Chapter 1202: Chapter 1195: Elective Courses

”Grandpa, it was too late to catch up earlier, I couldn’t find anyone, and I don’t know which class the student is from!”

Seeing her grandpa looking anxious, Zhu Youyou hastened to comfort Zhu Chenshan, saying, ”Grandpa, let’s have the academy handle this. Once we find the person, we must make that little guy come here and apologize to me! He almost messed things up!”

Don’t know which class the student is from?

Hearing that it was someone unfamiliar, Zhu Chenshan frowned, his expression becoming even more anxious.

”If it was Ma Wenjie who personally called them here, there shouldn’t be a problem. Given his strict attitude towards medicine, how could he let someone delivering the prescription cause such chaos!”

Zhu Chenshan muttered softly, feeling bewildered, and finally shook his head, saying, ”Youyou, did you personally witness that young man writing this prescription?”

”Yes, Grandpa, he used our pharmacy’s paper and pen, and I saw him write it with my own eyes!”

Zhu Youyou nodded firmly, saying, ”Grandpa, I will pay more attention to such matters in the future. I almost got fooled by him!”

”No, no... Youyou, you’re not at fault! The main issue is with the preparation steps...”

At this moment, Zhu Chenshan’s hand holding the prescription was trembling slightly, and his face was filled with excitement. He shook his head repeatedly, muttering to himself, ”Genius, a genius! The Medicine Saint once prescribed something similar, using almost the same herbs. But... this one is even more brilliant!”

”Grandpa, what are you talking about? Don’t be angry, don’t be angry!”

Seeing Zhu Chenshan’s reaction, Zhu Youyou thought he was upset and quickly tried to comfort him.

She did not clearly hear Zhu Chenshan’s muttering like being under a spell.

Zhu Chenshan waved his hand at Zhu Youyou and continued questioning, ”Girl, when that little guy was leaving, did he instruct you that in an emergency, you should brew the medicine using this prescription?”

”Grandpa, he did say that, and I almost believed it at the time!”

Zhu Youyou nodded gently, still with a lingering fear on her face.

Hearing this, Zhu Chenshan frowned, picked up the prescription written by Ma Wenjie to examine it repeatedly. The prescription seemed fine.

”Girl, come help grandpa!”

Zhu Chenshan stood up at this point and handed over the prescription written by Lin Tian, saying, ”Go to the medicine storage and get all the herbs as per the list! We have stocks of Hu Ti Grass and agarwood seeds!”

”Ah... Grandpa, you really want to brew this nonsense of a prescription?”

Zhu Youyou was taken aback, puzzled.

”Follow grandpa’s instructions, hurry! Once we find that young man, grandpa will explain it to you later!”

Zhu Chenshan waved his hand, hastily urging her.

Zhu Youyou was full of doubt but did not question further since grandpa had already spoken. She trotted off to the medicine storage.

Not long after, Zhu Youyou returned.

By this time, Zhu Chenshan had prepared all the equipment, and the grandfather-granddaughter duo started brewing the medicine.

During the process, with each step, Zhu Chenshan couldn’t help but shake his head repeatedly, wearing an expression of shock and admiration.

Ten minutes later.

The medicine was brewed.

Simultaneously, the urgent sound of a phone ringing followed.

Zhu Youyou hurried to answer it. After listening for a few seconds, her expression changed drastically, calling out to Zhu Chenshan, ”Grandpa... something happened, something happened! The student who was originally stabilized has worsened after drinking the previous potion! Ma Wenjie says a hemorrhagic condition has occurred!”

So it really is the case!

Ma Wenjie’s prescription wasn’t wrong, but it wasn’t truly effective for the ailment?

Was that student really saved by Ma Wenjie?

At this moment, Zhu Chenshan felt both bewildered and astonished, quickly packing up the medicine and urgently urging Zhu Youyou, ”Girl, don’t say anything now, just listen to grandpa! Immediately deliver this Traditional Chinese Medicine, including the external application, to the emergency room! Also, if Ma Wenjie and the others ask, just say that this was a prescription concocted by grandpa himself!”

”Ah...”

