I AM the Football Star

Chapter 264: Chapter 89: Pass Me That Damn Ball!

But to make someone as rational as Lu Yang lose his temper in the game, that Becher’s is really not just generally annoying.

If it were up to him, Talista guaranteed that he wouldn’t give this Becher’s a chance to appear in this match.

It’s not that hard to break a teammate’s leg in a training match!

San Remo’s players all changed direction and ran towards Lu Yang and Becher’s.

”I told you to pass the ball, did you hear me?” Lu Yang kept repeating this sentence.

”Why should I pass to you? I had a chance to shoot myself!” Becher’s argued.

”What chance did you have? We almost conceded another goal because of your selfishness!” Lu Yang’s neck veins popped out, restraining himself from the urge to beat up Becher’s, ”How many times have I told you to pass to me today, and how many times did you actually do it?”

”If you don’t know how to play soccer, I can teach you, but you can’t be selfish enough to joke about the team’s honor. Do you know how much effort we’ve put in to get this far?”

Lu Yang continued to push forward against Becher’s.

Becher’s, not as tall or strong as Lu Yang, was almost being pushed backward with his head by Lu Yang, looking extremely embarrassed.

”Rondo is thirty-five years old. He’s riddled with injuries and plays as a full-back, which he’s not good at, for the team’s needs. During the winter break, his doctor told him he couldn’t keep playing like this, or he’d spend the rest of his life with a cane! Do you know that? You don’t!”

Lu Yang’s voice was loud.

Rondo, sitting on the sidelines, was stunned. How did Lu Yang know about this?

”Two matches ago, Naji’s grandmother passed away and was buried. He didn’t attend because he had to fight for the team! Do you know that? You still don’t!” Lu Yang reached back, stopping the teammates who had arrived from pulling him away.

Naji, who was at the front, stopped, his eyes reddening.

”Today is Latu Yidi’s daughter’s birthday. He promised to take her to the amusement park.” Lu Yang continued pressing on Becher’s, ”Fernandez felt unwell in the last cup match, but he endured the pain and kept fighting, just to go further with the team!”

”Bai Zhami’s dribbling is not worse than yours, but he never plays like you, because he’s afraid of messing up the coordination with his teammates, and he’s worried about bringing negativity to the team.”

”Sogel retreated for you, Versachi stretched for you, I covered for you, we all did so without complaint, but what about you? Have you ever passed to us? Are you the only one who can shoot? Are we not able?”

”Are you the only one who can shoot? Don’t you think any one of us can?”

”Once I’m past the midfield, I can pose a threat with a random kick, believe it or not! Isn’t that better than just giving away possession to the opponent?”

”Morici, during his injury, kept track of every match the team played. Many of the team videos we’ve analyzed were made by him. He hopes we go further.”

”And we promised Morici, promised Sotu, promised Russell, promised every fan that this season we would go further in the Italian Cup! Do you understand?”

Becher’s face turned beet red.

Part of it was because he was being pushed along by Lu Yang, making him extremely embarrassed and humiliating.

On the other hand, Lu Yang’s words and those people and events made Becher’s feel ashamed.

Compared to them, he was indeed too selfish.

The key is, he’s squandering not even something that belongs to him.

The fifth round of the Italian Cup is the result of everyone’s effort at San Remo, yet it has little to do with Becher’s.

”Enough!” Becher’s finally moved, pushing Lu Yang away, trying to yell a few words.

But he couldn’t do it.

Lu Yang merely swayed slightly, while Becher’s instead stumbled, unable to steady himself.

Bang!

Becher’s action enraged Lu Yang, and Lu Yang also extended his hands, pushing Becher’s.

Becher’s, whose center of gravity was already unstable, was directly toppled to the ground by Lu Yang.

”Now, pass that damn ball to me! To me! Do you understand, damn it!” Lu Yang clenched his fists, his back slightly arched, standing above, face red and with veins bulging, like a man-eating lion.

At this moment, he looked more like a beast than Talista, the beastly striker.

He roared wildly!

”Pass that damn ball to me!”
