Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

He didn’t know how to be certain again.

”Let me do it.” A voice came from behind this member of the Seed of Life.

Walking over was a figure dressed in the style of the Holy Mother Church.

It was a woman.

With golden, smooth long hair cascading down, her face was adorned with a highly distinctive and prominently noticeable metal eyepatch. It was covered with heavily religious style patterns.

A striking metallic splendid armor was on her, with a different styled longsword on each side.

On her head, she wore a metal laurel crown woven from wheat, and in the center was adorned with a brown-yellow gemstone.

Alka recognized her.

That head of golden long hair and her metal eyepatch were truly too distinctive.

About six or seven years ago, back when Alka was on Gemini Island seeking assistance from that Archbishop, trying to borrow a Treasure related to autumn.

Akka remembered that when he left the church, he saw this Holy Blade Saintess praying with several Wheat Knights in the church.

At that time, he remembered seeing on this maiden two gold and one orange, a total of three Treasures, and her power had reached Tier Six.

And now, Alka blinked slightly.

This maiden’s power had almost reached Perfection of Tier Six, seeming as if she could break through to the Seventh Stage at any moment, and her Treasures had also become three gold and one orange.

Compared to Alka, she was only missing one orange Treasure.

”Holy Blade Saintess.” This member of the Seed of Life respectfully said, then stepped aside.

And this Holy Blade Saintess looked at Alka and smiled, ”We met many years ago, right? I still remember you.”

Alka nodded, ”Back on Gemini Island.”

Upon hearing this, the Saintess’s smile did not diminish, raising her right hand, clad in thin metallic soft armor.

It even had some fresh blood and scratches on it, judging by the freshness of the blood, she seemed to have just finished a battle not half an hour ago.

”Let me introduce myself, I am Anaphel.”

Alka shook her hand lightly and said, ”Alka.”

Anaphel nodded and said, ”No problem, are you heading to the Holy Mother’s base? Follow me then.”

Upon hearing this, Alka nodded, then turned to look at the nearby guard and said, ”Thank you for your help.”

The Guard Captain quickly nodded and said, ”No trouble.”

Then Alka followed behind Anaphel and entered the fortress.

Inside, the space within the fortress was much larger than he had imagined.

One could even see vast training grounds around, with soldiers warming up and training on them.

Soldiers came and went, talking among themselves, and the place was filled with a murderous atmosphere, with a thick scent of blood lingering from afar, unable to dissipate.

And as soon as he entered the fortress, Alka could clearly feel the space here briefly weakening almost to the point of disappearance. It was as if outside the World Scar, doors to space could be opened at will.

Only heard Anaphel in front said, ”This is the most chaotic node in the whole world, due to that World Scar, it’s extraordinarily chaotic here.

The space is unusually weak, everything is chaotic and disordered. Demons can also exert their greatest strength here, and likewise, Treasures can function better without too much constraint.”

To Anaphel’s words, Alka nodded in agreement, as he had clearly felt it.

He could already clearly feel the elements around him being so easy to control.

The elements were chaotic and active, but that also meant they were easier to mobilize, control, and grasp.

Space was the same.

Alka even felt that the separation from the Dream World wasn’t that thick anymore.

Although for others there might not seem to be a difference.

Here the demon became stronger, but he would only be stronger still.

Alka couldn’t help but smile on his face.

Going further inside, bypassing some stone buildings’ blockages, Alka finally saw the towering watchtowers and city walls.

They should be facing the demons, with heights of fifty to sixty meters, could this be called a city wall?

Equivalent to rows of tall buildings, closely joined together.

Blocking out sunlight to a certain extent, making the inside of the fortress appear somewhat dim.

And those watchtowers were even taller, and Alka could see above a very exaggerated gemstone.

He could even feel the power of the Holy Mother from the gemstone, but not just the power of the Holy Mother.

Upon closer inspection, it should be the power of the Four Gods gathered here.

Incidentally, it also somewhat stabilized at least the chaos within the fortress, preventing it from being completely devoid of the natural order.

That is to say, the chaos Alka just felt was only within the fortress, in this controlled environment by the Four Divine Powers, and the environmental changes felt here.

If it were outside the fortress, one could scarcely imagine the extent of chaos.

In such a situation, the demon’s location might be only just a bit better than on the Abyss road.

In comparison, one wonders whether the use of Treasures might still elevate to an even higher tier.
