Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Alka wasn’t sure if others could feel it, but when he received the latter part of the information, he could very clearly sense the lingering pain.

This means that the supplementary information emerged after the world was shattered and reassembled.

Perhaps it was not long after the reassembly was completed, after all, the world’s current painful state, which craves destruction, wasn’t achieved overnight; it must have been a tormenting process until the desire for self-destruction gradually emerged.

The supplementary information outlines new steps for Ascension to Divinity.

Do not propagate oneself; keep as low a profile as possible, and especially avoid letting too many beings know about oneself.

If they do know, it is best to wait for them to forget before performing activities related to divine ascension.

The information is just that simple.

Alka frowned, as this was different from what he had thought, or rather different from the reality he perceived.

In reality, the vast majority of the powerful tend to spread their fame, even deliberately disseminating their experiences through various media and stories.

They even embellish these stories just to be firmly remembered by people.

This is completely different from the warning that the world is trying to convey.

Alka felt uneasy, as he had not yet found anyone to provide him answers.

At this time, a figure suddenly appeared in his mind.

Holy Mother?

Could the Holy Mother resolve such doubts for him?

Thinking of this, Alka didn’t mind the trouble and started praying on the spot, just hoping the Holy Mother would resolve his doubts.

With Alka’s prayer, it didn’t take long before the Holy Mother’s gentle and kind voice echoed in his mind.

”This is... a mother’s love.” The Holy Mother’s voice, rarely, mixed a hint of sorrow.

The voice continued: ”After the world was destroyed and we reassembled it, her consciousness, though returned, endured pain.

The consciousness was scattered and not cohesive, similar to humans missing memories. This is the issue brought by shattering and reassembly.”

”But during such a period, she still sent warnings to her children in her scattered state.

The ordinary beings surviving on her body naturally could not leave; they are also a part of the world.

But for the new beings aspiring to divine ascension, excessively binding with these beings would make it difficult for them to detach from the world’s constraints.

In such a state, ascending could result in destruction together with the world. This is her final act of love.”

The Holy Mother’s voice faded from his mind.

Alka stood there, lost in thought.

For a moment, he didn’t know what to say. Thinking carefully, this information was both reasonable and surprising.

No wonder those gods allowed the Demon to destroy this planet when they were detaching.

After the destruction, those who once believed in the Divine would naturally perish.

Upon perishing, those divines could safely leave, shedding the world’s constraints along with its remnants.

The world’s destruction seemed so reasonable to those former divines.

So, back then, what the four gods tried to save were just their own followers.

Only then did they preserve those still alive on the fragments, but these beings might have believed in various divines.

But the number left at that time certainly wasn’t too many.

No longer imposing any constraints on those great entities they once worshipped.

Reversing the logic from there.

Do not let oneself become highly bound with the ordinary beings living in the world to safely detach later.

Detach from this self that the world inevitably perceives as doomed.

Yet now, phenomena suggest that most of the powerful are deliberately spreading their influence and fame. Why bind themselves so closely with the life’s beings of this world?

Reflecting, Alka came to a conclusion that he believed to be correct based on what he knew and the current circumstances.

Stabilize the world since these ordinary beings are still part of the world.

After all, those efforts to gather the world back and repair it followed such a process.

While Alka was contemplating, another piece of information from the Holy Mother flooded his brain, but this time it wasn’t in her words but in brief, unrefined textual information.

It informed Alka of the possible issues if he spreads his fame.

Letting his name spread, as he grows stronger, could achieve a central role.

This would anchor the creatures of the world and stabilize the chaos of the world to some extent, alleviating the mental agony of the world.

Moreover, it could form the most basic barrier with the help of the four gods, defending against threats from the stars. After all, this world’s natural defensive means have long been fragmented and sparse.

Of course, this is voluntary.

The current situation is that most people are willing to spread their fame.

In such a state, ascending will bring one’s stabilizing effect to its peak.

But it’s also difficult to detach from the world, bearing the burden of the duty to restore the world.

The information in his mind did not force Alka to choose anything; with the passage of time, the unwilling ones were countless.

Yet, the vows they previously made and their persistent actions indicated that they would undoubtedly spread their fame widely.

Thinking of this, Alka leaned heavily against the back of the chair.

This world... most of the powerful are more noble than he had imagined.
