The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 261: Chapter 132: This Time It’s a Swindler (Part 5) _Extra for 100+ Monthly Votes_2

Four Pillars Pure Yin, naturally weak and sickly.

Additionally, it could also be explained like this: He Qingfeng and Su Min had incurred the Five Disadvantages and Three Deficiencies; they revealed too many heavenly secrets, so retribution fell upon their child.

The latter seemed to better demonstrate their capabilities.

However, He Qingfeng and Su Min were very resistant to this notion.

Both of them didn’t believe in ghosts and gods.

They themselves concocted many ”Miracles”, so they wouldn’t be deceived by some illusions.

What ghostly hauntings?

It was mostly coincidences or Eye-Blocking Techniques.

They were momentarily surprised, simply because they hadn’t found a way to solve it yet, not because it was truly ”supernatural” and had escalated to demons and monsters.

Thus, when their daughter was born naturally weak, He Qingfeng might mutter ”Four Pillars Pure Yin”, but Su Min firmly believed, ”If my daughter is unwell, we shall go to the hospital.”

Go to the hospital if ill, not place hopes in gods and Buddha.

If the hospitals in County and City couldn’t cure her, then they would go to Provincial City, to Capital City.

If that still didn’t work, the couple would work hard to earn money and then send their child to the best medical institutions in the world.

He Tiantian: ...Parents indeed love their daughter, but real mom and dad... This body’s weakness really is due to physical constitution.

Because the original owner was born with Yin Yang Eye, able to see ghosts and some supernatural objects.

When she was young, she didn’t understand; she just thought those black, grey, or white vapors were interesting.

Her home was a Taoist Temple, filled with ghosts and gods, as well as some mountain spirits, and demons.

The original owner found them fun and even befriended them.

However, these non-human entities were full of yin energy and Evil Qi, and contact with them infected her body.

There were also some Evil Ghosts, evil spirits, that coveted her pure yin body and attempted to seize it.

Fortunately, Guiyuan Temple was a legitimate Taoist Temple. Many scriptures and magic techniques had been lost; the descendants had become ordinary Taoists, but the foundation remained.

To not mention others, just the old plaque of Guiyuan Temple, was carved by a great predecessor from over two hundred centuries ago.

Over the many years of depletion, the Spiritual Power, Mana on the plaque had dwindled.

But, it was still capable of repelling some Evil Ghosts, evil spirits.

The original owner also grew up in the Taoist Temple, which prevented those evil spirits from seizing her body.

Regrettably, as the original owner gradually grew up and needed to attend school, Mr. and Mrs. He discussed and temporarily moved back to Su Family Bay.

By then, the original owner had become sensible and would no longer naively think those mysterious vapors were playmates.

Removed from the yin energy and Evil Qi, the original owner’s health did improve.

The family of three returned to normal life.

Su Min continued being the Immortal Nun Su in the village, and He Qingfeng went to clock in at the Taoist Temple daily.

The original owner made same-aged friends at school and began living a normal child’s life.

If life had continued this way, it wouldn’t have been a bad existence.

Although Mr. and Mrs. He acted deceitfully, they kept to their own moral lines.

They were even more restrained than in their youth.

Because they were no longer impulsive youths, nor were they alone.

They had a daughter.

For their daughter, even if they didn’t believe in ghosts and gods, they didn’t want to do bad things and have their daughter suffer retribution.

They would even genuinely treat people or guide them toward good while deceiving.

Doing good deeds, even if it didn’t bring Merit, was still not bad.

They cherished their daughter deeply, so even though they knew it might be foolish, they proceeded anyway.

This couple might not have been good people but certainly weren’t despicable villains.

Yet, fate would not let them go.

In the year the original owner turned nine, while out playing with friends, an Evil Ghost attached itself to her.

Watching their beloved daughter’s nature drastically change and even attempt to harm her own parents were He Qingfeng and Su Min finally realized: ghosts really do exist in this world!

Their daughter had been possessed by an Evil Ghost, if they didn’t expel the Evil Ghost promptly, their precious girl’s Divine Soul would be devoured by the Evil Ghost, then turned into the ghost’s Puppet.

No!

Absolutely not!

Their child was their life, the faith that there was still goodness and happiness in this world; they wouldn’t allow their daughter to be devoured by the Evil Ghost, ending up with a scattered soul, forever unable to reincarnate.

It’s just that, having pretended to be ghosts for many years, they were helpless in the face of a real Evil Ghost.
