I AM the Football Star

Chapter 276: Chapter 92: I’m Really Not the Mafia—The World Turns Toward Loyalty (15,000-Word Mega Chapter)

Shouldn’t there be a free kick into the penalty area, and then wait for teammates to score?

But Lu Yang didn’t have any objections to Belletti’s shot.

The guy can only play for twenty minutes in total, so is it not alright to try with a good shot?

Moreover, Belletti’s technique is very good, almost comparable to Morici’s, so he’s fully qualified to try scoring from a free kick.

Bam!

The opponent’s goalkeeper is focused, barely stopping the football.

But due to the strong spin of the ball, he made an error when blocking it, and the football didn’t fly far but bounced back within the small penalty area.

Lu Yang rushed in from the outside, too late to brake, hitting the football with his chest, then charging all the way into the opponent’s goal with the ball.

The Novara Goalkeeper angrily slammed his gloves.

This goal, better off not playing!

Using the chest to push the ball can also score.

Is this a circus performance?

Today God wants San Remo to win, who can do anything?

The first half ends.

San Remo leads three to zero.

In the second half, Belletti and Fernandez switch places, this is Sotu’s adjustment, he hopes Fernandez can also adapt to playing on the left side.

He needs to have versatility on both sides, to prepare for future rotations.

After seventy minutes, Belletti apparently couldn’t run anymore, becoming the focus of the opponent’s attack.

In the eightieth minute, Novara seized the opportunity to score a goal.

Belletti immediately apologized to Lu Yang and the defenders, the lost goal was due to him losing possession, and he lacked the stamina to participate in defense.

Everyone understood Belletti and didn’t blame him.

After all, you’re asking BYD to run at Formula 1 speed, it’s not BYD’s lack of effort but rather that the target set for him was incorrect.

After the game, Sotu was besieged by reporters once again.

The biggest question everyone wanted to know was, with wingers constantly getting injured, would Sotu still keep Becher’s on the bench?

This question almost made Sotu choke.

Use?

Then what about Sotu’s pride?

Becher’s obviously hasn’t adjusted his attitude.

Don’t use?

Then what about the team’s performance?

Moreover, this could further increase pressure on other wingers, causing a new wave of injuries.

Sotu is in a dilemma.

This situation, frankly, is quite similar to Lu Yang’s previous experience.

Directly give Becher’s a thunderous blow, let teammates isolate Becher’s, it makes Lu Yang seem intolerant, even if Lu Yang ignores external opinions, there might be teammates who have objections.

But if you don’t deal with Becher’s, he becomes excessively arrogant, even disrupting the whole.

Solving Becher’s isn’t difficult, the challenge is to stand on the moral high ground, make the teammates indignant too, act justifiably, use this as an opportunity to strengthen control and prestige within the team.

So Lu Yang took about three to five matches to completely resolve Becher’s issue.

That’s considered fast.

In some teams, such issues can last for an entire season, even two or three seasons.

Cavani and Neymar’s strife, Eevee and Messi, Son Heung-min and Lloris, C Luo and Van Nistelrooy, which of these aren’t soap operas? Which didn’t last half a year, or even two or three years?

It’s just that Lu Yang is in the Italian Third Division, not afraid of minor rumors, and Becher’s agent isn’t really a formidable agent, lacking tricks, influence limited to San Remo’s management level, Scott.

If the platform were bigger, both backgrounds and strengths stronger, the trouble would last, only long, not short.

But now, Lu Yang solved his problem, and Sotu faced a similar issue in his head coach career.

Lu Yang proved his authority as the second captain and team leader.

Sotu must also prove his absolute authority as head coach in the Becher’s and Scott issue.

Therefore, he absolutely cannot bow his head.

It’s a headache-inducing problem.

...

Lu Yang and Sotu have a closeness rating of 99.

Sotu has always supported and nurtured Lu Yang unreservedly.

Seeing Sotu’s current predicament, Lu Yang took Morici and Naji at dusk to a certain bar in San Remo.

He had to do something for Sotu.

Naji is a local, well-connected, asked the boss and found the room where Becher’s was.

When Lu Yang pushed the door open, Becher’s was flirting with hot girls, real deal, oh no, genuine, not just one, quite a show.

”Sorry, ladies, I have some words for my good friend Becher’s, please excuse us for a moment.” Lu Yang said, and Naji took out a stack of banknotes.

The meaning was clear, leave this place, then split the money.

With a £350,000 annual salary, one can afford some hefty tips.

This is probably Lu Yang’s largest single spending to date, being spent on those socialites, really feels like a twist of fate.

There aren’t many brainless tycoons in San Remo, so the girls quickly took the money and left.

Then Morici and Naji left the room, guarding the door outside.

”What do you want?” Becher’s appeared somewhat nervous, familiar with scenes like this from Italian movies.

No wonder Lu, being so young, could become the leader player of San Remo, he’s actually a member of the Mafia?

”Don’t worry, I won’t lay a hand, just have a heart-to-heart chat with a new player colleague.” Lu Yang sat beside Becher’s, poured himself a glass of 82-year-old cola, and raised his glass, ”From your demeanor, you seem unclear about your situation. To prevent you from wasting three years of your youth, there are some things I, as captain, have to say.”
