The Urban Medical Martial Immortal

Capítulo 1215: Chapter 1208: Voting

Lin Tian walked leisurely, basking in the afternoon sunlight, feeling in high spirits.

After a while, he decided to take advantage of the noon break to head back to the Siheyuan.

The soil for planting Taixuan Grass needed some time to be improved.

It wasn’t something that could be fixed in one or two tries.

But just as he returned to the Siheyuan, his little aunt, Lin Youran, gave him a call.

“You little rascal, you’ve really outdone yourself this time, making such a fuss, even getting the school leaders involved! If it weren’t for Principal Gao Xinhuan suppressing the matter, what would you do then!”

Lin Youran’s words carried a hint of anger as she gave Lin Tian a scolding, pouting, “Humph, if you cause such a big stir at school again, your little aunt will definitely give you a good beating!”

Faced with the reprimand from this aunt he’d never met, Lin Tian could only smile wryly and listen.

His little aunt’s help to him and his family was something he appreciated deeply.

Everything was for his own good.

“Little aunt, I’ll remember!”

Lin Tian nodded in agreement, obediently accepting the lecture.

However.

What Lin Youran said next nearly made him stumble: “Of course, this applies to teachers. But if it’s other rogue students or bullies, use as much force as you can to hit back! Even if you cripple them, your aunt will have your back! Just don’t be like you were in high school, apparently getting bullied all the time!”

What?

Is this really my little aunt?

Does she have to be so violent and masculine!

Always talking about crippling people!

She’s really just like Uncle Lin Fengye in personality!

Lin Tian was a bit bewildered and dumbfounded, and after a while, he replied with a wry smile, “I remember what little aunt said!”

After Lin Youran nagged for a while longer, she finally hung up the phone.

At noon, there was no one else in the Siheyuan; it was obvious that Gao Xinhuan would not return during the day.

Lin Tian swaggered into the garden, using the Grasping Spirit Technique to continue improving the soil.

He sat cross-legged in the middle of the garden, as immovable as a mountain.

Unknowingly, time flowed on, and as it neared school time, Lin Tian got up and returned to school.

The first class in the afternoon was a public anesthesiology class, which many students involved in medicine must learn.

Even if you won’t become a specialized anesthesiologist in the future, you must learn it to a certain extent.

A qualified doctor, besides possessing their own unique skills, must at least understand some basic knowledge in other areas.

You don’t need to specialize, but you must know how to do it!

For instance, as an internal medicine doctor, you might almost never operate like a surgeon, but if faced with a special situation that requires saving a life, you must know how to perform a surgery and administer anesthesia.

After all, life is at stake!

Sometimes, that extra half a minute can save a life!

However.

What the hell is anesthesiology; to Lin Tian, it’s utterly redundant!

If he needed to save someone, would he need anesthesia?

Obviously not!

So during the public class, he directly lay down on the desk and slept.

Before he knew it, the class was over.

Lin Tian and Xiao Feiyuan went together to the student council headquarters in the Traditional Chinese Medicine School District.

When the two arrived at the student society headquarters, class monitor Nian Xiaoqi was already there with other classmates.

According to school tradition, Monday afternoons only have one class, and the remaining time is for the weekly student council meeting.

Generally, it involves summarizing last week’s matters and planning tasks for the new week.

In university, the student council often plays an extremely important role.

Neither tutors nor counselors supervise students’ learning like in high school anymore.

If you encounter insurmountable difficulties in learning or life, you must find a tutor or counselor yourself.

Almost always, the student council oversees aspects like school learning, safety, discipline, hygiene, sports, and entertainment.

You could say that the student council is the manager of the students, self-governing and self-studying!

Therefore, the power of the student council is relatively very, very large!

Each Monday meeting is divided into a large public meeting and a student council leadership meeting.

The student council leadership is generally divided into—

President!

Two Vice Presidents!

The heads of each department, and team leaders of each subgroup!

These leaders must at least be sophomores, and once they reach senior year, they must resign!

The student council departments mainly include: Disciplinary Inspection Department, Health Department, Publicity Department, Sports Department, Entertainment Department, Medical Department, and Security Department!

The Medical Department is quite special and is only set up at medical universities!

Regarding the student council, Nian Xiaoqi explained to her classmates on-site, and finally she emphasized, “We are now allowed to join the student council, but there is a probation period! If anyone violates the rules during this period, their qualifications will be canceled! Or if they commit serious violations in the future, they will be expelled from the student council and can never apply again!”

As the group entered the large meeting room of the student society headquarters, nearly two thousand people had already gathered—all members of the student council.

Today’s main task is to vote to elect the new president, with three candidates competing—

First is Baao Shichi from the Acupuncture College, who took first place in last year’s acupuncture competition!

Second is Ding Hao from the Clinical College, rumored to be a genius in the field of surgery knives, backed by Tang Huajun, the number one young master of the Traditional Chinese Medicine School District.

Third is the female student Xian Fuling from the Life Sciences College!

Among the three, Baao Shichi doesn’t have many connections, but he is reportedly linked with Goo Juunli from the Western Medicine Campus.

Ding Hao has the greatest power and is determined to win the presidency.

However.

Xian Fuling received the most support and backing from the members below!

As a result, Ding Hao secretly coerced many freshmen to vote for him.

This led to the incident where Qin Shi and others pressured Lin Tian to join the student council and vote for Ding Hao.

“That’s Senior Sister Xian Fuling; when I came to submit my application form, I heard many people talk about her. It’s said that last year she formulated a new drug in the lab, won an international award, and it’s ready to be implemented in major hospitals! That’s why Senior Sister Xian has many followers, and many new freshmen are in awe of her award-winning achievements!”

Sitting beside Lin Tian and others, Nian Xiaoqi explained while pointing out the girl on the conference stage.

Xian Fuling had a round face with big beautiful eyes, sporting short hair and wearing a white laboratory coat, looking very capable, with a continuous smile revealing shallow dimples.

Beside her were the two young men, Baao Shichi and Ding Hao. Baao Shichi was somewhat fat with a broad face and big ears, while Ding Hao wore casual clothes and shoes with a gentle and elegant smile.

“Hehe, classmates, the student council’s new election is extremely important for both you and the school! So you must carefully consider your vote!”

At this moment, Ding Hao slightly smiled, scanning the crowd below as he spoke loudly.

However, once he said this, many students’ expressions changed slightly, showing signs of fear.

“Lin Tian, later it’s an anonymous vote, should we still vote for Ding Hao?”

Xiao Feiyuan leaned toward Lin Tian’s ear and whispered.

“No votes for him! Let’s go with… Xian Fuling!”

Lin Tian slightly shook his head, and as the voting phase began, he directly wrote Xian Fuling’s name on the ballot.

Xiao Feiyuan hesitated, and couldn’t help but ask, “Ah… why?”

“No particular reason, just looks pleasing to the eye!”

Lin Tian shrugged and replied casually.

But he smirked, glancing at the surveillance camera in the corner of the conference room with a knowing expression.

The so-called anonymous vote was just a formality. Among nearly two thousand people below, who voted for whom was clearly recorded by the cameras above!

Ding Hao, regardless of whether he is elected president or not, will definitely review the surveillance, but Lin Tian simply didn’t care.
