The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 46: Chapter 046 I Am the Wicked Older Sister (Part 1)

”He Tiantian, you just arrived; do you have all your living supplies ready? If you’re missing anything, you can use mine!”

The speaker was a tall girl with short hair, standing well over 170 centimeters tall, by the looks of it.

Just when He Tiantian had a dispute with Wu Xiaohan and Liu Qian, this girl was sitting by her desk reading.

The incident calmed down quickly, and the dorm room returned to its peaceful state.

Wu Xiaohan swiftly organized the items piled on the vacant bed, while He Tiantian quickly climbed onto her bunk, spreading out her bedsheet and other bedding items.

However, when she got off the bed to wash up, He Tiantian seemed somewhat hesitant.

Observing this, the tall girl took the initiative to speak to He Tiantian.

He Tiantian looked up and recognized the speaker as a classmate named Zhou Zixuen.

Uh, that was slightly awkward, as Zhou Zixuen’s name, while different in characters, sounded similar to Zhou Zixuan.

It was like those name puns frequently discussed online, a whole array of similar-sounding names like Zixuan, Zixuen, Zixuan, Zihan, Zi Han, Zihan, and the list goes on.

Apart from different surnames, boys and girls would be confused as if it were all the same.

Zhou Zixuan and Zhou Zixuen became a source of embarrassment; they even shared the same surname, leaving teachers and classmates in High School Grade 2 Class 7 somewhat bewildered.

To differentiate between the two, the teachers and students had no choice but to revert to the old method: by age.

With Zhou Zixuan being two months younger than Zhou Zixuen, she was dubbed Little Zhou Zixuan.

And Zhou Zixuen became known as Dazhou Zixuen.

The girls didn’t exactly share the same name, but they were arbitrarily assigned a senior and junior status, as if they weren’t unique individuals anymore.

For adolescent girls, this caused some discomfort internally, and they looked at each other with slightly less favor.

Their personalities did indeed differ.

Zhou Zixuan was a quiet girl, gentle and graceful, the type that teachers and parents love.

Zhou Zixuen, on the other hand, transferred to the small county town due to her father’s job relocation when she was in middle school.

Based on her everyday dress, behavior, and speech, one could infer that Zhou Zixuen originally came from a leading big city.

Her family’s financial situation also seemed quite comfortable.

Zhou Zixuen was incredibly outgoing, sporting short hair and preferring androgynous clothing, presenting as a handsome neutral beauty.

This kind of beauty might be seen as uniquely charming in big cities or to younger people.

However, in the more closed-off, traditional small county town, it stood out as somewhat unconventional.

Many older individuals disapproved of her, finding her androgynous appearance inappropriate for a girl.

Worse yet, she might be seen as a troublesome girl who mixed with the wrong crowd on the streets.

Even at school, there were whispers and rumors.

But Zhou Zixuen never cared; she was confident, cheerful, radiant, and lively, like a miniature sun exuding warmth and energy.

He Tiantian used to envy her and countless times thought how wonderful it would be to be friends with someone like her.

Many girls and boys in the class liked to socialize with Zhou Zixuen, as no one would refuse the company of an honest, sunny classmate.

But Zhou Zixuan truly disliked Zhou Zixuen.

Perhaps it was the grudge of sharing a ”similar name,” or perhaps it was jealousy!

After all, if Zhou Zixuan could even envy He Tiantian for her timidity and lack of self-confidence, what was such a bright neutral beauty like Zhou Zixuen to her?

Zhou Zixuan more than once badmouthed Zhou Zixuen in her clique, calling her androgynous, tomboyish...

He Tiantian could only say that with some people’s hearts soiled, everything they see appears tainted.

”Thank you, I—I’ve run out of facial cleanser and forgot to buy a new one!”

He Tiantian knew Zhou Zixuen was kind and generous; during the argument with Wu Xiaohan and Liu Qian when they spoke ill of her, Zhou Zixuen was one of the two who defended He Tiantian.

The other was Ma Siqi, who, although not as bold and distinctive as Zhou Zixuen, was also a kind-hearted and upright girl.

Another girl in the dormitory hadn’t spoken a word from the time He Tiantian arrived at the door to when she argued with Wu Xiaohan and Liu Qian.

Her name was Chen Nan; she came from a rural household, and she was quite introverted and somewhat self-conscious.

She spent her time studying, dedicating up to eighteen hours a day to her studies from the twenty-four available.

Almost every moment, except for sleeping, she would be reading or memorizing, never relaxing even while eating.

Naturally, Chen Nan’s academic performance ranked high in the class, but her reluctance to socialize made her seem somewhat lonely.

