Capítulo 1249: Chapter 1242: Not Qualified to Teach Me (Second Update)

A true expert?!

Lin Tian rolled his eyes, feeling utterly speechless inside.

Not even a Martial Arts Grandmaster, yet wants to teach him martial arts?

Sounds a bit ironic!

However.

His uncle Lin Fengye didn’t know his situation, and Lin Tian could understand that.

But since Lin Fengye had said so much, it was hard for him to refuse.

“Uncle, you invited that expert for dinner, right? Then let’s go for a meal!”

Lin Tian spread his hands with a bitter smile and said, “As for whether to teach me or not, we’ll decide when we get there!”

“That’s right! Once we’re there, remember to be polite; after all, he is a Martial Arts Master!”

Lin Fengye nodded repeatedly and reminded Lin Tian for a while.

Not long after.

The Land Rover brought Lin Tian back into University City.

Finally, Lin Fengye and Lin Tian arrived in front of a building called the “Yibao Martial Arts Hall.”

“This is Master Long Bao’s martial arts hall! The first floor is a lobby, which is the changing room for martial arts hall members! The second floor is the martial arts practice area! And the third floor is the restaurant opened by Master Long Bao himself!”

As Lin Fengye led Lin Tian into the martial arts hall, he introduced, “I’ve arranged with Master Long Bao yesterday to dine at his restaurant and to discuss taking you as a disciple! Follow me…”

It was clear that Lin Fengye was quite familiar with the Yibao Martial Arts Hall.

He had likely been here many times.

He mentioned learning martial arts from Long Bao before, which seemed to be true!

Lin Tian followed behind him, glancing around curiously.

Meanwhile, on entering the first floor, he could faintly hear shouts from the martial arts practice area on the second floor.

It should be the martial arts hall students practicing martial arts.

“Uncle, to what level did you practice martial arts with Long Bao?”

Lin Tian asked Lin Fengye casually.

“Ahem…”

Lin Fengye showed an awkward expression and shook his head, “Uncle’s talent isn’t great; I only learned some moves from Master Long Bao, but couldn’t cultivate real inner strength!”

Hearing the words ‘inner strength,’ Lin Tian couldn’t help but shake his head slightly.

It was clear that Lin Fengye only knew a little about true martial arts.

With this, it seems Master Long Bao is not that impressive either.

“What do you and Aunt do for a living?”

Following Lin Fengye into the elevator to the third floor, Lin Tian asked casually again.

“Your aunt manages the family’s herbal business. She graduated from Huaxia Chinese Medical University and is quite proficient in the field. So grandpa entrusted her with the family’s herbal industry!”

Lin Fengye pressed the elevator button and smiled at Lin Tian, “As for me, I just hang out at the family’s shipping company! Normally, I help with some business connections and talk with partners. As for management, I don’t get involved! I’m used to running around freely!”

Aunt is in the herbal business?

She also studied Traditional Chinese Medicine!

Lin Tian was somewhat surprised, and now he understood how his aunt became familiar with Gao Xinhuan.

As they chatted, they quickly reached the third floor.

There was a huge restaurant, with many private rooms on the side.

At the innermost area was a private room, with a tall and burly big man standing at the door.

Lin Tian noticed that the big man’s hands were full of calluses.

This was something that occurred only in martial artists; the man’s skill must be extraordinary!

“Mr. Lin, you’re here!”

Seeing Lin Fengye appear, the big man quickly stepped up, respectfully made an inviting gesture, and said, “Master Long is waiting for you inside!”

The big man was Wang Jing, Long Bao’s trusted assistant and a coach at the Yibao Martial Arts Hall.

As Lin Fengye had practiced martial arts here before, he naturally knew him and also knew the young man in front of him was the Lin Family’s Young Master, with a terrifying background, so he didn’t dare show any negligence.

“Coach Wang, are you here waiting specifically for me? No need to bother!”

Lin Fengye politely cupped his fists at Wang Jing and said with a smile, “Coach Wang, you go ahead and do your work, I can head over myself!”

Wang Jing didn’t insist and let Lin Fengye and Lin Tian head into the room on their own.

Arriving at the private room door, Lin Fengye knocked, and a deep and strong voice came from inside, “Come in!”

Lin Fengye signaled to Lin Tian with a glance, then pushed open the door and entered.

