I AM the Football Star

Chapter 504: Chapter 138: Player Ability Update, Europa League Group Draw 2

The older Matias is in his prime, with a modest increase of 2 points. His ratings will grow increasingly slowly, and this is almost his career peak.

Camihong and Bai Zhami are young, each with a 3-point increase.

Naji is a center-back, a position that typically grows slowly in the early stages. Besides, Naji has many minor issues and controversial performances, thus he only increased by 2 points.

The second wave involves players who participated in the European Youth Championship.

Areola 75-77

Lam 74-76

Versachi 69-73

Sogel 72-77

Canyes 77-80

Morici 75-80

Areola and Lam showed little increase because their position has a longer growth cycle, which is slow at first. Their performances in this year’s European Youth Championship were not particularly brilliant, especially Lam.

Versachi surged by 4 points, even though he was mostly a substitute. Currently, he adapts well to the rotational gameplay. Someday, when rotation affects his growth ability, he will need to play as a starter.

Many players also reach the point where they require specific positions, forcing them to leave their original teams for more playing opportunities.

Sogel was the most aggressive, increasing by 5 points.

This clearly shows he is one of the biggest beneficiaries of recent matches.

His rapid growth phase in youth is about to appear, and he is quickly advancing toward becoming a star.

In fact, staying at San Remo this season might be Sogel’s most correct career decision. His ability is expected to increase significantly this season.

However, if he returns to AC Milan this season and competes for a position, often sitting on the bench, it will waste his rapid growth phase and lower his ultimate potential in the future.

Now... one can responsibly say that a future central forward capable of wreaking havoc in Serie A has begun to take shape.

Canyes only increased by three points, which doesn’t seem much, but keep in mind, he has reached 80 points.

He has advanced into the star realm.

As for Brother Lu... no more talk, even at 79.9, he is still held outside the star category. It’s simply unjust!

This garbage system quickly evaluates teammates but insists on waiting until the entire season ends to evaluate oneself. It’s too inflexible!

However, speaking of being impressive, Momo is truly the most impressive.

Increased by 5 points over the summer, also stepping into the star bracket.

Although Lu Yang estimates his rating is at least 81, higher than Momo, but... Momo is a star, while Brother Lu can only be a regular player in the Five Major Leagues.

Who to complain to?

But...

Lu Yang’s amazement is still not because of this group of people.

It’s because of the last group of people.

Jalard 72-73

Belletti 73-74

Palacios 72-73

Latu Yidi 77-79

Bernulin 84-85

Shocking, isn’t it!

From Latu Yidi, it can be seen that the level of veterans declines over time.

Normally, these veterans’ ratings should remain unchanged or decrease by one point.

But now, without exception, they all increased!

Revival in old age!

Old trees sprout new shoots!

This is the charm of champions!

Among them, Latu Yidi had a good base, surging by 2 points.

Bernulin even became an ”elite star” lift, returned to the elite star ranks, and can serve as the main player in any top club.

This also shows that Juventus certainly undersold him.

Their main reason for not giving Bernulin a big contract was thinking Bernulin’s form might quickly decline.

But... honestly, an 85-point team accolade, team captain, dressing room leader, even as a rotation, deserves a three-million top salary in Serie A.

Because his contribution wouldn’t be much less than a top star around 89 or 90.

With teammate ratings updated, Lu Yang has a good grasp of the team.

This luxurious lineup.

Honestly, why play in Serie B? How about jumping straight to Serie A?

Of course, it is just a hopeful thought.

In Serie A, there are indeed teams similar to San Remo in standard, but overall more teams have stronger comprehensive strength, not to mention their bench lineup is also of similar level.

In fact, leagues like Serie B, Championship, and Second Division all have two or three teams possessing such comprehensive strength.

Because the top teams in secondary leagues are the relegation teams of super leagues.

The next day, San Remo hurriedly flew back to Italy.

Not only because their first game of the new season is on September 1st, but also because on August 31st, their head coach Mr. Suotu will attend the draw ceremony for this year’s UEFA Europa League group stage.

Sometimes, this draw can determine a team’s entire season of European competition, so it’s extremely important.

Soon, the UEFA Europa League groups were released.

San Remo’s fate doesn’t seem so good.

They’re placed in Group C, facing Austria’s league giant Salzburg Red Bull, Russia’s league powerhouse Zenit St. Petersburg, and Ligue 1’s fifth-place Ness last season!

There’s no doubt, they’re strong teams!

Among them, Ness’s rising star Hassim Boe recently said after his defeat in the European Youth Championship, ”I hope my club will be in the same group as San Remo. Then, I’ll let Italians know they reached the final only because they didn’t meet us in the semi-final!”

It’s impossible that UEFA didn’t arrange this.
