Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Chapter 242: Chapter 241: We Are Not the Villains; We Are the Promoters of History (End)

Although Fang Zheng said that, Shana realized immediately upon seeing Nanoka for the first time that they definitely would not get along.

“Hello, my name is Nanoka…”

“I am Shana.”

Observing Nanoka, who was dressed in a maid outfit and nervously greeting her, Shana furrowed her brows and clearly showed a look of dissatisfaction.

There was only one reason — the other’s chest was too big!

How could there be such a difference?! Why could they grow so large? That’s not scientific at all! What on earth is going on!

Staring at Nanoka’s chest, Shana then glanced at Tilia next to her, then looked at herself. As a Fire Mist Warrior with a sharp eye, she could accurately judge the sizes of those two bulges. Strictly speaking, Nanoka had the largest chest among the three, which, in Shana’s view, was comparable to her classmate Yoshida Kazumi. Tilia’s was about half the size of hers, and as for herself…

Shana lowered her head and could directly see the ground beneath her feet.

“…”

She must be a very weak Fire Mist Warrior, this physique is too unsuitable for battle!

“Alright, let’s sit down and talk.”

Fang Zheng greeted them, and then everyone sat down. They were in a cafe, where there were quite a few people, but not too many. However, Fang Zheng seemed not to care, and Shana obediently sat opposite him, curiously sizing him up.

“You’ve been gone for so long, what have you been up to?”

“Just roaming around… what else? The world is so vast, it’s better to go out and broaden one’s horizons, oh, by the way…”

While speaking, Fang Zheng nonchalantly added some milk to the coffee in front of him.

“I also became the boss of the Masquerade Ball, incidentally.”

“What?”

“You said what?”

Perhaps due to Fang Zheng’s casual expression, both Shana and Aralastor didn’t realize what he said at first, but Fang Zheng’s expression remained unchanged as he just shrugged and then stirred his coffee with a spoon.

“In other words, I’m now the main boss of the Masquerade Ball; I have the final say over everything there… Hmm, that doesn’t sound quite imposing enough.”

“Stop joking around!”

Regaining her senses, Shana immediately frowned and glared at the man in front of her.

“The Masquerade Ball is the most powerful organization among the Followers of the Crimson Realm, why would they choose you as their leader?”

“Probably because they think I am the Ritual Snake?”

“That joke isn’t funny at all, Fang Zheng.”

Now even Aralastor lost his composure, and his voice also had a hint of seriousness.

“The Ritual Snake is supposed to be…”

“Alright, seeing is believing, and hearing is not. I can talk all I want, but you wouldn’t understand, so let me show you.”

While speaking, Fang Zheng raised his hand.

“Seal.”

Accompanied by Fang Zheng’s gesture, everything around them suddenly changed.

Black flames soared into the sky, rapidly expanding, and in the blink of an eye the entire city was enveloped within it. Quickly, the sky darkened, and everything around seemed to become colorless as if covered by darkness.

“Honestly, I’m not fond of this stuff; it looks too much like a villain’s doing…”

Watching the Seal, Fang Zheng sighed helplessly. At that moment, Shana suddenly jumped up and rapidly backed away from Fang Zheng, with flames surging up, a sharp blade materialized, aiming at the enemy in front of her.

“Fang, Fang Zheng, what on earth is going on?”

No wonder Shana looked so tense at the moment, as just when Fang Zheng released the black flames, she unexpectedly sensed a strong aura of the Follower of the Crimson Realm from the man in front of her!

How could that be possible? He was clearly a human, not a Follower of the Crimson Realm!

“Come on, you’re scared off so easily? You really lack composure. I wonder if all that training I gave you was a waste of time… You’ve been slacking off recently, haven’t you.” ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com

Facing the tense Shana, Fang Zheng tapped his coffee cup unconcernedly, while Tilia beside him appeared quite at ease, picking up a fork to delicately enjoy a piece of cake. Only Nanoka, surprised, widened her eyes and screamed, looking at Shana.

“Wow, wow, look, Sanya, it really is Fiery Eye, so cool!!”

“…”

“…”

For some reason, looking at this Fire Mist Warrior before her, Shana found she could not muster any will to fight…. Besides, perhaps what Fang Zheng said made some sense?

“Sit down, I don’t like this Seal either; I wouldn’t open it if not to prove something to you.”

