Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 1128: Chapter 812: Reunion After a Long Separation (Part 2)

”Ministry of Magic inspection, please open the door and cooperate.” Kael cleared his throat and said.

Inside the shop, there was a sudden sound of hurried footsteps, but soon it went silent again.

A few minutes later, accompanied by a creak, the door was opened.

Conna seemed to have just woken up, her hair looked hastily tidied, but her face was full of surprise.

”Kael!” Her voice carried a hint of disbelief, but she instinctively rushed forward.

Kael quickly opened his arms to catch her, after a long separation, they just hugged at the shop’s entrance.

At this moment, neither cared about the gaze of passersby, they just embraced each other, unwilling to let go, then Kael felt his lips touch a piece of sweet creamy pudding.

No one knew how much time had passed, maybe ten minutes, maybe an hour, or even longer.

”Hey, that’s enough.” Another voice came from inside the shop, ”I can understand your feelings, but can you come inside first, standing there isn’t tiring for you?”

Despite Fleur being a Half-Veela, Kael still felt her voice must have been cursed by a witch, it was too piercing... though she herself was a witch.

”Aren’t French people known for being romantic?” Kael said discontentedly, looking at Fleur leaning against the shelf, ”Why are you so troublesome?”

”Do you hear what you’re saying?” Fleur exploded instantly, speaking in frustration, ”Consider my situation, I left my boyfriend behind, traveled a long distance to accompany Conna, and you say I’m troublesome?”

The more Fleur thought about it, the angrier she became. When she and Bill were separated, they were in the heat of passion, even contemplating marriage.

As a result, Kael, this jerk, not only didn’t thank her for leaving her fiancé to help him care for his girlfriend but also said such unconscionable things.

She seemed about to transform, grabbing a bottle of Magic Potion to fight Kael, luckily Conna stopped her.

Conna also snapped out of her initial surprise at seeing Kael.

”Calm down, calm down, don’t stoop to his level.” She soothed an erupting Fleur, simultaneously glaring at Kael.

”Alright, I apologize.” Kael quickly raised both hands to surrender... when in Rome.

”To express my apologies.” He took out the prepared gift, ”This is for you.”

”What is this thing?” Fleur’s mood steadied somewhat, picking up the bottle on the table, ”Why does it look so much like shampoo?”

”Pretty much.” Kael said, ”Newt researched Veelas, these Magical Creatures tend to shed fur easily in autumn, I thought since you have half-Veela blood, you might also lose hair, so I used Ginger Root, Cloak Grass and Mandrake juices to research this hair care...”

Before Kael could finish, a bottle flew over, brushing his ear and smashing into the wall behind him, even Conna didn’t stop it.

Maybe she didn’t intend to stop it.

Being able to enrage the normally aloof Fleur to this extent, a hit wasn’t undeserved, though it was a pity about the Vitality Potion.

Conna sighed and closed the shop door again.

When the room fell silent again, it was twenty minutes later, Fleur sat there panting heavily, glaring fiercely at Kael.

But interestingly, the objects Kael brought were nowhere to be seen on the table.

”Spill it, why are you in France at this time?”

”Wait!” At that, Conna suddenly reacted, ”Why did you suddenly come here, is there something in the United Kingdom...”

”Relax, nothing’s wrong over there, You-Know-Who and his Death Eaters are up to something, few have seen them recently.”

”Moreover, Hogwarts has opened as usual, so I thought I’d come to see you.” Kael said, waving his hand, the shattered items quickly restored themselves, floating back to their original positions.

This was the Shop Street for wizards, all the passersby were wizards, using magic here was completely fine.

”By the way, how did you know it was me outside.” He asked casually.

When Conna opened the door earlier, she didn’t hesitate to rush out, clearly she knew in advance it was Kael outside.

”Of course I knew.” Conna laughed, ”If it was a French wizard, they couldn’t say such awkward French.”

”Is my French really that bad?” Kael scratched his head, he felt his pronunciation was pretty standard.

”My sister, at ten months, spoke better than you.” Fleur sneered.

”Alright.” Kael sighed, ”I should have made a translator, this trip was really inconvenient.”

”How did you get here, a Portkey?” Conna poured Kael a cup of cherry soda, a popular drink in France, as popular as Pumpkin Juice in the United Kingdom.

”No, I didn’t use a Portkey.” Kael explained, ”Fawkes brought me here, this way I could avoid the Ministry of Magic’s attention.”

”Fawkes...” Conna blinked, ”Professor Dumbledore’s Phoenix?”

”Yes, I must say, it’s really convenient.” Kael rubbed his forehead, ”Though the process wasn’t friendly.”

Even with Fleur sitting next to him, Kael didn’t intend to hide it from her. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Fleur’s character was trustworthy.

Moreover, it’s foreseeable that Fleur and Bill are bound to get married eventually, by then she’ll naturally become part of the Order of Phoenix, so no need to hide things.

It’s just that Fleur wasn’t particularly interested in the Phoenix topic; she was focused on another matter.
