Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

When he comes back, he must make it up to this woman who nags him day and night by his ear!

Before he turned off his phone, there was a voice message. He glanced at the contact, and it was from Xia Qingqian, so he opened it.

Onscreen appeared Xia Qingqian’s graceful and beautiful face. He smiled lightly while listening to her words: ”Yao, during this week, you must remember to eat and sleep well! I know you’re very busy with work and I’m afraid to call you. Could I ask you to give me a call or a text message every day? Oh... I forgot, you never use text messages... I just want to know how you’re doing over there. Please take good care of yourself! I will also take good care of myself!”

Beitang Yao chuckled, looked down, and saw everyone had already left, except for her standing there, looking up at the plane taking off...

He looked closely and saw a few sparkling tears sliding down her cheeks! Instantly, it pierced his heart with pain!

The plane in front of her grew smaller and smaller, and Xia Qingqian’s heart inexplicably trembled. She kept running forward, hoping to catch another glimpse!

Until the plane turned into a dot, her heart felt like it had been hollowed out, and tears kept falling!

At this moment, a pair of warm big hands touched her shoulders. She instinctively shifted a little! Raising her hand to wipe away the tears on her face, she finally turned around, looking at the man standing in front of her, sniffing, she said: ”Young Master Che, why are you still here?”

”Grandfather asked me to stay and take you back,” Beitang Che said, feeling a bit saddened, looking at the girl so guarded in front of him. ”Qing Qian, let’s go, Yao will be back in a week.”

Xia Qingqian still reluctantly gazed in the direction where the plane had vanished, hesitating for a long while, before finally getting into Beitang Che’s car.

Inside the car, a moment of silence.

Xia Qingqian turned her head to look outside the window, her heart felt empty. She had already gotten used to his presence, and now suddenly parting for a week, she felt a bit reluctant, more so her heart being filled with loneliness!

”Qing Qian, Grandpa said he wants to have some desserts. I think you know more about this than anyone else. Can I invite you to make some desserts for Grandpa together?” Beitang Che gently asked, looking at the girl in the rearview mirror with a sorrowful face.

Xia Qingqian took a moment to come back to her senses, apologizing: ”Sorry, what did you just say?”

”Were you thinking about Yao?” Beitang Che asked, suddenly smiling, with a hint of envy in his voice, ”Yao is really fortunate to have met such a wonderful girl like you!”

”Young Master Che, what did you just say again? Is there something that needs my help?” she responded with a smile.

”Haha...” Beitang Che chuckled softly twice, then said: ”Do you have anything to do later? If not, could I invite you to help me make some desserts for Grandpa?”

Xia Qingqian originally wanted to refuse but when she heard it was for Grandpa, she nodded in agreement. She wanted to do something for Yao, and if it could resolve the stiff relations between him and others, she would do anything.

”What can I help you with?” Xia Qingqian followed Beitang Che into a spacious and neat kitchen, trailing behind Beitang Che.

She didn’t know what flavor Grandpa liked, let alone in the presence of a world-class pastry chef, she didn’t want to show off her skills clumsily.

”You can just help me out, can you?” he softly sought her opinion while taking out all the ingredients he would need. ”Qing Qian, could you please get me a bottle of cream from the refrigerator, it’s in the second compartment on the top shelf.”
