I AM the Football Star

Chapter 459: Chapter 127: The Diamond Generation

Business is business, agreements are agreements.

If there’s a breach of contract, a refund is the least you’d expect, which is very normal.

Morici doesn’t aim to extort a penny from others, but others shouldn’t expect to extort a penny from him either.

This is called professional ethics and principles!

”What three minutes, half an hour?” Maniero walked in at this moment and patted Morici on the shoulder, ”Morici, I need you to operate efficiently for ninety minutes for the team, you cannot drop the ball.”

Morici had a look of MMP.

You know nothing!

”Okay, is everyone here?” Maniero signaled everyone to find their places, and then he opened the computer and projector to start today’s meeting.

Generally speaking, team players also need to take some technical video lessons, tactical lessons, to improve their understanding of the tactics from the head coach.

This part can be challenging for players with low education levels.

They can execute the head coach’s explicit tactics, but they may not understand the significance and changes of their positions.

From this perspective, one has to admit that players who have studied a bit have an advantage.

Education might not have brought substantial effects on their future life and work, but it has trained their ability to accept new knowledge. People with problems in this ability can’t progress to the advanced stages in traditional education.

Of course, there are many smart people, even smarter ones, among those who have not received a higher education.

So this is not a universal conclusion, it’s just a matter of statistics and probability.

”Germany’s youth training has been the most successful in recent years.” Maniero started, ”And due to the special nature of the Bundesliga, they are among the few teams that can seamlessly integrate youth training, clubs, and national teams.”

”German youth players emphasize discipline and tactics, which has similarities to Italian youth training in recent times. But the difference is, German league clubs are willing to give their youth training room to develop.”

”The Italian League, mainly Serie A, has been the world’s top league for a long time in the past. It has the best stars, the best teams, and intense competition here, so young people find it hard to establish themselves.”

”Over time, Italian youth training lost the opportunity to play in Serie A and had to go to lower-level leagues or other leagues, affecting their development.”

”Additionally, the Germany’s senior national team heavily selects players from their own league clubs or even extensively recruits players from Bayern Munich, which makes their players more cohesive in terms of teamwork.”

”They only need to follow the traditional 4231 formation of Bayern Munich, allowing national team players to seamlessly integrate and perform at high levels as if they were in club matches.”

This capability is something other national teams cannot achieve.

Even in Spain and England, in the era of an abundance of stars, although the players in each position are excellent and mostly play in La Liga or the Premier League, it must be admitted that the styles of teams in these two leagues vary greatly.

When you summon players from clubs with various styles, it’s obviously not easy to have them mesh together.

Whereas Germany almost summons players from the same club, just ask how other countries can compete!

Even if the senior team has some superstars to slightly weaken the German team’s dominance, on the youth team side, the German team’s advantage is even more apparent.

Because young star players obviously do not reach the level of superstars, it’s hard for them to change the outcome of matches single-handedly.

So this German team, although lacking superstars, is very hard to deal with.

Theoretically, this German team embodies what the Italy National Youth Team has idealized over the years.

If the Italy National Youth Team met all conditions, the team they developed would be similar to this German team.

But just the fact that most of them play in the Bundesliga already surpasses the Italy National Youth Team.

Not many can play in Serie A here.

”4231 is a formation that is very strong in both offense and defense, with the presence of five midfielders allowing them to handle ball control with ease.” Maniero clicked on a specific image of the German Youth National Team, ”Their cohesion allows them to minimize their error rate! In the next match, there’s no doubt they will greatly lead us in terms of ball possession.”

”But this formation also has its issues. It demands a lot from the two full-backs, requiring them to be both offensive and defensive. However, the German team’s two full-backs can only be considered as balanced in offense and defense at most.”

”Sevajos, Pompey, you two wingers have a very important task in the next match, which is to keep an eye on their full-backs in their half, not allowing them to advance easily.”

”Lu Yang, you and Versachi, what you need to do is to immediately curb the advance of their full-backs. Do not allow them to join the runs into the attacking third.”

”If this situation arises, you and our two full-backs must clearly divide the roles: who defends the flank, who defends the cut-in!”

”Speaking of cut-ins, this is their second weakness in attack. Their two wingers are decent in ability, seemingly good in crossing, cutting in, and shooting, but in my view, their wingers lack the most important thing... impact!”

”Cut-ins and flank play without impact are insufficient to create real threats. As long as our defensive line is in a state of readiness, it will be hard for their wingers to have a standout performance.”