Zhu Youyou hung up the phone, completely puzzled.

”Don’t just stand there, hurry and deliver it. Just do as grandpa says!”

Zhu Chenshan urged her again, anxiously, ”Grandpa will explain later!”

Ever since she was young, Zhu Youyou had lost both her parents and had been living with her grandpa Zhu Chenshan, who she always obediently listened to. Despite having countless doubts now, she quickly suppressed them, picked up the Traditional Chinese Medicine, and headed to the emergency room.

At this moment.

Inside the emergency room.

Fang Shilei, Ma Wenjie, Tan Zhiren, and Hong Hui were all anxiously pacing around, their faces filled with worry.

On the hospital bed, Yan Song, who had initially stabilized, now had cracked skin all over his body, oozing lots and lots of fresh blood, staining most of his clothes in just a few minutes.

If this continued, he would bleed to death sooner or later.

”Ma Wenjie, could the medication have been used incorrectly?”

Fang Shilei frowned, asking.

”The prescription I made, the medicine I concocted, I can recognize it, there’s no mistake!”

Ma Wenjie shook his head confidently, saying, ”We need to find a way to stop the bleeding first!”

But.

No matter what method they tried, none could stop Yan Song’s hemorrhage, and even if they called an ambulance now, it wouldn’t make it in time.

There was no blood bank in the academy!

Just then, a series of footsteps came from outside. Zhu Youyou rushed in, urgently saying, ”Grandpa Tan, Grandpa Hong, Mr. Ma... quickly give this student this medicine, it’s my grandpa’s own prescription, just brewed! He prepared it in advance just in case something happened, now it’s perfect timing to use it!”

”Was it brewed using Mr. Zhu’s prescription?”

Ma Wenjie was startled, quickly stepped forward to take it, then administered it to Yan Song both orally and as an external application.

Amazingly, within just a dozen seconds, Yan Song’s hemorrhaging stopped, and everything calmed down.

Everyone was instantly stunned.

”Oh my god, this prescription from Mr. Zhu...”

Ma Wenjie couldn’t help but exclaim in surprise.

At the same time.

Lin Tian had already returned to his class. As for the prescription he casually wrote, he never thought about whether those people actually used it, nor did he care. He had done all he could, and whether they managed to save the person or not was none of his concern.

As he returned to the classroom, the students naturally all looked over in unison.

Being summoned by Mao Yongyi, they all thought Lin Tian would probably be expelled.

Unexpectedly, he came back.

”Looks like Teacher Fang’s pleading worked!”

Someone spoke up.

Originally, many people here despised Lin Tian, even though most of them were from outside and their families were ordinary, they still felt superior to Lin Tian, who came from a once-prominent family but was now deemed worthless.

Proud as they were, they valued the paths they would take in the future, and the outcomes they would achieve through their own efforts.

However.

After Lin Tian stood up for them, their impression of him changed entirely.

Thus, everyone was very concerned about Lin Tian’s situation.

”Lin Tian, is everything resolved? Did Teacher Fang and Mao Yongyi plead for you?”

Once Lin Tian sat down, Xiao Feiyuan inquired.

”It’s all settled!”

Lin Tian nodded with a smile, paused, and added, ”Yes, it was Teacher Fang who helped!”

”That’s great! It seems Mao Yongyi still has some conscience, perhaps he was busy cleaning up his previous speech blunder...”

Xiao Feiyuan breathed a sigh of relief.

Not long after.

Fang Shilei returned as well.

She walked into the classroom, glanced at Lin Tian, and then said, ”The issue with Lin Tian has been resolved! In the future, if anyone encounters anything, remember to inform the teacher first, don’t act recklessly, so as not to ultimately jeopardize your education and future!”

”Since Mr. Gao is not here, I’ll talk to you all about the curriculum!”

Fang Shilei’s face turned serious and she said solemnly, ”Our major is pharmacology, and pharmacology is the core compulsory course. But there are other mandatory courses, including — Traditional Chinese Medicine Meridian Studies, Advanced Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Clinical Pharmacology, Acupuncture Studies, etc.! Mr. Gao will elaborate on these, and other course lecturers will personally teach you!”
