Hogwarts: I Am an Exemplary Wizard

Chapter 756: Chapter 687: The Hidden Part of the Prophecy (3)

”Moreover, more importantly, Neville and Kael are pure-blood wizards, only you and Voldemort are half-blood... Oh right, because your mother Lily Evans came from a Muggle family, strictly speaking, you don’t count as a true pure-blood.”

”I know that,” Harry said, because of some people from Slytherin, he didn’t want to be a pure-blood wizard anyway.

”But what does this have to do with me being half-blood?”

”Because Voldemort is also half-blood,” Dumbledore said, ”although he always believed that only pure-bloods are true wizards, his father was indeed a Muggle, which I’m sure you know.

”Perhaps because of the same identity, he saw himself in you.”

”Me and Voldemort, the same?” Harry just felt colder, even a bit stiff.

”It’s just what he thinks,” Dumbledore said, ”We all know, you are completely different from Voldemort.”

Impossible, that’s absolutely impossible!

Harry didn’t hear what Dumbledore said, he was just frantically denying this notion in his heart and trying to find more favorable evidence.

”Oh, prophecy...” He suddenly thought of something, and shouted loudly, ”When the crystal ball broke earlier, we heard something, but the content was completely different from what we just heard, you must be mistaken.”

”Oh?” Dumbledore showed a surprised expression for the first time. ℯ

”What did you hear?”

Harry recalled carefully, ”It seemed to be, at the time to determine victory or defeat, a new someone will appear...

”It was too chaotic with screaming everywhere, I didn’t hear the rest, but you can ask Kael and Mr. Weasley, they were also nearby.”

Dumbledore didn’t speak, just stared at the Pensieve, seemingly deep in thought.

”Professor,” Harry asked cautiously, ”You’re definitely mistaken, right? The content we heard just now didn’t include that sentence.”

”Harry, the strange thing is, that sentence actually exists,” Dumbledore waved the golem again, and the figure that had disappeared appeared again on the Pensieve.

”The one with the ability to defeat the Dark Lord approaches...”

The same words again, Harry was about to say something when he saw Dumbledore shake his head.

”Wait, keep listening, stay quiet.”

Harry could only shut his mouth and continue waiting.

After a moment, he saw the figure open its mouth again, but only emitted a buzzing sound like bees.

”What did she say?” Harry couldn’t help but ask.

”I don’t know,” Dumbledore said. ”Because that’s the content I heard, this part of the prophecy is hidden.”

”Prophecies can be hidden.”

”Of course they can.” Dumbledore walked to the window, muttering, ”I was puzzled before, but I eventually understood.

”This prophecy is like the Black Lake, I saw it in winter, so I could only see part of it, as for what’s beneath the lake, you’ll have to wait until spring when the ice melts to find out.”

”Is it time?” Harry asked uncertainly.

”That’s right,” Dumbledore said, ”only when time reaches a certain point, will this prophecy be complete.

”You really don’t remember what was said afterwards?”

Harry struggled to recall for a while longer, ”Sorry, Professor... It was truly chaotic then.”

”No problem,” Dumbledore shook his head, ”Perhaps we are destined not to hear the complete prophecy.”

The Headmaster’s Office fell silent again.

But unlike before, Harry noticed the people in the paintings were no longer pretending to sleep but were whispering to each other, clearly interested in the so-called prophecy.

After a long while, Harry heard a noisy sound coming from somewhere outside the Headmaster’s Office, probably people preparing to go to the auditorium for lunch.

Realizing this, Harry suddenly felt somewhat hungry.

Because of all the doubts in his heart, he hadn’t eaten breakfast and now felt light-headed and weak.

”Oh, has it been that long?” Dumbledore turned and said, ”If you have nothing else, you can go to the auditorium for lunch. There’s fried pork chops and custard fruit pies, which I personally quite enjoy. But don’t eat too much, remember you have to participate in the competition this afternoon.”

”Competition?”

”The Quidditch match,” Dumbledore said, ”Did you forget? This afternoon is the Gryffindor vs Hufflepuff final; the match’s outcome will also determine who takes the Quidditch Cup.”

”Oh!” Harry exclaimed.

He remembered, the match was supposed to be at the beginning of June but was rescheduled to after exams for some unknown reason.

”Goodbye, Professor.” Harry immediately ran out, but just as he was about to leave, he suddenly stopped, turned around, and asked, ”Professor, can Ron be released from the hospital early? He’s our Gryffindor Keeper.”

”You should ask Madam Pomfrey,” Dumbledore said, ”Though I doubt she will agree, so you better select a new Keeper.

Moreover, Weasley was tormented by the Crucio Curse, so even if he is discharged, he probably won’t recover to his best state anytime soon.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Harry rushed out of the Headmaster’s Office.

He was no longer concerned with the prophecy, just hoping to select a new Keeper in the two hours before the match started.
