I AM the Football Star

Chapter 514: Chapter 140: Everyone Is Showing Off—Except Naji, Who’s Getting Beaten Up

”In comparison, the pairing of Lam and Latu Yidi is actually more stable.”

”Naji’s footwork indeed still has some shortcomings. This ball could have been controlled well by either Palacios or Bernulin, but he couldn’t.”

”If you insist on starting him, we will pay a significant price.”

Sotu nodded, ”That’s why this season, my plan is to position him as a substitute. He still needs to learn well, and with Bernulin and Palacios around, he should be able to learn a lot.”

Tom was a bit surprised, ”Can Naji accept this arrangement?”

Sotu said, ”If this season we’re planning to do something big, then last season’s situation where he doubled on own goals absolutely cannot happen again. He must understand that it’s okay for the team to develop young players, but there’s a limit to this.”

Not every team is Manchester United, capable of endlessly waiting for their young players to grow.

But actually, how many of Manchester United’s ”genius players” have really made it through these years?

You have to treat your own kids well, but if they don’t perform well, why can’t they be criticized?

Greenwood from last week’s match should indeed be criticized; only then will he know many of his choices during the game were wrong, and only then can he improve.

Those fans who claimed Greenwood’s value to be two hundred million and fancy themselves as the team’s fan are not true lovers of Manchester United; they are just another form of extreme fans.

San Remo’s patience with Naji has reached its limit.

If Naji can’t keep up, at the very least... this train won’t wait for him.

Lu Yang, Morici, Sogel, Canyes, there’s clearly a trend of taking off, and they can’t stop for one person.

Lastly... Sotu learned something about Naji taking money from Morici.

Lu Yang had communicated with him.

Naji’s behavior was extremely inappropriate.

While taking teammates to bet is itself wrong, the worse part about this incident is that Naji conned Morici out of one thousand three hundred euros.

If it were a joke, then it wouldn’t matter; he could find a chance to return the money or buy something of equivalent value for Morici.

But Naji really took the money and didn’t give it back.

Naji isn’t inherently bad, but... at the age of ten to twenty, going from obscurity to fame, facing various temptations in society, young people can easily stray.

An excellent Head Coach needs to teach players not only how to play soccer but also how to be a good person.

Just like Ferguson with C Luo.

This season, Sotu will focus much of his energy outside of games on educating Naji.

This might be the greatest treasure he can leave for San Remo in the future.

Naji truly is an obvious talent, a top-tier center-back prospect.

Of course, these matters are only known to Lu Yang and Sotu.

Even Morici is unaware.

If this were to get out, Morici might be okay, but Naji would be destroyed. He might never make the national team again, as seen with Benzema!

After this goal, Belletti substituted for Bai Zhami.

The eighty-ninth minute of the entire match.

Lu Yang made a wide transfer ball during a cut-in, sending it to the right side.

Canyes successfully received the ball at the bottom, feigned a cross, but actually, when he touched the ball, his right foot cut in, adjusted the direction of the pass. The football flew diagonally to Morici three steps outside the top arc of the penalty area.

Morici, with the outside of his right foot, flicked the ball effortlessly past a group of defensive players.

Belletti, fresh and full of stamina, started timely, poking the ball into the net just before the defensive players and goalkeeper could react.

San Remo scored another goal.

Six to one!

San Remo triumphs over Chitadella, waving the flag in Serie B!

San Remo, they’re here!
