The Urban Medical Martial Immortal

Capítulo 1233: Chapter 1226: Youzi Mountain

Lin Tian kicked the ball and made it explode, then turned around to leave.

Taking advantage of this time, Lin Tian prepared to head to the student council’s Medical Department.

Since he had an agreement with that old man Jiang Qianyu, he could allocate all the resources as he pleased.

Especially since it’s just a pile of useless medicinal waste residue.

However.

Just as he arrived at the bottom of the Medical Department building, he ran into an acquaintance!

It was Lu Jie, the Vice Chairman of the Western Medicine Campus Student Council!

“Lin Tian, what a coincidence! We meet again! Last time I said I’d treat you to a meal, but you ended up treating me!”

Seeing Lin Tian, Lu Jie’s eyes lit up, and she approached with a bright smile. She was always grateful for Lin Tian’s help last time, so she seemed very excited, “Aren’t you having classes this afternoon? How come you’ve left early!”

“Senior Sister Lu! We were having a soccer class, and I just ran off because it was a bit boring!”

Lin Tian replied with a smile to Lu Jie, “But did you come to our Traditional Chinese Medicine School District’s student council for something?”

“Speaking of soccer class, it just so happens to relate to what I wanted to talk about! I came over to discuss with your Chairman Xian Fuling about our two campuses holding a soccer match at the end of the month! You must actively participate then; it’s the involvement that matters!”

Lu Jie looked a bit surprised, then said, “And this time I came over, I was also planning to find you! Didn’t expect to meet you by chance!”

“A soccer match, huh? I’ll go join the fun when it happens then!”

Lin Tian wasn’t very interested in the match, but when it happens, it would surely attract many students to watch. If he couldn’t find that mysterious girl here, maybe she’d be at the Western Medicine Campus, thinking of this made his eyes brighten, and he quickly nodded, “But as for the match, I’ll just participate. But did you find me for something?”

“Because according to the usual schedule, the freshman courses at the Traditional Chinese Medicine School District shouldn’t change!”

Lu Jie said with a smile, “So, you should have anatomy class tomorrow evening after the afternoon! Even though our college’s corpse room is one of the largest in the country, there’s no way to schedule all the students in one afternoon!”

“Evening?”

Lin Tian visibly showed a surprised expression, then took out the class schedule from his pocket and checked. The anatomy class was indeed from six to eight in the evening, which greatly surprised him, “Why in the evening? Going to the corpse room at night is really eerie!”

“I’m not quite sure about that. But it’s an old rule left by the former principal! The afternoon is the anatomy theory class, and only in the evening do you go to the corpse room, supposedly seeing ghosts in the daytime is scarier than at night! There’s even a rumor of a student being scared to death going in the daytime before!”

Lu Jie furrowed her pretty brows and shook her head, saying, “But that’s all old history now, and many teachers take the students during the day with no taboos! But your Pharmacy College and Clinical College still adhere to this tradition! So I think you need a Grapefruit Talisman, to ward off evil spirits and avoid danger!”

“A Grapefruit Talisman? What kind of thing is that! And all this about warding off evil? I don’t believe in ghosts!”

Lin Tian could make talismans himself and knew about Ghost Cultivators, but didn’t believe in ghosts as a Cultivator, the least he feared was ghosts; he could handle each one that came his way, so he smiled and shook his head at Lu Jie, “It’s just dead bodies, I’m not scared!”

“You’ve got some guts, no wonder you dared to hit Mao Yongyi and beat up Sima Tao! I’ve heard about that! It’s a good thing Principal Gao covered it up somewhat, otherwise, the whole school knowing could cause quite a stir!”

Lu Jie smiled wryly and said, “But the first time going to the corpse room, wearing a Grapefruit Talisman is a custom at our college! When in Rome, as they say, could you join me tomorrow morning? Today, some students might have already gone and returned from some divisions!”

“Well… alright then!”

Lin Tian couldn’t refuse anymore and agreed.

Plus, if he didn’t go, Xiao Feiyuan might have to go, so he might as well check it out.

Lin Tian and Lu Jie finally agreed to meet at the academy gate early the next morning since there were no classes scheduled for the morning anyway.

After Lu Jie left, Lin Tian went up to the Medical Department and called Xiao Feiyuan to explain the situation, and they agreed to meet at the school gate the next morning as well.

There was no one in the Medical Department, and Lin Tian took some medicinal waste residues and hurried back to the Siheyuan.

Xia Xiaobei and Gao Xinhuan hadn’t returned yet, so Lin Tian directly sat cross-legged in the flower bed and began extracting the Spiritual Energy from the medicinal waste residues, refining them for the soil.

The medicinal waste residue contained some medicinal power, which was just as effective as using Spiritual Energy to improve the soil.

After using up those waste residues, Lin Tian returned to his room, sat cross-legged on the bed for a while, and then fell asleep.

The night passed quickly.

As dawn broke, Lin Tian got up and went out.

The sky was drizzling with faint rain.

Lin Tian walked through the rain and arrived at the academy gate.

Lu Jie and Xiao Feiyuan were already waiting there.

Besides the two of them, there were two other boys Lin Tian didn’t recognize, standing behind Lu Jie, probably from the Western Medicine Campus.

To his surprise, Yang Jingjing, Lu Jie’s good friend, didn’t come!

“Senior Sister Lu!”

Lin Tian approached quickly, with a nod and a smile.

“This is Lin Tian, also a new junior from the Pharmacy College!”

Lu Jie introduced to the two boys, then pointed at them and said to Lin Tian, “Zhang Hu and Shen Gaiyun, both from our Forensic Medical College!”

Lin Tian smiled and nodded to the two boys.

“Senior Sister Lu, you still haven’t told us where to get this Grapefruit Talisman?”

At this moment, Xiao Feiyuan took the opportunity to ask.

“We’re going to Youzi Mountain next to University City! It’s full of grapefruit trees there, and some of the special leaves are said to ward off evil and bring good luck. Speaking of which, we’re taking you guys since you’re friends of Chairman Lu!”

Shen Gaiyun took over the conversation, his voice a bit muffled, “Of course, we’re also going because we need the Grapefruit Talisman. We have a tradition of going there once before each new term’s anatomy class begins!”

“Youzi Mountain? Wow, so this is basically a sightseeing tour!”

Xiao Feiyuan’s eyes lit up, and he rubbed his hands in excitement.

Youzi Mountain is located in the northwest direction of University City, a ridge spanning several kilometers.

The five of them took a taxi to the road heading to Youzi Mountain, then walked to their destination.

Luckily, Youzi Mountain is a massive ridge within the urban area, with roads built on it, making it easy to navigate.

But as they reached halfway up, Xiao Feiyuan quickly noticed something amiss.

“Whoa, how come… how is there so much white cloth and… and yellow paper? And… and over there are many coffins dug up and exposed…”

Xiao Feiyuan suddenly paused, pointing at a spot below the road in the woods with a frightened expression, shouting out loud.

The not fully brightened sky, the light drizzle, the dark dense forest, white cloth hanging on the trees, yellow paper scattered around, coffin wood lying on the ground…

The scene in front of them was as eerie as it could get, definitely heart-stopping for the average person.
