The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 775: Chapter 786: Could She Be Pregnant?

Xia Xiaonuan was taken aback by his statement, momentarily stunned.

The always arrogant and conceited Situ Yan was actually apologizing!

”What good is hating you? I just hope we can leave this place quickly!” Xia Xiaonuan said helplessly. After speaking, she suddenly felt a wave of nausea in her stomach.

She struggled to get up from the grass and ran to the side to dry heave.

Situ Yan sat up and asked, ”What’s wrong with you?”

Xia Xiaonuan shook her head, ”It’s nothing...”

After speaking, she thought of something and her eyebrows furrowed slightly.

What’s been happening to her these past few days?

Upon reflection, she realized that her period seemed to have been absent for over a month!

Could it be... she was pregnant?

The thought jolted Xia Xiaonuan’s entire being.

Situ Yan stepped forward and handed her some water.

After drinking the water, her stomach felt much better.

She lay back down on the grass, her mind suddenly filled with thoughts of Nangong Yaoling.

What if she was really carrying Nangong Yaoling’s child?

She had promised Situ Yan to stay with him for half a year. If Situ Yan knew she was pregnant, would he harm her child?

Xia Xiaonuan reached out and placed her hand on her lower abdomen.

Panic surged through her heart.

...

Nangong Yaoling’s helicopter had been searching the skies for hours to no avail.

They had to return as the fuel ran out.

”Young Master... Please don’t worry, the madam will surely be fine,” the bodyguard said to Nangong Yaoling, looking concerned.

Nangong Yaoling sat on the sofa, a palpable sense of gloom emanating from him.

”Find out who caused trouble at the banquet last night!”

”Yes, Young Master!”

Nangong Yaoling closed his eyes, and at that moment, the doorbell rang. The butler said, ”Young Master, Mr. Liang is here!”

”He said he knows who kidnapped the madam.” The butler added.

Nangong Yaoling shot up from the sofa.

A murderous glint flickered in his eyes.

”Let him in!”

As soon as Liang Shaochen entered, he rushed to Nangong Yaoling and asked, ”Xiaonuan, have you found her? Still no news?”

Nangong Yaoling shook his head, looking at Liang Shaochen, ”What did you just say? You know who kidnapped Xiaonuan?”

Liang Shaochen staggered back a step, said desolately, ”Last night I saw her with a man; I should have kept a closer watch on her!”

”Who was that man!”

”I had someone look into it today, but he has excellent privacy protection. So far, I only know his name is Situ Yan, not a Chinese national. Recently, he acquired a Luo Family company and invested in a cosmetic venture for the Xia Group...”

”The Luo Family?” Nangong Yaoling’s expression changed slightly.

Could it be him...

”So, he has connections with the Xia Family as well?”

”Yes! He seems to be quite familiar with Xia Zhennan. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have invested in the Xia Family’s venture.”

Nangong Yaoling’s hand slowly clenched into a fist.

He turned and coldly instructed the butler, ”Prepare the car, we’re going to find Xia Zhennan!”

”Yes, Young Master—!”

”I’m coming with you!” Liang Shaochen stepped forward.

Nangong Yaoling suddenly turned and grabbed Liang Shaochen by the collar.

”Liang Shaochen, I haven’t settled the scores with you and Zhong Li yet! Now, what right do you have to meddle in Xiaonuan’s affairs?”

”I...” Liang Shaochen said helplessly, ”I’m very sorry about Zhong Li. But Xiaonuan is my friend, I have the right to be concerned about her!”

”My wife doesn’t need your concern!” Nangong Yaoling raised his fist, almost about to smash it into Liang Shaochen’s face.

”Young Master, please calm down! Now is not the time for anger!”