Had it not been for her good grades and the favor she had with the homeroom teacher and the other teachers, her introverted and self-conscious nature might have made her a target for bullying like He Tiantian once was.

In the six-person dormitory, besides He Tiantian, there were five other roommates.

He Tiantian moved into the dorm on the first day and immediately noticed that each of her roommates had their own unique characteristics.

Zhou Zixuen and Ma Siqi were the kind of kids who grew up in happy families, with right values and manners.

Wu Xiaohan seemed like a pampered girl, clumsy and capricious, and very easily manipulated by others.

Liu Qian came from a single-parent family, felt inferiority within herself, yet aspired to join cliques by jeering at and bullying those weaker than herself to fit in.

Chen Nan’s family appeared not very affluent, and somewhat favored boys over girls; she had reportedly fought hard to get the chance to attend high school in the county, so she treasured this opportunity and was like a walking study machine!

And He Tiantian, needless to say, had recently become the most noticeable person in class.

She suddenly changed her hairstyle, trimming away her long, thick bangs to reveal delicate and radiant facial features.

Her skin was creamy, her eyes bright and teeth white, the entire person exuded confidence and composure from inside out.

Everyone in High School Grade 2 Class 7, including the teachers, never expected that this girl, who usually shrank into a corner, could be so stunning when she raised her head.

Not to mention the boys in the class, always looking for chances to stealthily check out He Tiantian.

Even Gao Xiang, the heartthrob of the class, cast a few more glances her way.

This, as it seemed, invited new troubles for He Tiantian.

One day, during her spare time, He Tiantian was browsing Taobao on her phone.

Ever since He Tiantian had completely moved out of her aunt’s house and into the dorm, she discovered many items she needed to purchase.

Some everyday items, she would buy from the supermarket or market outside school during lunch breaks or after school.

While for others, online shopping was more convenient.

Like a magical dormitory bed curtain, well, wanting a relatively private space meant you must install a curtain around your bed.

As Tiantian searched, she realized Taobao offered a wide variety of bed curtains.

There were all kinds of creativity and thousands of designs; you could only imagine, and the sellers would make it happen.

”... Class Ten’s Duan Nana said you seduced Gao Xiang and wants to confront you after school!”

Just as He Tiantian was seriously selecting bed curtain styles on Taobao, a soft voice suddenly reached her ear.

Tiantian quickly looked up and saw Chen Nan returning with a thick stack of exercise books.

Her seat was near the front, while Tiantian’s was in one of the last rows, so Chen Nan had specifically come over to warn her, ”You have to be careful. If it’s too much, go talk to Teacher Fang!”

”Thank you, Chen Nan!” He Tiantian looked into Chen Nan’s eyes and sincerely said.

She felt another act of kindness – her student days indeed had ugliness, but they also had such small beauties.

”No, no need to thank me!” Embarrassed, Chen Nan avoided He Tiantian’s gaze and hurried back to her seat to continue solving problems.

For someone like her, who couldn’t bear to waste even a second, making the effort to come and inform He Tiantian was quite rare indeed.

He Tiantian remembered this kindness from Chen Nan.

Duan Nana?

If Zhou Zixuen’s flamboyant personality made the older generation mistakingly believe she was a bad girl,

Then Duan Nana from Class Ten really fit the students’ description of a gang leader.

Bullying and extortion, all kinds of violent actions seemed unfit for a girl her age.

But she did them all.

Only she was more covert, never showing off by taking photos or videos.

And students bullied by her were too timid to speak out.

Therefore, Duan Nana’s infamy spread only among the students, and teachers, at most, had heard rumors but lacked solid evidence.

”Student Xiao D, can you help me?”

He Tiantian had been bullied by Duan Nana before and had chosen to suffer in silence.

This time, she would not yield, but Tiantian had to admit one thing.

Duan Nana had some justification to become the school’s tyrant; she had practiced Martial Arts since she was young, so her punches and kicks were strong.

Although He Tiantian had time-traveled through two book worlds, she had relied on her brains and her mouth; her Combat Power was genuinely not high.

Tiantian didn’t want to use the same old charm and sweet talk on Duan Nana; she wanted to settle new and old scores with her once and for all!

”Keep doing missions. In the novel world, anything is possible!” Xiao D said slyly.

Looking at the class schedule, Tiantian found that the next class was a study period and also time-traveling into the book world meant time in the human world stopped.

Tiantian nodded, ”Okay, I’ll do the mission!”

As the space before her twisted, Tiantian passed through a brief darkness; upon welcoming the light once again, she couldn’t help but curse, ”Damn it! Xiao D, you tricked me again!”
