I AM the Football Star

Chapter 488: Chapter 134: Latest Golden Boy Award Rankings, Lavish Friendly Matches (Part 2)

The Spanish returned to Spain and suffered a severe blow in the subsequent team friendly matches. Their main striker, or rather shadow striker, sprained his ankle in a tussle with the opposing player and got injured.

It is initially estimated that it will take at least three months before he can play again.

They originally had no reserves on the front line, so they continued to buy forwards.

They issued two offers, one was to a forward in the Belgian First Division A with a bid of 2.5 million euros.

Another was sent to the Shanghai Port Team with an offer of 1.5 million euros.

The entire country was instantly in uproar.

Should Shi Tian accept this contract?

In just one day, related discussions exceeded ten million!

On one hand, although Shi Tian is an important player for the Shanghai Port Team, his position has indeed been awkward this season as it was replaced by a foreign player, leaving him a bit sidelined.

On the other hand, a chance for a player from the National Team to venture out is rare, and the general opinion is supportive.

Finally, after communication with the Spanish, the Shanghai Port Team let Shi Tian go for a transfer fee of 2 million euros.

Shi Tian joined the La Liga Spanish team, becoming a symbolic player for the second wave of European adventures for Chinese football.

This is an event that will be recorded in Chinese football history.

However, when the media summed up the event, they discovered that the opportunity for Shi Tian to travel to Europe was essentially driven by Lu Yang’s push for cooperation between San Remo and domestic football clubs.

Shi Tian was just an accident.

But in the future, according to the cooperation agreement, more players are destined to emerge for European ventures.

For a time, some even called Lu Yang the ”Godfather of the future of Chinese football”!

This kind of title is really an exaggeration for Lu Yang.

Whether it can be truly deserved in the future is uncertain.

...

With the conclusion of the European Youth Championship and the start of many teams’ season training sessions, European football has entered a new period of anticipation again.

Evaluations, predictions, and so on for various teams, media, and fans are having a field day.

Various rankings are also being released during this period.

For instance, in this year’s Champions League championship predictions, last year Liverpool was nowhere in the top ten, but this year they’re directly ranked fourth.

This is the halo of the defending champion.

Indeed, in the Premier League championship predictions, Liverpool is even ranked second!

It must be noted that last year they were only fifth in the Premier League! Moreover, their squad, in last year’s predictions, was only ranked seventh in the Premier League!

Yet last year and this year, Liverpool’s squad has hardly changed!

This is what a championship can bring to a team.

Transformation!

And AC Milan, being last year’s runner-up, is clearly powerful with a complete squad, and even had some targeted reinforcements this summer. But in this year’s Champions League championship predictions, they are only ranked fifth!

Undoubtedly, this is looking down on them; two reversals of three-nil let the whole world see AC Milan’s embarrassment.

Many suggest Izalelt should transfer this summer, and Real Madrid has also extended an offer to Izalelt.

But Izalelt refused.

This is the only thing that comforts AC Milan fans.

Therefore, people no longer bother talking about Izalelt’s contract renewal.

Say no more, this year staying, Izalelt is already a real man, truly red and black!

You can’t ask for more.

At least, from this moment, rational fans have begun to make certain preparations for separation.

Extreme fans... let’s not talk about them.

Nothing good comes from extremes.

In Serie A this year, the championship prediction list looks more appealing compared to the previous two seasons.

Juventus completed a three consecutive Serie A titles last year, flourishing!

But last year’s Florence gave them enough pressure.

Indeed, if not for the advantage in the schedule, Florence might have overtaken Juventus.

So this year, a complete Florence, and an upgraded Rome, and AC Milan, which in fact boasts the strongest starting lineup in Serie A, all have a chance to challenge Juventus’ dominance.

Inter Milan just lost their first star player, but they have also been beefing up powerfully; the final results are yet to be known.

The Serie A second group, Lazio, Naples, Atlanta and other three strong teams, are also steadily getting stronger, all having the chance to break into the Champions League zone this season.

Whether they can make breakthroughs is also worth watching.

And the relegation battles between Serie A’s three promoted teams Brescia, Benevento, Chievo, and the Serie A relegation teams Verona, Pescara, Sassuolo, are also quite captivating, tugging at the hearts of countless fans.

Of course, the traditional powerhouses in Serie B: Monza, Perugia, Empoli, along with Sampdoria, Bologna, Vicenza who were relegated to Serie B, and the new forces in Serie B: San Remo, Allez, their tussle for the top three in Serie B standings is also frequently mentioned and closely watched.

Besides the champion and promotion rankings, Torino Sports Paper has released the latest Golden Boy Award rankings.

This has sparked another round of discussions throughout European Football.

The top of the list, no doubt, is still Enriquez.

Not only in the European Youth Championship, but in recent friendly matches he also performed increasingly well. As a young player of Real Madrid, he has started to exhibit the ”dominating” traits he previously lacked in games, but yet can pass and cooperate at the right time.

He is quickly moving towards the road of a super striker.

Real Madrid’s head coach bluntly stated that the European Youth Championship completely activated Enriquez, which is the greatest significance of this Championship!
