Chapter 1203: Chapter 1196: No Need to Quibble with the Dead

”Let me talk about the elective courses in our college! And arrange them for you along the way!”

On the podium, Fang Shilei looked at the students below and solemnly said, ”Besides interests and hobbies, elective courses are for you to earn credits!”

Below.

Many students cast questioning glances at Fang Shilei.

For those who have just graduated from high school and entered university, elective courses are full of novelty.

”Teacher Fang, what elective courses are there? For example, is there swimming?”

”Yeah, are there any sports? Or painting and singing?”

”Teacher, can we take electives from other majors in the college? Like Psychology or Management?”

”Teacher Fang, how many elective courses can we choose?”

The students in the class spoke up one after another with questions.

”Everything you mentioned is available! Our college has all kinds of clubs and elective majors! As for the number of electives, there’s no limit; as long as the courses don’t conflict, you can take them! This is important for your credit accumulation!”

Fang Shilei gestured with her hands, smiling as she explained, ”It’s just that the other compulsory majors for electives aren’t open yet in the first year; they become available in the second year as minors! Now, you can only take elective courses!”

After saying this, Fang Shilei paused and continued:

”As for elective courses, there are many; they come in various forms! They mainly include four categories—Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Arts!”

”World Civilization History, Ancient Poetry Appreciation, History of Ancient and Modern Philosophy, Literary Development History, Sports, etc., all belong to Humanities!”

”Criminal Law, Forensic Medicine, Education, Fitness, etc., fall under Social Sciences!”

”Meteorology, Astronomy, Tourism, etc., pertain to Natural Sciences!”

”Aesthetics, Creativity, Music, Dance, etc., are part of Arts!”

...

Fang Shilei explained the elective courses in great detail, almost going through them one by one.

This made the students even more excited.

Each of them had different interests, but these courses almost covered all their preferences.

At this time, Xiao Feiyuan suddenly raised his hand, stood up, and loudly asked, ”Then, teacher... like World Women’s History, the Development History of Women’s Underwear... and the Development History of Women’s umm belts, do these also fall under Humanities? Is there a chance to study them?”

Pfft~

This statement made many students spit blood in disbelief.

The many girls in the class blushed, their beautiful eyes glaring at Xiao Feiyuan with anger.

”Xiao Feiyuan, if you keep talking nonsense, don’t think about enrolling in elective courses! Let’s see how you earn enough credits then!”

On the podium, Fang Shilei’s face was also flushed with anger, glaring at Xiao Feiyuan, admonishing sharply.

”Ahem... Teacher Fang, don’t be angry, don’t be angry! Just kidding, just kidding, just trying to liven things up...”

Seeing Fang Shilei was upset, Xiao Feiyuan quickly shrank his head and sat back down hastily.

”Hmph!”

Fang Shilei saw that Xiao Feiyuan sat down, her expression eased slightly, and she continued, ”Our college’s electives are divided into inter-collegiate electives and club electives! Inter-collegiate electives are not the same as second-year minors! For instance, Psychology, Forensic Medicine, Management, these can be taken as elective courses! As for clubs, there are so many like the Martial Arts Club, Astronomy Club, Anime Club, Music Club, Football Club, Swimming Club, E-sports Club, Basketball Club, etc.!”

”Wow...”

After listening to Fang Shilei’s detailed explanations, many students widened their eyes, filled with wonder and excitement.

Whether from a hobby perspective or just to join the fun, these so-called inter-collegiate electives and clubs are very attractive.

”Awesome! I want to take all of them!”

”I want to join the Basketball Club! And the Swimming Club! Wow, ha ha... I can play basketball every day! Swim every day...”

”I’ll take ten of them!”

The students in the class expressed their excitement, faces full of anticipation.

”You can choose as many as you like as long as you have the energy and tuition! But one thing you must keep in mind is that they should not conflict with required courses! Of course, since the college lists them, the courses are mostly well-arranged, with few conflicts! But some conflicts do occur, so choose wisely!”

Fang Shilei looked at the youthful faces, smiling as she said, ”Of course, most students here are from out of town, and they don’t have much money. So my suggestion is to choose elective courses that suit you and are within your ability to afford! Next, I’ll distribute the elective forms, listing almost all available inter-collegiate courses and clubs. Fill them out with complete information, including your mobile phone number... But don’t rush to fill them out now; you can think about it at home and submit the forms tomorrow. Afterward, the teacher will help you submit them, and you will be notified to go!”

”Understand?”

Students below quickly responded, indicating they understood.

After handing out the elective forms and explaining some other matters, Fang Shilei dismissed the class, and formal lessons would start the next day.

Due to Lin Tian having previously beaten up Sima Tao and a student from Clinical College, Yan Song, things had been delayed. It was already noon now.

Lin Tian and Xiao Feiyuan didn’t go out; instead, they had lunch at the college canteen.

Returning to the dormitory, Niu Yongrui, He Le, Pan Yuanshan, and Huang Peng were all there too.

Their legs seemed to be almost healed, just minor fractures.

When the four saw Lin Tian and Xiao Feiyuan come in, their expressions changed slightly, showing signs of fear.

But then, Niu Yongrui exclaimed in surprise, ”I heard someone beat up Sima Tao just now? Was it you?”

”Hmm, he deserved it!”

Lin Tian, looking as usual, nodded slightly and replied.

Hiss~

The four of them couldn’t help but take a deep breath; in the college, they hadn’t heard of anyone who dared to beat a college leader and remained unscathed.

”Impressive!”

Niu Yongrui spat out two words with force.

Lin Tian ignored the four and went inside with Xiao Feiyuan.

But while Lin Tian was resting in the room, a loud noise and commotion erupted outside.

”Call those inside out!”

Then came a burst of scolding from outside, accompanied by cold laughter: ”Heh, staying in Young Master Tang’s room? Truly seeking death!”

”Yes, yes... Young Master Qin, I’ll call them out!”

Next were respectful responses from Niu Yongrui and others.

However.

Lin Tian didn’t wait for Niu Yongrui to come in; he and Xiao Feiyuan had already gone out.

Outside, Lin Tian was a bit surprised as the group that appeared was Qin Shi and others from the second year.

”Wow, it’s you guys? I didn’t expect you’d be safe in 506! And you took Young Master Tang’s room! Impressive, impressive, I, Qin Shi, am in awe! Hahaha... But this makes things easier!”

Qin Shi paused when he recognized Lin Tian and the others, showing a wary look but quickly laughing and saying, ”The other dormitories were fine before this, and Niu Yongrui and others had no issues here!”

”Of course, of course... The student union’s handover, Young Master Tang designated Mr. Ding to take over his position; we will fully support it!”

Niu Yongrui replied obsequiously, smiling to please.

Qin Shi ignored him and continued speaking to Lin Tian and Xiao Feiyuan, ”You heard what Niu Yongrui said; it’s simple, just join the student council and fully support Mr. Ding. As long as you do, the previous conflict will be bygone! Additionally, I can plead on your behalf regarding staying in Young Master Tang’s room; at least it won’t cost you your lives in Yanjing! Of course, you can refuse; I won’t do anything to you!”

”After all, it’s not necessary to fuss with the dead! Moreover, your two lives are fated to belong to Young Master Tang, and I dare not touch you!”

Speaking of this, Qin Shi grinned, ”Now, don’t rush to refuse; think it over and give me an answer by tomorrow!”

Then, Qin Shi and his group left again.
