The Urban Medical Martial Immortal

Chapter 1237: Chapter 1230: Morgue (Second Update)

Human Body Teacher!

This title is something many people are hearing for the first time.

”Teacher, the human body teacher you’re talking about, you’re not going to invite a stunningly beautiful model to let us observe thoroughly from inside out and outside in, right?”

Sitting next to Lin Tian, Xiao Feiyuan, eyes gleaming with excitement, shouted, ”Teacher, you’re amazing! This will definitely ignite everyone’s passion!”

His words made other students in the class burst into laughter.

Class leader Nian Xiaoqi rolled her eyes and whispered angrily, ”You wretched guy, don’t joke around with Teacher Loo!”

”Indeed! The human body teacher is a very beautiful model, and the teacher will let you see enough!”

Old Man Loo glanced at the boys with shining eyes below and said in a disgruntled tone, ”Follow me! For medical students, seeing their human body teacher is one of the primary lessons!”

Then.

The students of Class Six followed Old Man Loo in a grand march out of the classroom.

Soon after.

The group arrived in front of a building.

Old Man Loo, walking ahead, stopped and checked the time on his wrist, then turned back, ”We’re twenty minutes early, so wait here for a bit!”

Wait twenty minutes?

The Class Six students exchanged puzzled glances.

But soon, many noticed the three large characters on the building ahead — Morgue!

Suddenly.

Many began to feel a chill throughout their bodies, as if Yin Qi was swirling around.

At this moment, focusing on their senses, they found the surroundings were deathly silent.

Yet, it seemed as if something was encircling them, making them feel cold all over.

”Teacher, are we here at the morgue to see... see the beautiful model?”

Chubby He Siming shrank his head, glanced around nervously, and timidly asked Old Man Loo.

Others, looking at the building, showed pale expressions.

”Yes, a beautiful model! Only this model is dead!”

Old Man Loo snorted coldly and looked at the group of students, ”Our human body teacher is inside here!”

Saying this, Old Man Loo pointed at the morgue building behind him.

”Wow, teacher... you’re not saying that the so-called human body teacher is a dead... dead body, right?”

Someone from the group of Class Six students exclaimed.

This startled the other students, causing them to tremble in fear.

Although they all got into this place knowing they would study medicine, knowing they would come into contact with the dead and corpses.

But really facing it, each one became scared.

”The human body teacher is what we call it in our profession! To put it bluntly, it’s actually a corpse, a teaching body! As a teaching body, it’s like half a teacher to us, and we must approach it with respect!”

Old Man Loo, with a solemn face, began to explain to the group of students, ”Therefore, after entering, before the teacher teaches you how to retrieve the body, each one of you must perform a bowing ceremony as a rule, a formality, and moreover, a virtue! The dead have no vitality and cannot speak, but they serve as teaching tools to impart knowledge to you, enabling you to save more lives in the future! This is worthy of deep respect!”

His words made the students of Class Six turn solemn.

Lin Tian looked at Loo and nodded secretly.

As a teaching body, it indeed deserves respect; the dead have taught us things, and sometimes they are more deserving of respect than some living people!

”However, everyone should be dealing with this for the first time, being afraid is inevitable! So, after going in, take a moment to adjust!”

Old Man Loo continued, ”Once inside, group yourselves into pairs based on desk partners, enter the Medicine Pool and retrieve the body together! After entering, the teacher will guide you gradually!”

Through Old Man Loo’s words, the students’ tense mood finally eased, and the expressions on their faces were no longer as fearful as before.

Soon, Old Man Loo checked the time and then said to everyone, ”It’s already past six o’clock, follow me!”

Old Man Loo turned and walked, and Lin Tian and the other students followed him into the morgue building.

”The first-floor morgue is for our freshmen, the second-floor morgue is for the sophomores... and so on! There are a total of four levels!”

Entering the morgue building, Old Man Loo introduced to everyone, ”The first floor has eight large Medicine Pools and dissection rooms, and our Pharmacy College’s Medicine Pool and dissection rooms are at the innermost Eight Morgue.”

In front.

Was a long corridor, with somewhat dim overhead lighting.

The surroundings gave an extremely eerie feeling, and there were intermittent ghostly winds swirling around the corridor.

The students advanced nervously, following Old Man Loo step by step.

The Eight Morgue’s door was tightly shut, with a white cloth partition outside the door.

Everyone arrived at the door, Old Man Loo went forward, opened it, and a bone-chilling and pungent odor greeted them.

Some girls couldn’t hold it in on the spot and started throwing up into a nearby trash can.

Some boys even began retching.

Old Man Loo paid no attention, looking at those students with a stern expression.

Only after they threw up until they couldn’t anymore did he say in a deep voice, ”As doctors, we have to get used to everything we have to face. Just like this smell, it’s generally associated with the dead, but it’s not the smell of a corpse, so try to relax!”

These words, however, caused many more students to vomit again.

Even Nian Xiaoqi, who was doing okay, couldn’t help but run off and retch repeatedly.

Only Lin Tian and a few students stood calmly in place.

Among them was Xiao Feiyuan; maybe it was because he had seen the deceased with his own eyes today that he wasn’t scared or horrified.

Once everyone settled down, Old Man Loo continued, ”You’ll get used to it after a few times! Those doctors who save lives in emergencies need to have strong psychological resilience, and this needs to be honed starting from now! Now, collectively bow to your human body teacher inside!”

Upon hearing this, the students straightened their faces and respectfully bowed towards the morgue door.

In the face of such a matter, no one dared to slack off.

”Lin Tian, I feel like we’ve walked into a horror movie! Before applying to the medical university, I thought I’d encounter this, but being here, I’m still a bit scared!”

Next to him, Xiao Feiyuan gave Lin Tian a wry smile in a low voice, ”Luckily, I’ve been through this morning’s event, otherwise, brother, I would’ve disgracefully thrown up all my lunch!”

Lin Tian smiled slightly without saying a word.

The other students also heard what Xiao Feiyuan said, though they didn’t know what happened in the morning, but the comparison to entering a horror movie seemed spot on.

The real morgue hadn’t even been entered yet, and just walking down this corridor was enough to terrify anyone.

If one was here alone now, they’d definitely be scared off.

So Lin Tian noticed that many of his classmates couldn’t help sticking their hands in their pockets, seemingly fiddling with something. Presumably, it must have been the piece of pomelo leaf.

”Students, follow the teacher inside!”

Old Man Loo adjusted his reading glasses on his nose and beckoned to the group of students, walking further inside.
