I Am Not A Goblin Slayer

Chapter 429: Chapter 257: Clear Sword Resonance_3

She didn’t pay attention to these trivial details, but continued to comment and instruct Gauss.

”The essence of the falcon strike is to concentrate all your strength and willpower at the tip of the sword, moving forward with unstoppable force and exploding in an instant. Your momentum seemed good just now, but you made a mistake in exerting force the moment you started moving.”

As she spoke, she took a step forward.

The incredibly swift motion of that tall figure made one’s breath catch.

”Do you feel the difference?”

”Your shoulders are too tense.”

”This will cause your subsequent force to be not smooth, only using brute force, yet unable to perfectly integrate all your strength.”

”Here! Here! Here! And here! All have issues.”

She extended her finger, pointing through the air at Gauss’s waist and abdomen, scapula, elbow, and wrist.

With each point, though there was no contact, Gauss’s corresponding areas tingled slightly, and he clearly perceived the specific locations she indicated.

”This set of sword skills was taught to you by Adelle?”

”Yes.”

”Then she didn’t teach it well.” Rachel shook her head.

”Watch carefully, I’ll demonstrate it once for you.”

”Alright.” Gauss nodded, holding his breath and focusing, his gaze tightly locked on Rachel.

She casually picked up a training rapier from the weapon rack nearby.

Gauss could clearly feel the surging energy around her instantly retract, and the booming life energy and power fluctuations were forcibly suppressed, bringing her physical condition to a level almost identical to Gauss’s.

It sounded incredible, but she indeed achieved it.

By relying on an extremely detailed control of her body.

Then, without any sensational momentum, without dazzling light,

she just seemingly casually rushed forward two steps, giving her wrist a shake.

The training sword pierced through the air, producing an extremely brief, sharp tearing sound.

The surrounding air seemed to explode as if hit by a sonic boom.

The very small area of air in front of the sword tip was compressed to the limit, and then burst open!

All the power, will, kinetic energy, and potential energy were perfectly restrained to one point.

”Hiss—”

Immediately distinguish high from low!

The gap between her and himself, Gauss naturally could see.

”Do you understand?”

Rachel retracted her sword and looked at Gauss, asking.

Gauss didn’t answer immediately, instead closing his eyes.

In his mind, he repeatedly replayed each detail of Rachel’s sword strike just now.

It was a state, where rather than solely emphasizing the explosion of power, what he needed more was to twist all his strength into one strand, and then find ways to enhance the explosive force of each part.

He then recalled his own movements, repeatedly comparing them with Rachel’s in his mind.

After a long time, he slowly opened his eyes.

”I...seem to understand a bit.”

Gauss attempted to stab out with a sword.

The sword jabbed into the air.

This strike, let alone reaching the level Rachel just demonstrated, in terms of destructive power and momentum, was even far inferior to his own previous strike.

But Rachel repeatedly nodded.

”Yes, just like that. As expected, you’re a talented genius, you grasp it in an instant.”

Gauss’s hand didn’t pause because of Rachel’s praise, continuing to practice, searching for the feeling.

Rachel’s strength was formidable, even though she didn’t master the White Falcon Sword Skill, she was still able to observe Gauss’s technique and body condition, providing him with detailed guidance.

After a period of time.

Suddenly, he stabbed out with a sword.

”Swoosh!!!”

The sword tip, condensed with white light, also emitted a sonic boom.

”Succeeded!”

And it was not just a simple sonic boom.

A beam of white light shot out along the sword tip.

”White Falcon Sword Skill Level 3 (5/50)”

The skill proficiency suddenly increased by several points, breaking through Level 3.

And at the same time.

Inside Gauss, an unprecedented feeling was flowing out from within!

That elusive hidden thing was finally awakened completely by this perfect falcon strike.

A powerful aura burst out from deep within the body!

This aura was neither magic power nor mere flesh and blood power.

But a sharp energy, with a will to cut through everything.

Along his arm’s meridians, like hundreds of rivers flowing into the sea, it frantically converged towards the sword-wielding right hand and onto the blade of the Zephyr Sword!

”Buzz—!”
