

Behind them was a small alley.

They hailed a taxi, and Nangong Feihong told the driver in English to go to the airport.

The driver’s face changed, and he quickly told them there was a riot ahead and they shouldn’t go there.

”Is there no other way?” Xia Xiaonuan asked.

”Other paths are also unsafe.”

The driver refused to take them, and Nangong Feihong and Xia Xiaonuan had to get out of the car.

After a while, they hailed another car. As soon as the driver heard they were heading to the airport, he quickly waved them off and left.

A red sedan stopped and asked them where they wanted to go.

Nangong Feihong quickly told him they wanted to go to the airport.

The driver invited them to get in.

Xia Xiaonuan uneasily said, ”Feihong, is this a black cab? Is it okay?”

Nangong Feihong replied, ”It should be fine, right? Aren’t people here supposed to be friendly to us?”

Xia Xiaonuan looked at the driver, who didn’t seem like a bad person, and nodded reluctantly.

The car drove forward.

After a while, Xia Xiaonuan sensed something wasn’t right outside.

”Driver, where is this?” Outside was a wilderness that didn’t look like the direction to the airport.

The driver said, ”This is a small road; the main road is blocked.”

Nangong Feihong deliberately said fiercely, ”Don’t lie to us, or we won’t be nice!”

At that moment, the driver suddenly swerved the car and stopped by the roadside.

The dark-skinned driver somehow drew out a knife and fiercely pointed it at Nangong Feihong and Xia Xiaonuan, saying, ”Hand over the money, or I won’t be nice!”

Nangong Feihong quickly shielded Xia Xiaonuan behind him, ”What are you doing? Robbing in broad daylight?”

”Hurry up!”

Xia Xiaonuan turned to try to open the car door, only to find it locked.

The man brandished a bright, sharp knife, and Xia Xiaonuan broke out in a cold sweat. She quickly said, ”Feihong, quickly give him the money!”

Nangong Feihong couldn’t stand such humiliation, ”No way, if we give it to him, how will we buy tickets to go back home?”
