The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 774: Chapter 785: Leave Here Quickly

Prince Mutaha was extremely displeased. He jumped out of bed and looked at Xia Xiaonuan with disgust, shouting outward.

Immediately, someone rushed in.

The two attendants were startled by the mess in front of them.

”Clean this place up!” said Mutaha, turning around and angrily leaving.

The two cleaned up and then left, confining Xia Xiaonuan to the room.

Xia Xiaonuan usually couldn’t stand this smell, so she was a bit uncomfortable.

Lying on the bed, she began to doze off.

She didn’t know how long had passed before she heard the sound of fighting outside the door, then the door was pushed open.

Situ Yan walked in and looked at Xia Xiaonuan lying on the bed.

”Xiaonuan... are you alright?” Xia Xiaonuan opened her eyes and looked at Situ Yan: ”Why did it take you so long to get here?”

”The guards outside were strict, but it’s settled now! Hurry, come with me!”

Xia Xiaonuan woke up, quickly turned over, and Situ Yan found a pair of small cloth shoes for her to put on. Then he rummaged through the cabinet, took out some jewels and silver notes, stuffed them into his clothes, and led her out of the door.

The two guards at the door had already been knocked unconscious. Xia Xiaonuan stepped over their bodies and followed Situ Yan out.

The people eating in the dining hall had all been drugged into unconsciousness.

Some on duty tried to intervene, but Situ Yan swiftly dealt with them, taking each one down with one move.

Then he led her to the stables, where they took two horses. He and Xia Xiaonuan rode one, and the other followed beside them.

”We don’t know how long it will take to escape the island, so it’s best to be prepared.” Situ Yan patted the horse’s rear: ”Hya!” With that, the horse began to run.

Xia Xiaonuan huddled in Situ Yan’s arms, galloping into the night under the moonlight.

All she could hear was the sound of hooves and his breathing. His hot breath on the back of her ear sent tingles through her.

She felt as if she were dreaming.

Situ Yan asked, ”He didn’t do anything to you, did he?”

Xia Xiaonuan replied, ”No! If they dared harm me, I would have killed them all!”

Situ Yan suddenly lowered his head and laughed: ”You look pretty good in these clothes!”

Xia Xiaonuan blushed under his gaze: ”These clothes are uncomfortable!”

”Hmm... it’s most comfortable when you’re not wearing anything!” Situ Yan said, his voice hoarse and mischievous. He lowered his head and kissed her behind the ear.

Xia Xiaonuan struggled furiously: ”If you keep this up, I’ll jump off the horse!”

Situ Yan hurriedly tightened his hold on her and said urgently: ”Alright, alright... I won’t mess around next time!”

Xia Xiaonuan sighed and scooted forward, trying to put some distance between them.

Situ Yan also moved forward and held her even tighter.

This man was so shameless, taking advantage of the situation!

If it weren’t for trying to escape, Xia Xiaonuan would have loved to knock some sense into him.

After running for a few hours and making sure they weren’t being pursued, Situ Yan found a cave where the two of them decided to spend the night.

Beside them, Situ Yan picked up some firewood and roasted a wild bird for Xia Xiaonuan to eat.

After dinner, the two of them lay on the grass, gazing at the stars in the sky.

Xia Xiaonuan said, ”I feel like I’m dreaming.”

Situ Yan fell into silence.

”Hey...” Xia Xiaonuan elbowed him: ”What’s wrong with you?”

”Nothing...” Situ Yan said faintly. In his mind, he pictured Nangong Feihong’s helicopter.

He wondered... how was Feihong?

Would he be alright?

”It’s all my fault...” Situ Yan suddenly said: ”Xiaonuan, you must hate me to death!”
