The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

Chapter 328: Chapter 328: The Imperial Decree Arrives, Yulang’s Mindset Collapses

When the imperial decree arrived at the Song Family, Song Zhiyu was still sleeping on the pleasure boat, groggily carried by the guard back to the mansion, changed into a fresh set of clothes, and rushed to the front courtyard.

Song Zhiyuan gave him a fierce glare, pressing him down to kneel properly.

The one delivering the decree was Eunuch Zhou, who had already drank several cups of tea before the main character showed up. He knew the person was fished out of the pleasure boat, hmm, this is something the Emperor would be delighted to hear.

”Since everyone is present, I shall read the decree,” Eunuch Zhou put down the teacup, cleared his throat, and took the bright yellow imperial decree from the tray held by the little eunuch.

Decree, what decree?

The hungover Song Zhiyu slightly raised his head, a bit confused, until the old eunuch read out the decree, and his mind buzzed, exploding.

Wha, what?

An imperial decree for marriage, and the protagonist isn’t someone else, but himself?

And the person he’s decreed to marry, who was it again, Commandery Princess Dongyang, Dongyang...

The she-devil, that fiend!

Song Zhiyu instantly sobered up, his eyes wide in shock staring at the decree in Eunuch Zhou’s hands.

He actually was still drunk, dreaming, right? How could it be, how could the Emperor match him and Commandery Princess Dongyang in marriage?

The two are worlds apart, completely different minds, how could they be tied by a red string?

Fake, this is fake.

Song Zhiyu closed his eyes and muttered, he was having a nightmare!

”Young Master Song Si, are you going to accept the decree?” Eunuch Zhou cheerfully closed the decree and handed it to Song Zhiyu.

Song Zhiyu was still muttering when his head was suddenly slapped by a big hand, and he cried out in pain.

”What are you dazed for, hurry and accept the decree.” Song Zhiyuan glared at him.

Song Zhiyu rubbed his head and let out an ’ah’, realizing it hurts, he was not dreaming, it was real.

Oh my god, my sky has fallen!

”Hurry up.” Song Zhiyuan barked, ”Take the decree.”

Song Zhiyu stiffly received the decree, opened it with a swish, and read it several times, then plopped down on the ground.

His mindset collapsed, the whole person was dumbfounded!

Eunuch Zhou saw this and laughed, saying to Song Zhiyuan, ”Prime Minister, I still have to deliver the decree to Prince Dingbei’s Mansion, I won’t stay any longer.”

”Thank you for making this trip.” Song Zhiyuan gave a faint smile and glanced at Jiang Fula.

Jiang Fula stuffed a wallet into Eunuch Zhou’s hand, saying, ”Eunuch Zhou, share the joy and buy some drinks with the little eunuchs.”

”Alright, alright.”

Eunuch Zhou didn’t decline, tucked the wallet into his sleeve pocket, and then left with his people.

Song Zhiyuan watched the steward see them off, then looked at his youngest brother in a soulless state, and said, ”Get up, let’s go talk in mother’s room.”

Song Zhiyu raised the decree and looked at him, ”Big brother, what is this? Is this true?”

”The decree is solidly in your hands, how could it be fake? Hurry up, I have things to say to you.” Song Zhiyuan kicked him.

Song Zhiyu scrambled up from the ground, tossed the decree into his brother’s arms, and was about to dash out.

”Where are you going? Stop him!”

The guard immediately caught Song Zhiyu around the waist.

Song Zhiyu struggled fiercely, ”Let me go, let me go, I need to settle accounts with that brat Liu Ning, I need to ask him which monastery he got his big mouth blessed at, damn it, everything he says comes true!”

Ah, marry a she-devil and get pressed every night, Liu Ning, I’m not done with you!

Song Zhiyuan: ”...”

At Marquis Anqing Mansion, Fifth Young Master Liu Ning sneezed twice, rubbed his nose, and muttered softly, that rascal Song Yulang must be cursing me.
