Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Demon-Defending Fortress, inside the small building constructed by Alka and his group.

At this moment, there are five people sitting in the living room of the small building, namely Alka, Jason, and Juanlu.

Aside from these three, there are two strangers here, the ones Jason and Juanlu mentioned yesterday as potential helpers.

They are Keparo and Anka.

Keparo is a rugged-looking middle-aged man, wearing a diagonally draped robe on his upper body, with his left chest completely exposed, revealing scars all over it.

Even on his face, one can see slight scars and a wound that stretches across his face.

His clothing and attire style indicate that displaying scars might be a custom of their race.

He carries on his back a weapon resembling a mining pickaxe, though it appears to be enlarged.

On the other side, Anka is a person with unusually pale skin. However, his skin is almost completely covered in black clothing.

His gender is entirely unknown, with only the eyes and surrounding skin exposed.

His unique eyes, especially, are colored a bluish green.

Though fully wrapped, his demeanor reveals he’s not a gloomy person, just quiet and not fond of speaking, appearing to be of a similar age as Alka and his group.

It’s unclear how Juanlu became acquainted with him.

After all, Juanlu is not like Jason, who is not some enthusiast in social interaction.

In fact, Anka may be over 100 years old, but due to the unique attributes of their race, he appears so young.

While the normal human lifespan doesn’t change much, strength enhancement can increase longevity.

However, the appearance still changes with time, longevity doesn’t halt aging.

Only those inherently long-lived races or those possessing certain treasures undergo such circumstances.

Currently, the five of them bear some bloodstains more or less.

Because demons have started attacking again, but just as they mentioned before, the attack frequency is very low, and the number of demons is few.

At least for the Demon-Defending Fortress, this level of attack intensity seems somewhat manageable to them.

Others have already gone to fortify defenses at the fortress, while Alka and his group have just been rotated off duty, inviting the two over for discussion.

Seated, Keparo glanced around before asking, ”Brother Jason, why did you invite me here?”

Anka also turned his gaze to Juanlu, a question lingering in his eyes.

Neither of them is familiar with Alka, having scarcely interacted before.

Truthfully, this is also Alka’s first meeting with the two, having only heard a little about them before.

Though there are quite a few Sixth Stage and Seventh Stage experts here, it’s not overly abundant.

Because there are many defensive zones on the city walls, and he spends most of his time in the area managed by the Holy Mother Church.

Jason and the others have their own defensive zones.

Alka and Chadite primarily stay fixed in the region of the Holy Mother.

Just like Julia’s defensive zone, typically fixed in the area managed by Life.

Simon is mainly responsible for various city defense mechanisms, Pororo spends most of his time in the Storm Church’s area.

Hearing this, Jason leaned back in his chair and glanced at Alka, saying, ”Our captain has something that requires your assistance.”

Upon hearing this, both Keparo and Anka turned to look at Alka.

Alka looked at them and nodded with a smile.

”No problem, if there’s anything I can help with, just say the word,” Keparo laughed heartily.

Anka, beside him, also nodded, indicating he agreed.

Alka smiled and said, ”Thank you for your help. I’ve invited you both here primarily because I want to capture a demon alive.”

”Capture a demon alive?” Keparo repeated.

The two couldn’t help but recall the scene when Alka sealed the demon targeting him before.

That battle was fairly intense, drawing the attention of most of the fortress’s stronger individuals.

Since then, everyone knows Alka probably possesses some ability to seal demons within something.

Later, Alka frequently demonstrated his skills, like when he helped the Holy Blade Saintess Anaphel seal the demon she was dealing with after upgrading to the Seventh Stage.

So, this isn’t really a secret.

However, Keparo furrowed his brows slightly, asking curiously, ”With your strength, demons around the Seventh Stage shouldn’t be hard for you, right? If you want to capture one alive at the Eighth Stage, honestly, I doubt I can offer much help.”

Alka has sealed Seventh Stage demons multiple times, and coupled with their team’s reputation, they’re quite famous here.

No team can match them in fully maximizing each individual’s potential, with such strong abilities.

They’ve been here for quite some time, and people have more or less deduced their treasures complement each other quite perfectly.

On the whole ship, every person’s treasure amounts to at least two items.