“Hahaha… Finally, Fengye kid, you are here!”

As soon as they entered, loud laughter came from inside the private room.

Lin Tian looked up in response to the voice and saw the room was luxuriously furnished, with a table laid with sumptuous dishes.

Across the dining table, stood a man in his late fifties, wearing a white martial arts uniform. He stood up with a laugh and cupped his fists at Lin Fengye from afar.

The man was tall, his aura was solid and deep, his every move full of formidable presence.

“This must be the Martial Arts Master Long Bao that Uncle mentioned! A Martial Artist with Xuan-level Peak cultivation, just barely okay!”

Lin Tian quickly assessed Long Bao with a glance, pondering inwardly.

“Master Long, I’m sorry for being late!”

Lin Fengye hurriedly apologized to Long Bao, pulling Lin Tian over, pointing at him, and said, “Lin Tian, this is Master Long Bao, the owner of the Yibao Martial Arts Hall! Quickly say hello!”

Upon hearing this.

Lin Tian slightly frowned.

But seeing his uncle Lin Fengye winking constantly, Lin Tian had no choice but to nod slightly at Long Bao and say, “Hello!”

Lin Tian’s reaction made Lin Fengye’s face stiffen a little.

He never imagined that Lin Tian would be so indifferent towards such a reputable Martial Arts Master facing him.

Opposite.

Long Bao also appeared slightly surprised, furrowing his brows.

“Master Long, I apologize! This is my nephew Lin Tian, and he has been like this since he was a child!”

Lin Fengye quickly apologized to Long Bao.

Although the Lin Family was mighty and didn’t lack Martial Arts Grandmasters.

But those were only family tributes, and he couldn’t command them at will.

Outside.

Facing a Martial Arts Master, if one could establish a good relationship, they must not offend!

This respect from Long Bao was also due to the powerful reputation of the Lin Family!

Therefore, Lin Fengye wisely refrained from acting arrogantly.

“Ah… hahahaha… it’s fine, it’s fine! Kids, being straightforward is quite good!”

Long Bao chuckled and said with a smile, “Please have a seat first!”

However.

Despite Long Bao’s words, his posture maintained a certain haughty demeanor.

Soon, the three of them sat down.

“Fengye, your Lin Family certainly doesn’t lack martial arts experts, huh? You came to me to learn a few moves before and then left, and now you bring someone along… oh, it’s your nephew!”

Pouring wine for Lin Fengye and Lin Tian, Long Bao glanced at Lin Tian, furrowed his brows slightly, and continued, “Look at him… with his small stature, he probably wouldn’t last a day under my rigorous training!”

“Master Long, things are a bit complicated in the family, so I must trouble you. Besides, don’t be fooled by Lin Tian’s physique; he’s great in a fight! Train him some more, and he’ll be stronger in no time!”

Lin Fengye patted Lin Tian’s shoulder and graciously said, “Yes, this boy is a bit frail. But if he’s willing to train, there shouldn’t be any problem, right?”

“Hm, in Ancient Martial arts, innate conditions matter, and he doesn’t have them. What could he learn?”

Long Bao scoffed and said, “His small frame is innately at a disadvantage. What can he even learn?”

“Master Long, this…”

Lin Fengye quickly responded, not expecting Long Bao to change his mind. He assumed it was due to Lin Tian’s insufficient conditions or talent and hurriedly said, “Master Long, please teach him. Teach him as much as you can! If you’re not satisfied, we can negotiate other terms!”

“Ah… hahahaha… Fengye, no problem, no problem! He’s straightforward, just a kid, it’s good!”

Long Bao chuckled, “Let’s talk about something else first. How about the investment you mentioned in our Yibao Martial Arts Hall, a million in funding, and I’d like to invest in your Lin family’s shipping industry, what do you think? Of course, I just want a ten percent stake; I wouldn’t dare to encroach directly on the Lin Family’s territory!”

Upon hearing this, Lin Fengye’s expression suddenly changed.

The Lin Family’s business operations were always massive, even the company managed by Lin Fengye was extremely large!

A ten percent stake would be astronomical!

Moreover, this is family property. He only manages it; it doesn’t belong to him!

“Uncle! About this matter… ah, he’s not qualified to teach me anything!”
