A Warm Marriage After Rebirth

Chapter 216: Chapter 216: The Domineering Mr. Grant (4)

Seraphina Sterling had been about to refuse outright, but then she spotted Quinn Jennings hiding behind the main gate and immediately changed her mind. ”I can arrange a meeting for you with Terrence Grant, but in exchange, you must promise me one thing!”

Hearing that he had a chance to meet Terrence Grant, Leo Jennings, who had been on the verge of despair, instantly saw a glimmer of hope. ”Name your condition! As long as it’s something I can do, I’ll definitely agree!”

”It’s actually very simple, and you can definitely do it! Just keep your precious little sister in check and stop her from bothering me.” ’My time is limited, and I have many important things to do. I don’t have a moment to spare for these insignificant people!’

”I promise!” ’I thought it would be something incredibly difficult, but I never expected it to be such a small thing!’

”I hope you can actually do it! If your precious little sister comes to bother me again, who knows what might happen to Serene Living Architecture! Don’t forget, if I can arrange for you to meet Terrence Grant, I can also have Terrence Grant completely crush your Serene Living Architecture! Don’t try to test my patience! I don’t have a very good temper, and when I get impulsive, I’m capable of anything!”

Seraphina Sterling’s soft voice carried a unique threat, and her deep eyes glinted with a sharp edge, like a quiet, harmless cat suddenly baring its sharp claws. Although Quinn Jennings was thoroughly spoiled, if she were placed on one end of a scale and Serene Living Architecture on the other, the winner would be obvious.

”Seraphina Sterling! What exactly is your goal?” Quinn Jennings, who had been listening from the side for a long time, shot out and rushed in. ”What kind of condition is that? You don’t want to see me? Are you afraid of me?”

Quinn Jennings’s tone was as self-righteous as ever! As if she were the best, the greatest, and everyone else had to look up to her. She just forgot that she hadn’t done a single thing on her own; without Leo Jennings’s help, she was absolutely nothing!

Seraphina Sterling said nothing, merely giving Leo Jennings a faint glance. Immediately, other people appeared to get her sorted out and under control.

Leo Jennings glared fiercely at Quinn Jennings. ”Stop being willful and go home at once!”

”Brother?” Quinn Jennings stared at Leo Jennings in disbelief. ”Brother, who’s your sister, her or me? Don’t trust this woman, she’s a fantastic liar!”

”Quinn, go home right now. Stop being willful! As for whether or not she’s lying, I have my own judgment! The condition is that you don’t cause any trouble!” Looking at his sister’s stubborn eyes, Leo Jennings suddenly felt this was going to be a hassle. ’Making sure this little brat doesn’t harass Seraphina Sterling again is giving me a huge headache.’

”You two can discuss the details thoroughly. I’m going to go catch up on some sleep!” Seraphina Sterling waved a hand at them, the curve of her lips growing more pronounced. ’I’ll leave the rest to them. I’m going to get some proper rest!’

Watching Seraphina Sterling enter the courtyard and return to her room alone, the Jennings siblings finally felt that something wasn’t right. They suddenly had the feeling they’d been tricked.

In reality, the situation was this: Even before returning, Seraphina Sterling knew the Jennings siblings wouldn’t let the issue of her identity go so easily, which was why she deliberately proposed that condition to Leo Jennings. She simply didn’t want the two of them constantly blocking her outside her courtyard, so she’d come up with a plan to use his own weapon against him.

However, she wasn’t actually tricking them. She was definitely going to arrange the meeting between Leo Jennings and Terrence Grant. This was because she had to attend the inaugural Apex Auction, and Leo would be her best excuse to go to Sanford. Arranging for the two to meet was something she had decided on long ago; she had just tacked on a condition at the last minute.
