Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

The Power of the Holy Mother, according to the description, is a pure, high-concentration Holy Light.

The attributes of Holy Light are diverse. Under normal circumstances, Divine beings aligned with the Order faction almost always wield power with this attribute.

Holy Light is simply a generic term, collectively referring to strong energies that lean towards positivity and order.

Its external manifestation is a sacred aura of light, usually white or white energy mixed with other colors.

However, depending on the source of the power, its attributes may have different orientations.

For example, the punitive aspect of the Holy Mother’s Holy Light is not particularly strong.

Alka didn’t know the specifics, as he had only experienced the manifestation and sensation of power from the Holy Mother’s Holy Light.

Moreover, these were all research findings from books Simon had seen in the Great Library of the Holy Machine Church.

Only in a church like the Holy Machine Church, filled with an atmosphere of scholarship, would believers engage in such acts, which could be considered irreverent towards the Divine.

At least in Alka’s view, this was a good thing.

Alka had also seen such research in the Holy Mother Church, but most of those studies focused on various evil forces.

These books also cited examples of other forms of Holy Light, but since Alka hadn’t personally experienced them, it was difficult for him to distinguish the differences.

Since it was called the Power of the Holy Mother, it certainly needed to carry the attributes of the Holy Mother.

Within their team, three believers of the Holy Mother were capable of wielding pure Power of the Holy Mother.

Chadite had been a Preparatory Saintess; she ultimately didn’t become a Saintess simply because she didn’t want to, not because she lacked the qualifications.

Her faith in the Holy Mother and her talents both met the requirements.

Her father, Andre, was now a Bishop. Although he was serving in the Homeland Sea, his status might not differ much.

Regardless, Alka had seen Chadite use high-concentration Holy Light. He just didn’t know what standard needed to be met for the ’high concentration’ mentioned here.

Jason was another case entirely; his inherent Magic Power was inclined towards the Holy Light attribute.

The main question was whether there had been any slight change after his pact with the Crystal Dragon; at least for now, it seemed there hadn’t been any significant alteration.

However, he might not be able to condense Holy Light Energy to a very high degree.

As for Alka, he could achieve this purely by relying on his status as a Saint and an islander of Home Island.

However, to actually utilize it, he would have to undergo a series of rituals, similar to formal prayers.

Additionally, certain offerings had to be presented.

The offerings didn’t necessarily have to be anything bloody; they just needed to be sincere.

Overall, Alka felt that using the Power of the Holy Mother wouldn’t be a difficult task for them.

But the second requirement, the Power of Life and Death, was challenging.

Initially, he had thought it might be some power from the Life and Death Boundary, but from the descriptions, it was clear.

This power likely originated from the special constitution possessed by this family—the best security measure for the Treasure Vault.

Perhaps it could be replicated through other channels, but Alka believed it certainly wouldn’t be easy.

This was a prominent family, after all. It wouldn’t be that simple; it was quite difficult.

The third requirement was a key made of Ergang.

The three requirements combined seemed simple, perhaps not very secure, but upon closer examination, they were very reasonable.

The family believed in the Holy Mother and could apparently wield high-concentration Holy Mother’s Holy Light Energy. This in itself was a threshold. In a world where the Divine truly existed, someone who believed in the Holy Mother and was capable of wielding high-concentration Holy Mother’s Holy Light Energy had to be a true follower of the Holy Mother. Furthermore, that follower had to embody the Holy Mother’s ideals to achieve it. This inevitably meant that the person using it wouldn’t be of an evil alignment. At the very least, they had to be neutral, leaning towards order and good. Having such individuals steal or forcefully open the Treasure Vault was inherently irrational.

The second threshold was the crux of the matter. One had to utilize the family’s special constitution, using the so-called Power of Life and Death inherent within it, to open the vault. This was the most reasonable and secure measure.

The third requirement was a physical object. A key made of Ergang. This physical object might represent the authority of the family head. Families often liked to establish such symbols.

Examining these conditions, Alka fell into contemplation.

So far, they had only met the first condition, which was also the easiest one.

With this in mind, Alka put the map away and turned to look at Simon.

He asked, ”Simon, have you heard of a material called Ergang?”

Among their team, Simon was undoubtedly the most knowledgeable about minerals.

As a Mechanic, to construct various mechanical bodies, he had to be familiar with almost all known minerals and their structures.

Upon hearing Alka’s question, Simon turned to look at him, then frowned and thought for a moment.

”I’ve heard of it. Not just heard, I even have some.”

”You have it?” Alka’s eyes lit up.

Simon nodded, raising his palm, and then a transparent glass container appeared in his hand.

The container was only about the width and length of a finger. Inside the cylindrical vessel floated an irregular mineral, roughly the size of a little fingernail.

The mineral was silvery-gray and had sharp, tooth-like markings arranged on it.
