Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 693: Chapter 314: Twins

Chadite finished drawing the map and handed it to Alka. Alka took the map to a nearby table and examined it carefully. This map depicted an island and a large area of swamp. On the island, there were two white light points, while the surrounding swamp had five points in total: three blue and two white.

Alka decided to ignore the two white points on the island. The island was too small and had been converted into a fortress. People were constantly moving about almost everywhere on it, and since Alka and his companions weren’t residents, they would be very conspicuous. Wherever they might search or dig, it would be far too noticeable. No matter how valuable these two white points were, they weren’t worth the risk; abandoning them was the best choice.

Alka then turned his attention to the five points in the surrounding swamp areas, clicking on them one by one. He prepared to see which Treasure, if any, would provide at least some information. This was Alka’s usual tactic when encountering a new map: click through them sequentially. He clicked on two white points and one blue point. The information provided didn’t even reveal the name of the Treasure. Essentially, I know nothing about these.

He reached out once again and clicked on another white point. This time, the information changed:

[Mermaid Relics]

[Difficulty: Deep Diver (Second Stage)]

[Fame: 0]

[Treasure Information: The belongings left by a deceased merfolk.]

Mermaid Relics? A blue Treasure... that should be something related to a Spell. Judging by the Difficulty, Deep Diver likely refers to someone who can dive deep into the sea. A merfolk died in the sea, so Julia could easily reach it. For safety’s sake, this Treasure could be retrieved by Pororo and the other two. From the name alone, it seems this Treasure isn’t protected or hidden by anything special.

After briefly analyzing this information, Alka looked at the final blue point. At least one blue point has information; the others are irrelevant for now. Looking at the last blue point, Alka clicked on it.

[Nafasi Clan Treasure Vault]

[Difficulty: Believer Bloodline]

[Fame: 215,000]

[Treasure Information: The Treasure Vault used by the Nafasi Clan to store their family Treasures, containing a century of accumulation. Following the sudden demise of the entire family, a vast fortune has been left behind. To obtain the Treasure, one needs to open the vault’s doors. That requires the Light of the Holy Mother, the Power of Life and Death, and the Key of Ao Steel.]

Looking at the information revealed by this blue point, Alka fell silent. He hadn’t expected to encounter the Nafasi Clan’s Treasure here—the one they had previously given up on. Just as they had anticipated, the Treasure was indeed in the Sea of Moisture region. And with the knowledge they already possessed, they had almost fully uncovered the Treasure Information.

However, Alka hadn’t expected the point indicating the family’s wealth to be blue, not gold. A family with over ten Fourth Stage and several Sixth Stage members... their family Treasure Vault actually has no golden Treasures? That’s puzzling. But on second thought, it seems comprehensible. For such a family, Treasures are necessary and practical. Such Treasures would surely be distributed among family members. Treasures are much more useful when actively used than when simply stored away. Even for such valuable items, it would be more rational for important family members to carry them personally rather than keeping them locked in a vault.

Alka observed the Difficulty revealed by the Treasure Information. The listed Difficulty seemed genuine, with no strength requirements mentioned. This means the family didn’t place any protective devices around these Treasures. Perhaps there were once guardians, but with the entire family’s demise, any guardians would naturally have perished as well. So, certain conditions must be met to enter this Treasure Vault.

The Fame level is also understandable; after all, their renown on Gemini Island was significant. Moreover, the Treasure Information displayed is enough to justify spending considerable effort to acquire this vault. The Nafasi Clan’s century of accumulation... If I remember correctly, this family had been developing for about 700 years. At its peak, they had three Crowned Ones and fourteen Staff Holders. They might not have been the absolute strongest, but they were definitely considered a renowned force. From the family’s strength alone, one can imagine the sheer amount of wealth buried within this Treasure Vault. If I can acquire it, I’ll definitely make a huge fortune!

However, what made Alka frown were the three conditions required to unlock this Treasure Vault. After all, it’s a vault; it must have a key to open. A powerful family would undoubtedly have an absolutely rational yet well-concealed process for opening their vault. Light of the Holy Mother... I can’t quite grasp what that means right now. The light of the Holy Mother... is it Holy Light? Or perhaps some more special kind of Holy Light? Alka couldn’t be sure. Power of Life and Death... this name likely refers to the power from the Life and Death Boundary region. Being so close, it’s hard not to consider that possibility. Key of Ao Steel... that sounds like an actual key. But that’s about all I can deduce for now. Although the Treasure Information is extensively detailed, if I can’t fulfill the conditions, there’s no way to unlock it.

Alka had now reviewed all the Treasure points on this map. The objective naturally became clear: the two blue points that had revealed their information.
