Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 1141: Chapter 816: Temporal Repulsion_3

”Is there an envelope inside?” Viktor asked again.

”Envelope?” Jafar stammered, ”I, I don’t know, I’ve been busy copying textbooks... haven’t had time to look yet.”

”Then go find it!” Viktor said in a deep voice.

Jafar ran off as if escaping.

”Professor... what is that envelope?”

”Let’s talk about that later, stay quiet for now.” Viktor sat there, scribbling something quickly on a piece of parchment.

Although Kael was curious, he didn’t dare to disturb him at this moment.

After about five minutes, Jafar returned, panting, holding a common envelope from the Owl Post Office.

”Professor... is this what you meant?” After running back and forth three times, he gasped and placed the item on the table.

”That’s right, this is it.” Viktor looked up, ”Taking the professor’s things without permission, copy a hundred more times.”

Jafar’s face turned pale.

”Professor... I, I didn’t do it on purpose...”

”If you did it on purpose, it wouldn’t be just copying books.”

Jafar hurried over and left with heavy footsteps. If given another chance, he would certainly not bother that British person this afternoon... no, he wouldn’t even come to the Alchemy Classroom.

After he walked away, Viktor sealed the classroom again.

He opened the envelope and began speaking to himself: ”I haven’t paid attention to the outside world for a long time because I’ve been writing new textbooks.

”But do you know why I suddenly noticed that Albus hasn’t appeared in a long time?”

”Because you two are close?” Kael whispered.

”No, our relationship is limited to academic exchange, not that close.” Viktor shook his head, ”The reason I paid attention to him is because I received this.”

He opened the envelope and took out a... golden pocket watch.

”Clang...”

Kael suddenly stood up and knocked over the chair behind him.

”Time Turner!”

He knew very well what this was, he had it for a long time until he gave it to Dumbledore a month ago.

This was the Time Turner repaired by Nicolas Flamel.

Only now it’s broken again, covered in cracks, and the once dazzling gold has become dull.

”But... how is it here?” Kael asked.

”That’s what I don’t understand either,” Viktor said, ”When I received this thing, I thought it was sent by Nicolas, and I contacted him immediately.

”But he told me that the Time Turner had already been given to you, and in my memory, it was repaired.

”So I concluded that it was a joke from Nicolas...”

”Don’t look at me with that expression.” Viktor explained: ”He often does this, splits completed things apart, sends them to me again, and recombines them with entirely different Magic Text Formulas, it’s a little game between us.”

”Little game?” Kael tugged at his mouth.

Although Magic Text Formulas can vary infinitely, using two completely different formulas to achieve the same effect is almost impossible.

”Don’t interrupt, let me finish.” Viktor said coldly, Kael immediately shut his mouth.

”But I recently needed to write textbooks and didn’t have time to deal with it, so I casually tossed it aside.

”I didn’t notice then, but thinking back now, I probably threw it into the students’ failed assignments.”

”Then was it picked up by that student?”

”That’s right, because the Alchemy Materials are expensive, they have the habit of studying failed products, which maximizes the avoidance of waste.” Viktor said.

I had completely forgotten about this matter until I met you and remembered again, and during dinner I asked Olympe some things about Albus.

”I felt something was off at the time, that’s why I called you over.”

Under his gaze, Kael felt somewhat guilty.

”Luckily I asked one more question; this should be the original Time Turner.”

”Yeah.” Kael nodded.

Fortunately, he also asked one more question, otherwise, if Viktor continued misunderstanding and thought that Dumbledore hadn’t returned, who knows where this thing might have been tossed.

If you wanted to find it again then, it might not be so easy.