“……okay then.”

As Shana eyed the man before her, indistinguishable from the one in her memories, she hesitated briefly before she ultimately sheathed her great sword and sat down again in front of Fang Zheng. Sealing quickly retracted, and soon, everything returned to normal.

“So, what exactly is going on?”

At this moment, Aralastor’s voice also grew much more solemn. If a moment ago he and Shana might have thought the other was joking, now, Aralastor was certain that the man before him indeed possessed the power of the Ritual Snake, God of Creation. But why was he here?

“It’s a bit too complex to explain simply, but in short, I now share the will of the Ritual Snake, and I quite admire its upcoming plans, so I decided to lend a hand. Coming here, firstly, was to check on Shana’s condition, and secondly… I have a matter I would like to discuss with you, Aralastor.”

“Plan?”

Upon hearing this, Aralastor was instantly astonished.

“What plan? You don’t mean to tell me he’s planning to create a new ‘Great Shackles’?”

“Give me a break, the Ritual Snake isn’t that petty.”

Facing Aralastor’s retort, Fang Zheng waved his hand dismissively.

“Though it’s still a secret for now, considering our upcoming discussion, it won’t be a secret to you anymore… well, you remember the place where the Ritual Snake was banished, right?”

“Are you referring to…the gap between the two realms?”

“Exactly!”

Hearing Aralastor’s response, Fang Zheng nodded.

“Don’t imagine that sealing the Ritual Snake for three thousand years would dampen its spirit. In fact, this God of Creation now has a new idea. The ‘Great Shackles’ are too petty—what it plans is to create an entirely new world in the gap where it was banished! An infinitely vast universe, hence, it can completely replicate the current world—an exact copy named Void Domain. Everything there will be identical to here, brimming with infinite Power of Existence. Not only that, this world will also serve as a barrier between the two realms, meaning that from then on, Followers of the Crimson Realm will no longer be able to cross the gap to this world; Void Domain will block their path like a city wall. For the Followers of the Crimson Realm, I think a world filled with endless Power of Existence will certainly be much better than this current, power-depleted world. Moreover, by then, I will call upon all Followers of the Crimson Realm to leave this world and head to the new one, in the name of the God of Creation…”

At this, Fang Zheng spread his arms, a smug smile playing across his features.

“How about it? Isn’t this plan great? So, we are not the villains, rather, we are the movers of history! From now on, it’s the dawn of a new era!”

“………”

Faced with Fang Zheng’s speech, Shana and Aralastor were stunned. They had thought that since it was a plan by the God of Creation, it would definitely be no small matter, but they had not anticipated that it would be of such a monumental scale!

He was actually planning to create a world!

“……Aralastor?”

“……Indeed, he still intends to manipulate the very existence of our world, doesn’t he?”

Faced with Shana’s anxious retort, Aralastor clenched his teeth, his voice tinged with regret.

“We must put a stop to his tyranny!”

“Why?”

Hearing Aralastor’s words, Nanoka suddenly grew restless.

“Isn’t that good? After the Void Domain is created, the Followers of the Crimson Realm will no longer come to this world, and everyone won’t have to worry about being devoured. Isn’t this a good thing? Moreover, all the Followers of the Crimson Realm staying in this world will follow the God of Creation to the new world. This world then won’t have to worry about invasions from the Followers of the Crimson Realm anymore, right?”

Nanoka couldn’t understand why such good news was opposed by the Demon God before her.

“Because……”

Faced with Nanoka’s inquiry, Aralastor seemed to struggle to speak, while Fang Zheng snorted dismissively watching the amulet before him.

“Because if you speak it aloud, it would mean that your thousands of years of lies will be shattered, right?”

“Lies?”

Hearing this, Shana looked at Fang Zheng with surprise.

“What lies?”

“Simple.”

Faced with Shana’s curious gaze, Fang Zheng spread his hands.

“You know, Fire Mist Warriors hunt the Followers of the Crimson Realm not only for vengeance but also because these Followers consume humans, draining their Power of Existence, thereby causing the world to distort. This results in storms forming in the gap between the two realms, leading to catastrophic disasters that even the Crimson Realm could be drawn into… right?”

“Yes… what’s wrong with that?”

Shana nodded, as this was what the Fire Mist Warriors had always been informed.

“That’s just a tale for fools.”

And Fang Zheng scoffed at it.
