Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

There was an inexplicable feeling of being back on course, on the path of progress. But such awareness had long been present on the open sea. It was just Jason complaining again.

”It really has been quite a long time,” Alka said, though it was clearly worth it.

After all, it was a place with numerous Holy Grail Level treasures, two Scepter Level treasures, and one Crown Level treasure. For me, this area holds immense attraction. Even if I don’t go now, I certainly won’t be able to avoid it in the future. I’m now close to 19 Spirals. When I left Trial Island, I’d already broken through to 18 Spirals. After the intervening voyage, plus the days spent on this island, it might not take many more days and nights to break through again. Then, I’ll only be 8 Spirals away from the Perfection of the Third Stage, 27 Spirals. At my current Meditation rate, if it really takes 250 days and nights, by the time I reach that island, my strength will certainly be enough to achieve the Perfection of the Third Stage. Perhaps I might even have broken through to the Fourth Stage by then; in that case, I’ll have more than enough strength to search for treasures. So, no matter how many days and nights sailing on the sea, it’s within a range I can accept.

「Night fell.」

Alka returned to his room and immersed himself in the Dream Realm.

He looked at his vast Dream Bubbles, the environment within them already completely transformed to resemble the Dream Forest.

Breaking open a bubble, he arrived outside.

Outside was still the Mirror World within the Mirror Surface, the King’s Palace Alka himself had created.

Countless white, fog-like creatures drifted around.

The reason these fog-like creatures drifted here was that Alka had previously used the stag-head mask, causing him to exude a similar aura. Additionally, he had linked with the world and, through the energy of gold and silver and a special power, had briefly communicated with it. This inevitably made his spirit generate a certain allure within the Dream Realm. At least to these fog-like creatures, it was an attraction.

Being Natural Essence inherently, they regarded Alka as a powerful member working to restore the world.

Not to mention, there was a dream stag within Alka’s Dream Bubbles.

The young prototype of Mirmi did not just wander within Alka’s Dream Bubbles. When Alka was not around, it would also help maintain the order and environment of the Mirror World’s Dream Palace.

Therefore, Alka had also granted phantom access to the Mirror Surface of the Dream Realm’s Mirror World.

”Power is still growing… sigh, can’t it just stop for a bit? I need to find a way to slow it down,” Alka said helplessly, holding his forehead as he stood in the Dream Palace.

My Dream Realm Authority, my identity as a Divine Descendant of the Dream God, the Mirror Palace with this large swarm of fog-like creatures living around it, my vast Dream Bubbles, and the life created within them... plus, most importantly, phantom’s meticulous management. All these seemed like good things, but the result was that I did nothing, yet my power in the Dream Realm kept growing. My own strength doesn’t even qualify me as one of the weakest Dream Realm Kings. The Mirmi of old belonged to the weakest batch of Dream Realm Kings, and I’m even weaker than that. That’s why I can always feel my strength improving so rapidly. I feel like I could break through my current stage and reach a new level at any moment. In my estimation, that would be reaching the Fifth Stage—the Fifth Stage in dreams. But the problem is, my physical body in reality is only at 19 Spirals; I haven’t even reached the Perfection of the Third Stage yet. The disparity between my mental and physical strength is too vast. The split, which had previously eased slightly, had begun to widen even more. My physical body is desperately trying to catch up. I don’t want to become a purely spiritual being in the Dream World. That would drive me mad.

The crystals used to combine with the Magic Gathering Stone for strength growth were a result of his own research.

But even so, my growth speed in reality pales in comparison to my growth speed in the Dream Realm. My advantage in the Dream Realm is simply too great. This is compounded by the fog-like creatures frantically gathering around the Palace, which are now beginning to submit to me. The power of my Dream Realm Authority is increasing further.

Telling phantom to stop doesn’t seem right either; after all, she’s doing it for me, meticulously managing the entire Palace, and doing an excellent job. This feeling of my strength wildly increasing while I just stand here, doing nothing, not even needing to cultivate, is admittedly quite good. Simultaneously, it also spurs further enhancement in reality, as the influence between spirit and body is mutual. Although the strength originates from the Dream Realm, and substantial barriers exist between the Dream Realm and reality, the gap inevitably grows larger and larger. I must find a way. If it really comes to it, my only option is the last resort: to expel all those fog-like creatures living in the Palace and tell phantom to stop her activities. But that loss would be too great. It would mean that I, this brand-new king, rejected all dream creatures. The signal I had once sent out was to welcome the fog-like creatures; if I expelled them now, trying to restore the current flourishing scene would be exceedingly difficult. These dream creatures aren’t really brainless. They are merely Natural Essence, and they place most of their focus on saving the world.
