Chapter 262: Chapter 132 This Time It’s a Swindler (Part 5) Extra Chapter for 100+ Monthly Votes_3

He Qingfeng suddenly remembered that there was a Scripture Pavilion within the Taoist Temple, perhaps it contained the collections of the ancestors.

Thus, Su Min bravely stood guard beside her daughter while He Qingfeng desperately searched.

As a result, he really did find some ancient scrolls.

Through those incomplete scriptures, He Qingfeng found a magic to eliminate the Evil Ghost.

However, the magic was also incomplete, and He Qingfeng could only manage to restore it based on his understanding and years of experience in talisman drawing.

But He Qingfeng genuinely lacked talent, and the magic was indeed incomplete.

In the end, He Qingfeng and Su Min, in a mutual destruction manner, scattered with the Evil Ghost.

The Evil Ghost was obliterated, but the original owner was not completely saved, turning into a half-human, half-ghost monster.

The original owner, just a nine-year-old child, nearly turned evil upon seeing her parents’ bodies.

The last bit of her sanity reminded her, she needed to learn magic, she needed to find a way to summon back her parents’ souls and resurrect them.

To resurrect her parents, the original owner became the villainous BOSS.

The original owner had a unique physique, but she was also particularly talented.

Using the remaining ancient scrolls in the Taoist Temple, she created a deadly Array.

She turned the orthodox Guiyuan Temple into the Array Eye, crazily absorbing the yang energy of living beings.

The villages around, nearly turned into dead zones, humans, livestock, and all plants became nourishment for the Array.

There were also some cultivators, who occasionally passed by, were deceived by the Array, and then had their Spiritual Energy drained.

Once flourishing and full of vitality, Nanshan was directly turned by the original owner into barren lands with dense yin energy, resembling a Demon Cave with Evil Spirits.

Such anti-human existence naturally drew the attention of special departments and the Mysticism World, thus becoming the dungeon for the male and female leads to gain experience.

After a series of thrilling and dangerous struggles, the male and female leads finally killed the villainous BOSS He Tiantian.

He Qingfeng, Su Min’s corpses, along with the heritage of the thousand-year-old Guiyuan Temple, all turned into nothingness.

Of course, when the male and female leads played the ”Guiyuan Temple dungeon”, it was also mentioned why the original owner became possessed.

The original owner and her parents were indeed pitiable, and the male and female leads genuinely sighed a few times.

But, that was it.

After all, it was just a dungeon, a small segment in the whole script.

But for the original owner, He Qingfeng, and Su Min, it was a vivid, cruel, and tragic life.

He Tiantian: ... Okay, I admit, I am looking at it from the perspective of the villain.

But the problem is, she indeed became the villain this time.

As an ordinary person, He Tiantian found it hard to practice ”justice over family.”

She was more likely to exonerate the original owner, He Qingfeng and his wife, and try in every way to salvage their fates.

But —

He Tiantian bit her lip, she had a premonition that the system would continue to force her to follow the script.

Because if He Qingfeng and his wife didn’t die, the original owner wouldn’t become possessed, and thus, there would be no Guiyuan Temple dungeon.

Without this dungeon, the female lead would not be able to accidentally discover the true heritage of Guiyuan Temple in the ruins, and then become a talismanic power.

Thus, the female lead would miss out on another glittering Skill.

This urban supernatural thrill ride was originally a poorly concluded story, if the image of the female lead also became pale and weak, then this task would definitely fail.

Wait, what exactly is this task?

To continue writing the novel, making the storyline richer and more complete, that’s the basic operation.

Additionally, there might be more specific tasks.

”Xiao D, what’s the task this time?” He Tiantian asked directly.

Student Xiao D didn’t delay, and quickly transmitted the task to He Tiantian—eliminate the Red-clothed female ghost!

He Tiantian paused slightly, ”Eliminate, eliminate the Red-clothed female ghost?”

This was the first time she received a ”kill” task since she started doing tasks.

Oh no, the target of the elimination was not a human, but a female ghost.

But, He Tiantian had a premonition, this Red-clothed female ghost was probably not just ordinary cannon fodder, but an important character driving the plot.

She might even be related to the male lead and female lead.

He Tiantian revisited the script and indeed found the Red-clothed female ghost’s part.

The Red-clothed female ghost was a pitifully infatuated woman, wronged by a scoundrel.

When she was killed, she happened to be wearing a red dress, and due to the deep resentment, directly turned into an Evil Ghost.

She crazily devoured other ghosts, possessing formidable strength, and was the first mini-BOSS the female lead encountered while growing into a Mysticism tycoon.

Yet, she was not a villain, but could be tamed by the female lead as a little helper.

The female lead stopped her from further turning evil and helped her avenge, then neutralized her malicious aura with magic, turning her into a Ghost Cultivator who followed the female lead in her adventures, leveling up and ultimately ascending as a Ghost Immortal!

He Tiantian: ...

The Red-clothed female ghost is definitely the female lead’s trusty sidekick.

By asking her to eliminate the Red-clothed female ghost, the system was having her directly oppose the female lead.

And this opposition was not just small mischief like in the male lead’s relative’s script, but truly forming deadly enmity.

The system must be worried she wouldn’t obediently follow the plot, using explicit tasks to force her to continue being the villainous BOSS...
