Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 1300: Chapter 11: Arrival

Although Pika didn’t know the sea routes, after initial negotiations with him, Su Xiao officially joined the Donquixote Family.

[You have successfully joined the Donquixote Family.]

[You have completed the Promotion/Main Task (one-fourth).]

[You have received 10,000 Paradise coins.]

[You have activated the second ring of the Promotion/Main Task.]

[Promotion/Main Task; Dressrosa (Second Ring).]

Difficulty Level: Lv.15

Task Brief: Reach Dressrosa

Task Deadline: 5 natural days.

Task Reward: 1 True Attribute Point.

Task Penalty: Forceful execution.

...

Seeing the task’s second ring, Su Xiao vaguely sensed something was amiss; the task was becoming simpler, which was definitely not a good sign.

This was Su Xiao’s collection of the Main Task + Promotion Task in an open world. The dangers of the New World Sea Areas were evident to all. If the first two rings were simple, the difficulty of the latter two would be exaggerated.

Under normal circumstances, the second ring task wasn’t hard; the Lv.15 difficulty was indicative of that. But for Su Xiao now, this task was a bit dependent on luck.

First, most pointing tools are ineffective in the New World; a pointer that works here needs to be at least Dark Purple, if not Light Gold or above.

Without the unique pointers of the New World, it meant Su Xiao could get lost at sea. His trusted Pika was also directionally challenged at sea, highlighting the importance of a navigator.

Realizing he was lost, Pika sat cross-legged on the ice to conserve stamina.

”No problem, I’ve been lost at sea twice before.”

Pika chewed on compressed food calmly, his attitude evidently relaxed a lot, even starting to chat with Su Xiao.

”Oh? How did you solve it?”

”I can withstand hunger for a long time.”

”...”

Su Xiao made no comment on Pika’s way of handling being lost at sea; he didn’t have time to drag things out. If he couldn’t reach Dressrosa in five days, his adventure in the Pirate World would end.

Su Xiao had one Main Quest Failure Exemption, so even if he failed the task, he wouldn’t face termination.

But he didn’t want to miss this opportunity to enter the Pirate World. There were many famous swords, body techniques, and devil fruits that were valuable, and he was interested in both Armament Haki and Observation Haki.

With Su Xiao’s current strength, acquiring both types of Haki wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t impossible.

He had high hopes for the defensive power and attack power of Armament Haki. As for Observation Haki, he could integrate it into his Intuition ability.

The strongest point of Intuition ability is that it can integrate various perception skills. Sha, who taught Su Xiao the Intuition ability, had integrated many perception abilities into it.

After other perception abilities were integrated into the Intuition ability, it wouldn’t fundamentally change but would greatly enhance it. If he could integrate Observation Haki, it would significantly boost his Intuition ability.

The ice layer floated on the sea with the wind, and of course, Su Xiao wouldn’t wait as Pika suggested for a ship to pass by or drift to some island.

Compared to waiting, Su Xiao preferred taking the initiative. What’s most abundant in the New World seas? The answer was pirates constantly on the move.

Su Xiao took out a thick iron pipe from his exclusive room and fixed it on the ice surface, pressing a button on top.

With a bang, a red smoke ball shot out of the pipe, exploded at 300 meters altitude, forming a big cloud of red mist.

This red mist was made of special chemical materials and wouldn’t dissipate quickly.

Seeing the red mist in the sky, Pika seemed to light up, guessing what Su Xiao intended to do.

After five hours had passed, the ice layer was quiet. Pika, like a meditating monk, sat cross-legged on the ice while Su Xiao took out another iron pipe and fired a large signal flare. It was a self-made flare, inspired by his previous original world.

With a bang, a cloud of yellow mist exploded in the sky. Red, orange, yellow, green—Su Xiao tried all colors, yet not a single ship appeared around.

Though no pirates were attracted, Su Xiao didn’t give up. He didn’t believe pirates could suppress their curiosity. Pirates longed for freedom and exploration of the unknown. The ’Seven-Color Auspicious Cloud’ in the sky was undoubtedly a rare sight.

Just as Su Xiao was about to fire a new flare, a black dot appeared in the distance: a ship!

Seeing the ship, Su Xiao leaped into the sea, quickly disappearing from Pika’s sight.

Half a kilometer away from the ice layer, a medium-sized sailing ship was navigating the sea. It was a merchant ship transporting food, wine, and other goods.

Daring to transport food and wine in the New World Sea Areas was a death wish, but this ship had a skull printed on its sail. Behind the skull were crisscrossed bones, and the smiling skull had a crescent-shaped white beard, its most notable feature.

This merchant ship wasn’t attracted by the signal flare; it was just their route, simply passing through here.

”Captain, there’s something unusual ahead!”

A sailor with a flintlock gun at his waist shouted and quickly ran to the ship’s captain.

The captain, an eye-patched middle-aged man, pulled a monocular from his waist and looked into the distance.

”Is that...ice?”

Seeing the ice in the sea, the One-Eyed Captain instinctively sensed trouble.

Clang!

Wood chips flew as a hook lock clung to the main mast of the ship. The sound of breaking water came from one side of the vessel, and before the One-Eyed Captain and many sailors could react, a drenched figure was already standing on the deck.

”Who are you?”

A young sailor shouted, his voice slightly altered from nervousness.

”Whitebeard’s ship.”

Su Xiao had seen the emblem on the sail while underwater; this symbol wielded immense deterrent power in the New World.

”Yes.”

The One-Eyed Captain instinctively puffed his chest and signaled his sailors not to act rashly.

”How far is it to Dressrosa?”

Su Xiao retracted the Boundary Line. He wasn’t there to loot the ship but to find a vessel and a crew who knew navigation to take him to Dressrosa Island.

”About a few hours’ sail.”

The One-Eyed Captain was relieved, using his years of sailing experience to determine the situation.

”Take me to Dressrosa, name your price.”

”No need for a price; we’re just passing by the waters near Dressrosa.”

The One-Eyed Captain saw that Su Xiao wasn’t to be trifled with and only wanted to resolve the situation quickly. Weighing a few hours of sailing against a bloodbath, the Captain chose the former.

A few minutes later, the merchant ship sailed to the ice layer where Bubu Wang, A Mu, and Pika boarded the ship.

Seeing Pika, the One-Eyed Captain looked grim. He had guessed Su Xiao and his group were pirates but hadn’t expected them to be a party of stranded Great Pirates.

The One-Eyed Captain was extremely adept, avoiding too much negotiation with Su Xiao and simply instructing his crew to head directly for Dressrosa.

About four hours later, an island surrounded by huge rocks appeared in Su Xiao’s sight—Dressrosa had arrived.
