I AM the Football Star

Chapter 480: Chapter 132: Makabaka Stadium and the Croatian Tour Group_2

This is definitely a straightforward discount!

A four-star stadium, no doubt the ticket price would naturally be higher than the old Makabaka stadium.

The facilities, seating, services, ventilation, large screens, turf, etc., are all far superior to the Makabaka stadium, so a higher price is quite normal.

Season ticket holders are generally core fans, even if next season continues at the Makabaka stadium, even without discounts, they would still buy season tickets.

So this campaign is purely a concession to them.

Basically, as long as San Remo doesn’t get relegated this season, these fans can be said to have a big win.

Even... if San Remo miraculously achieves an incredible triple jump next season, then... the discount rate they receive will be even more exaggerated!

After all, Serie A tickets are not remotely comparable to Serie B.

This move can’t help but make two Premier League giants who also built new stadiums blush.

In terms of concessions to fans, San Remo is unrivaled.

...

Mainland.

”Beautiful! Very beautiful move, absolutely perfect... Lu Yang, can you pose for another freeze-frame shot? We’ll add special effects here, like bullet time... Yes, yes, OK! That’s a wrap!”

In a certain photo studio, Lu Yang was cooperating with the director to shoot advertisement materials.

After the shoot, Lu Yang clasped his hands together and greeted all the staff on site: ”Thank you everyone, thank you for your hard work, much appreciated...”

There’s no need to mention his politeness.

It’s not about details determining success or worrying about being criticized if things go wrong in the future.

It’s purely a reflection of personal quality, a natural result of mutual respect between people.

This is an advertisement shoot for HXLT.

After the European Youth Championship, Lu Yang did not return to Italy with the team but went directly to the mainland with Elder Tang to begin his soon-to-end summer break as a football player!

While it’s called a vacation, it’s actually more about shooting commercials and participating in brand-arranged events.

Consider it a sort of indirect relaxation.

Vacation time is very important for professional athletes.

Some players significantly improve their skills over the summer.

Some players noticeably beef up in one summer.

But some players, indulging in eating, drinking, and gaming, noticeably gain 10 or 20 pounds, while their internal physical fitness actually declines substantially.

These all relate to how players manage their summer breaks.

But Lu Yang doesn’t need any extra training.

While others are resting or doing extra practice, he was participating in the European Youth Championship.

The training and match volumes are more than adequate.

So, in the coming period, he only needs to rest well.

In fact, calling it a period is a stretch; it’s only a few days.

It’s already August.

And by the latest, around the tenth of August, Lu Yang must return to the team for pre-season training.

Considering Lu Yang still has a fair bit of work and social events lined up, these days are especially precious to him, with every day packed to the brim with schedules.

Because Lu Yang doesn’t have familiar friends in the mainland, Tang Yuqin has been serving as his guide and even as something of a secretary during this time.

Luckily, the ”Super Football” documentary has four episodes, allowing Tang Yuqin to accompany Lu Yang.

Of course, she has her reasons to be here.

This summer, Tang Yuqin and Lu Yang have another very important task, that is... to assist the Italian Football Association and Sanremo Football Club in implementing relevant collaborations in the mainland.

”How are the shoes? I heard that shoes are very important for athletes,” Tang Yuqin asked after coming over, ”HXLT values their cooperation with you very much and expressed willingness to modify the shoes based on your opinions.”

”They plan to release a flagship shoe of your own at the beginning of next year.”

Since Lu Yang doesn’t have an agent in the mainland and doesn’t feel he needs one, these days, Tang Yuqin running around with him has led many to mistakenly think she is Lu Yang’s agent.

Tang Yuqin doesn’t put on airs and genuinely discusses Lu Yang’s work and other matters with those people.

”The shoes are fine for matches, their quality is quite well done. But the design is outdated, even a bit tacky, and such shoes would have certain difficulties being promoted abroad,” Lu Yang said. ”I’ll send you some design sketches tonight, and please communicate with them to see if they can create the shoe design I’m asking for while ensuring quality...”

Lu Yang and Tang Yuqin got into the car while discussing.

Soon, they arrived at another place, Shanghai Stadium.

Here, a celebrity match was to be held.

The participants were mainly retired National Team players and some entertainment stars who love football.

The event drew a fair amount of attention.

Such celebrity matches existed before, but the awkward part was that the fans of those National Team veterans were not plentiful. In past matches of this kind, few people crowded into the stadium, mainly star fans.

Though it’s clearly a football match, in the end, it lacks professionalism, turning into a star-chasing event.

It can be said that football as a sport has been utterly humiliated in the mainland.

Local fans have been suffering from entertainment circle fans for a long time!

Such a situation would never occur in football-rich areas like Europe or South America.

But this year, real fans were noticeably more.

Because today, far more fans attended than the mere three to five thousand from previous celebrity matches.

About more than thirty thousand fans instead, occupying nearly half of Shanghai Stadium.
