Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Beitang Yao’s heart warmed. He gazed deeply into her clear eyes, in which a faint trace of sorrow seemed to ripple, pondered for a while, then slightly lifted the hand with the IV needle. Using both hands to cradle her head, he leaned in and pressed his lips to hers, kissing those soft lips in a way that was domineering yet gentle.

This long-missed feeling made him unable to help wanting more and more! He cupped her face, the tip of his tongue slipping into her rosy mouth, prying open her pearly teeth, teasing her little tongue, greedily drinking from her again and again!

Xia Qingqian was so frightened she didn’t dare move. His hand still had the drip attached. She frowned slightly, stunned as she lay against him, letting him kiss her as he pleased.

She saw Beitang Yao’s brows knit tightly, so she carefully pushed him away and asked, ”Did it pull on the needle site a lot?”

”Don’t move!” Beitang Yao exerted a bit of force with his hand, making their bodies press even closer together.

He locked his gaze on her. The taste from just now still lingered on his lips; clearly, he was far from satisfied. The way he stared made Xia Qingqian’s face go stiff—she had no idea what expression she was supposed to make to respond to him.

The corner of her mouth twitched, and she broke eye contact, lowering her voice as she said, ”Yao... Young Master Yao, be careful with your hand...”

Beitang Yao glanced at the hand with the needle. His brows didn’t even twitch as he brought it up in front of his eyes and yanked the needle out in one go.

Xia Qingqian had just lifted her hand to stop him, but Beitang Yao was a step faster—he had already pulled the needle out!

”Yao!” Xia Qingqian cried out in fright, hastily grabbing a cotton ball, dipping it in iodine, and gently pressing it against the tiny puncture on his skin. ”How can you be so reckless!”

Seeing her worry about him, the corners of his mouth lifted slightly. He let her tend to the puncture site, and once she was done, he tugged her toward him and pulled her tightly into his arms.

But Xia Qingqian was half-sitting on the bed; being held by him like this was a bit uncomfortable, yet she didn’t dare say so.

”You’re even laughing!” Xia Qingqian lifted her gaze, shooting him a reproachful look, puffing up with anger as she said, ”When you’re sick, you have to listen to the doctor. You can’t mess around!”

”I want to be discharged and have you take care of me.” Beitang Yao was unconcerned, his smile widening.

”What?” Xia Qingqian stared at him in disbelief.

”Didn’t you come here to take care of me? Since you’re here, you have to take responsibility.” He lowered his eyes, looking at her as he spoke in a low voice.

She stared at him blankly, frowning as she said, ”I can take care of you, but you have to listen to me...” She didn’t know if he would actually nod and agree.

Beitang Yao’s body stilled. After a moment, he nodded and said, ”Okay.”

He extended his long fingers, hooking her chin up, his eyes filled with an ambiguous invitation. ”I still want more.”

”Want what?” Xia Qingqian pretended not to understand what he meant, but she was already shifting her body, trying to dodge what he was going to do next.

Yet with his overwhelming strength, how could he possibly give her the chance to escape? He simply pressed his hand down, lifting her entire body onto the bed, making her lie fully on top of him, his forehead touching hers, nose to nose, eyes locked on eyes.

He could clearly feel her rapid breathing. He tipped his head back slightly, then caught her soft lips between his teeth, taking them into his mouth, gently rolling and tasting them. Halfway through the kiss, Xia Qingqian’s hands slid around his lean waist, returning his kiss fervently.

Beitang Yao didn’t have much luggage, just a few changes of clothes and some daily necessities. Xia Qingqian had an easy time packing. By the time she finished, Beitang Yao had also changed his clothes and come out of the bathroom.
