Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 694: Chapter 314: Twin Treasures_2

Especially the treasure of the Nafasi Clan.

It was just uncertain whether the requirements for this treasure vault could be met. If not, it would have to be put on hold temporarily.

Thinking of this, Alka stood up. He found everyone in the villa.

”We’ve got work to do. Let’s go.”

Upon hearing Alka’s concise words, everyone quickly gathered their things and followed him.

They went to the small port on the island and boarded the Golden Sail. Once on board, everyone started asking Alka questions.

”Have you confirmed the location? Are we digging for something?” Jason asked from beside him.

Alka nodded. ”Confirmed. If this deal goes through, you might not have to worry about Ulu Liwus’s food anymore.”

Hearing this, Jason’s eyes widened slightly. Even the Crystal Dragon flying in the sky swooped down and flew alongside the ship, because this indicated many shiny things.

The others were also slightly surprised. If just Jason’s share was enough for him not to worry about the Crystal Dragon’s food, then calculating the treasure’s value in Golden Sails, it was certainly in the tens of thousands.

It was important to know that the Crystal Dragon was still growing. As her size increased, her appetite also grew.

Previously, gemstones worth three to four hundred Golden Sails would feed the Crystal Dragon for over half a year. But this time, Jason had exchanged 400 Golden Sails for gemstones, which were almost half consumed on the journey.

A conservative estimate was that 400 Golden Sails worth of gemstones would only be enough for the current Crystal Dragon for four to five months. Not even half a year.

She could now be described as a money-eating machine. She could easily claim she was raised on Golden Sails, and it would not be an exaggeration.

So, the prospect of not having to worry about wealth to this degree was enough to shock everyone.

”Don’t be surprised; I’m not lying to you. I pretty much know where the Nafasi Clan’s treasure vault is,” Alka said, looking at everyone.

Hearing this, everyone frowned. The first thing they thought of was the power needed for this treasure vault. They all knew this clan’s strength well—enough to deter them. A family treasure vault like this must be well-guarded. Coupled with this clan’s strength, is it really something they could covet now?

Judging by their might on Gemini Island, although the Nafasi Clan aligned with the Holy Mother’s faction, their own strength was enough to challenge the island’s Church. Just those three ”Crowned Ones” were enough; any force on the island would have a tough time.

The difficulty in obtaining such a family treasure vault was conceivable.

”The difficulty must be high, right?” Chadite asked from the side.

Alka nodded. ”Indeed, it’s very high, but at least there are some clues.”

The group continued forward, first arriving at the blue marker indicating the [Mermaid Relics]. This area was also a swamp, no different from other regions, stretching as far as the eye could see. They looked at the layer of green vines underwater and the plants spread over them.

”Below here?” Jason glanced down and asked.

Alka shook his head. ”No. Below here lies something left by a dead merfolk.”

Hearing this, Julia looked at him.

”It’s right below here. Pororo, Julia, and Matilda, the three of you go down and take a look,” Alka instructed.

Hearing Alka’s words, the three nodded. If it was underwater, then indeed, the three of them were the most suitable.

Alka pinpointed the exact location for them. Pororo tore open a gap in the vines. The three of them dived in together, disappearing from sight above.

”Can you feel your kind?” Matilda turned her head to ask Julia. She remembered hearing similar legends before. Pororo also slowed his descent, waiting for Julia’s response.

Julia shook her head and said, ”If this kinswoman of mine were still alive, I would feel her presence when nearby. I could even try to communicate with her from a distance. But since she’s dead, unless she deliberately set up a similar signal, it’s hard for me to detect her.”

The three chatted as they continued swimming down. The surrounding sea was unusually dark, even though they had only just left the surface. The layer of vines on the sea surface almost completely blocked the sunlight from reaching the seabed, making the seawater here exceptionally cold and dark.

A cool, haunting song drifted towards them.

AH, LA, LA...

”Singing? Did you hear that?” Pororo and Matilda asked.

The two who were swimming down immediately halted. They glanced at each other and then looked at Julia with confusion.

Seeing their puzzled looks, Julia immediately understood. This was a voice only she could hear, so it was almost certainly the beacon left by the deceased merfolk. Either she needed help from her kin before she died, or she needed them to retrieve her body after death.

”I’ll go,” Julia said.

With that, Julia swam forward, and the other two followed closely behind. It seemed Julia had sensed something.

Following the direction from which the song came, they swam quickly. The song was similar to Julia’s but distinctly different in tone.

Finally, a small figure appeared in their line of sight. Julia quickly swished her fishtail.

The three of them accelerated abruptly, arriving beside the figure. It was a merfolk, her appearance distinctly different from Julia’s.
