I AM the Football Star

Chapter 485: Chapter 133: San Remo Player Buying Guide (Part 3)

This situation, this price, you can only say that San Remo is... crazy.

A European Youth Championship, definitely not worth this price.

Besides... Lam’s performance in this European Youth Championship was... unspeakable.

He’s almost one of the lowest-rated players in the Italy National Youth Team.

Pirola, another center-back, although his speed in turning was severely exploited, but his strong points like frontal defense, organizational skills, and aerial ability were also demonstrated, making his advantages and disadvantages clear, and his value steadily increased.

Lam, on the other hand, was mediocre.

Not only did his speed advantage not show up against top-tier attackers, but he was physically overwhelmed by Pavovsky. His defensive ability was inferior to Pirola, and he was overshadowed by Mancini and Enriquez, and he’s only 1.85 meters tall, making him very weak on aerial balls.

After the match, he was basically the only player whose value decreased rather than increased in the Italy National Youth Team, which is just ridiculous!

San Remo went through the Italy National Youth Team’s roster, and ended up buying such a loss, simply... accurately ruled out all the correct answers and bought the wrong one.

Unbelievable.

...

”Ding! You led the team to win the European Youth Championship, and earned the European Youth Championship big gift pack!”

”Ding! You received 3 Basic Points, 1 Essence Point, and a Beckham Moment Card!”

Because Lu Yang has been busy recently, he is only now opening the European Youth Championship big gift pack.

Don’t mention it, holding off for a while really did improve the odds.

The Beckham Moment Card...

Lu Yang couldn’t be more satisfied.

Now he’s holding a Messi + Beckham combo, just ask who else is there!

These two Moment Cards are enough to allow him to turn the tables in any match!

As for adding points, Lu Yang gave all three Basic Points to Short Pass, raising his Short Pass from 74 to 80.

After all, Short Pass is a player’s most used skill, increasing it is all benefit and no harm.

As for the Essence Point, Lu Yang gave it to Speed, raising Speed from 80 to 81.

Since there’s a star barrier, Lu Yang will increase top-tier stats to around eighty-three, leaving some room for the Moment Cards to avoid prematurely experiencing data overflow.

This is yet another life tip, zero-spending players have to worry about things like this.

Paying players don’t have to worry about this, they can just max out the stats they want, who cares about overflow or not.

After receiving the gift pack, Lu Yang is in a great mood, and even feels better about greeting incoming flights.

Coincidentally, at this time, a foreign friend appeared at the airport exit.

”Hey, Lam!” Lu Yang waved his hand.

Lam saw Lu Yang, his eyes lit up, and the gloom in his heart dispersed quite a bit.

Yes, Lam is here!

Announced in the morning, flew over in the afternoon, Lam expressed his mood with his attitude.

As a Liverpool youth player, his career at Liverpool was not successful. At least, he couldn’t stay in Liverpool’s first team, which is indisputable.

In fact, he was quite unlucky.

The head coach originally told him to go out and gain experience last season, and if the effect was good, he would start joining Liverpool’s first team and playing as a substitute rotation this season, and then gradually take over Liverpool’s current defense line next season, becoming one of the starters.

Lam’s speed is still very important in the Premier League.

However, fate is decided by the heavens.

Just as Liverpool was about to fall from a top-tier Premier League team to a first-rate team, they instead won a Champions League title!

They even took home a Champions League title!

The management, aren’t you going to strengthen the team further and bring in some more stars?

If you need defenders, I’m not saying the world’s number-one center-back, but bringing in several at Bernulin’s level should be doable, right?

If you can exchange from other strong teams for star defenders in their prime, that would be even better!

Fans’ expectations have already reached this threshold, at this time, do you think they’ll be satisfied if you promote a youth player?

Lam can play as a substitute in upper-tier Premier League teams, but to be a substitute in top-tier teams, Champions League champions, that’s... not quite good enough.

Moreover, the head coach and management can’t handle this pressure, recklessly using rookies when the team has reached its peak is something that teams only do during downward trends or troughs.

Thus, Lam’s bright future was instantly shattered.

He either got loaned out again or simply sat on the bench for a year, reality was cruel as hell.

Luckily, at this time San Remo came to the rescue and took Lam away.

Lam is not picky now, a Serie B team fits him perfectly, especially since San Remo has the Europa League this year, not much worse than top teams in the Portuguese Super League or Eredivisie.

But unexpectedly, the media lashed out at this deal from San Remo, all thinking San Remo bought the wrong person.

Could Lam be in a good mood?

”Brother, you came at just the right time!” Lu Yang gave Lam a warm hug.

Lam’s eyes reddened, almost tearing up.

Brother Lu is the best!

Everyone looks down on me, but Brother Lu understands me, he knows how great a center-back I will be!

Just when Lam was thinking this, Lu Yang whispered in Lam’s ear: ”I know those rumors affected you, relax, although your conditions make it hard to be an excellent center-back, at other positions, you might blossom even more brightly?”

Lam dies!

Two hours later, Lam completed signing with the team, and then went to Sotu’s temporary office at Shanggang, only then did he realize, Brother Lu wasn’t joking.

San Remo bought him, it seems... they really weren’t aiming for him as a center-back.
