The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

Chapter 342: Chapter 342: Song Yulang Jumped into the Lake!

Bao Datong dragged the cursing Song Zhiyu away.

Liu Ning, furious, kicked a wine cup flying and said angrily, ”Look at him, still complaining, shameless! If you can’t play, don’t play, and yet you still complain. Does he think he’s a three-year-old child? Why doesn’t he shout for milk instead.”

”Forget it, let’s assume he’s in a bad mood, and let it go.” No one dared to speak recklessly anymore.

Liu Ning let out a sarcastic snort, ”The marriage isn’t even settled yet, and he’s already protecting like this. He calls that a bad mood? I think he’s quite willing. I knew it, that kid has heavy tastes, likes to be dominated... Mmmph.”

Everyone covered his mouth tightly, feeling like they wanted to die, you may not be afraid of death, but we are, we have wives and kids at home. If Song Laosi really complained against us, we’d all be finished.

That Song Laosi, when he gets forceful, doesn’t listen to reason.

On the other side, Bao Datong was also dragging Song Zhiyu, trying to persuade him, wondering how he got into a fight with Liu Lao Wu and the others just after leaving for a moment.

Song Zhiyu shook off his hand, went straight up to Bixing Pavilion, and said with a snort, ”You don’t know how unpleasant their words were, not a bit respectful to women. What do they take Commandery Princess Dongyang for, to be talked about like that?”

Bao Datong raised an eyebrow teasingly, ”Listen to your tone, you’re not opposed to this engagement, are you?”

Otherwise, why protect like this?

Song Zhiyu was momentarily stunned, then dejectedly said, ”Will opposing work? No, it’s an imperial decree. My elder brother said, unless I die, this engagement can’t be canceled.”

”Poor you!” Bao Datong looked sympathetic.

Song Zhiyu curled his lip, ”It’s not about suffering or not, the Commandery Princess isn’t that bad, not ugly, just not my type, you know.”

”I know, you’re just shallow, liking those with fair skin, beautiful features, and slender waists.” And she is the complete opposite.

Song Zhiyu spat out, ”Get lost!”

Bao Datong chuckled, ”Who knows, maybe you’ll change and start liking her type in the future.”

Song Zhiyu sighed, ”I just don’t feel great, she didn’t do anything wrong, so why should she be talked about like this?”

Listening to Liu Ning and the others’ wanton mocking, he felt as if his heart had been pierced, extremely displeased.

He attributed it to the fact that Niu Pan’er was one of his own.

One of his own, naturally, he had to stand up for.

”Forget it, I’ll sober up here, you go find some tea, I’m parched,” Song Zhiyu said, ”Also, bring Si Xi here.”

He couldn’t drink anymore.

”Sure thing.”

Once Bao Datong left, Song Zhiyu was left in a daze, feeling something sticky on his hand, and only realized after a look that he had gotten some food sauce on it while hitting Liu Ning. He clicked his tongue in disgust.

He patted himself down, found no handkerchief, and looked down at the lake beneath the pavilion; Bixing Lake’s water was clear to the bottom.

He simply stood up, leaned over, balancing on tiptoes, planning to scoop some water for washing.

Damn, why build the pavilion so high? Huh, something under the lake is shimmering, almost blinding, he was just about to take a clearer look.

Suddenly, a shriek exploded from behind him.

”Oh no, someone come quick, Song Yulang has jumped into the lake!”

The voice was sharp and loud, like bursting in his eardrum.

Song Zhiyu, unprepared, was jolted, lost his balance on his tiptoes, and fell straight down.

Oh no!

With a splash!

Song Zhiyu fell into the lake, completely submerged in the water, with the voice from behind echoing in his mind — Song Yulang has jumped into the lake!

Jumped! Into! The lake!

Oh crap!

Now that’s a big misunderstanding!
