From Arsenal to the Ball God

”Haha, are you crazy?!”

”.....”

This gathering seemed to not need anyone to liven up the atmosphere; it was lively from the start, with everyone laughing and immersing themselves in Ma’el’s joy.

Ma’el looked at them, as if he had returned to yesterday. His emotions were stirred, and he quickly drank a lot of alcohol.

”Whew.....!”

He opened his heart and talked a lot with everyone, sharing all the unforgettable moments of joy from the past year with his family and friends, and also laughingly talked about the times he might have felt were setbacks.

Such a grand reunion is rare.

He cherished it greatly, hoping that at the end of his career, he could invite everyone he met along the way to sit together and have a good chat about everything they’ve been through.

”Wuhu!”

”How does that song that fans often sing go? Dang dang dang dang..... I have a friend! Haha!”

”Come on, everyone, together!”

”Let’s raise a glass for Ma’el!”

The atmosphere on site remained lively until past nine in the evening, with Pepeño and Davis, some older members, being the first to head home to sleep.

Next were Safina and Isabella, Clément and Betty, and others, who sat by the sofa chatting and eating fruit plates after drinking too much, no longer sitting with the group.

Finally, when Sheffield’s trio also started feeling the effects, Ma’el knew it was time to end the day.

He stood up, a bit unsteady on his feet, but still insisted on seeing everyone to the door.

”We’re going to stay at a hotel; I also have to attend a BBC program tomorrow.”

Gilbert waved to Ma’el, his face flushed as he shrugged slightly helplessly, ”Hmm... still talking about you, everyone’s been going crazy these days, why not go and see?”

”I won’t watch.”

Ma’el shook his head with a smile, finding a life like this to be good, far from the hustle and bustle, just staying with those he trusted and was close to.

”Bye!” Garrispeed had drunk a lot, and with Jorson’s support barely made his way to the backseat of the car.

Ma’el waved goodbye to him, standing in place until they left, with a hint of reluctance in his eyes.

He wondered when everyone would meet here next, hoping it wouldn’t be too long.

”Vroom vroom vroom.....!” The car engine roared, Jorson seated in the car igniting it, turning on the car lights, picking something up from the front desk, and then got out again, standing by the car.

He took out sunglasses, awkwardly trying to put them on, nearly poking his eye.

”Oh....!” Ma’el laughed, pointing at him, knowing Jorson was trying to pull off some act here again.

”Hahaha....!” Jorson laughed wildly, humorously mimicking that day from years ago, ”Get in the car, lads, don’t mind my beat-up pickup, you’ll be comfortable once we reach the train station.”

Ma’el watched him, wanting to laugh heartily at the funny scene, but couldn’t help the tears from welling up.

He waved vigorously, bidding farewell to several people, ”See you next time, hope we all become better.”

Gilbert had nearly the same expression, turning to look at Ma’el, tilting his chin and said, ”Ma’el, I’m getting on the car, but this time you’re not coming with me, I’m going ahead of you!”

Ma’el knew he was complaining that they hadn’t walked together over the past year.

He exhaled deeply, promising, ”Don’t regret it, I’ve said countless times, greater success awaits ahead for both of us.”

As countless times before, Gilbert turned back with a smile, pointed at Ma’el and winked, ”I believe you! Brother!”

Ma’el turned boldly, as if not wanting them to see his expression, just waved his hand with his back to the crowd and then went inside.

Time flies, each of them will also remember this day, smiling knowingly whenever they think of it.

Soon after sending off all his friends and family, and watching the team members enter the house.

Ma’el picked up Isabelle, who was waiting for him on the sofa, and laughed, ”Now it’s just the two of us.”

”What shall we do?”

”Just do it.”

...

In the next few days, Ma’el gradually adjusted and focused on the upcoming European Cup, also restarting his extra training plan.

Without the constraints of a schedule, he could spend the whole day improving himself.

With a Physical Ability at Level 4, as long as he ensured a reasonable training plan, he wouldn’t feel too exhausted.

The skill level of each skill began to rise quickly accordingly... He wasn’t caught up in tangents, not pursuing collective advancement, instead more focused on practicing Long Shot which was soon to reach Level 5.

The arrival of the first Level 5 skill was soon!

”Clink clang bang.....!”

Isabella had been staying at his house these days, and each day she could move in a heap of things, including her daily necessities and all kinds of small furniture she liked.

Initially, Ma’el was a bit worried, but after a few days, he found that the house didn’t seem cluttered but rather orderly, more and more beautiful, enhancing the living experience greatly.

It must be said that everyone has their own talents, and this happens to be Isabella’s specialty; she indeed could arrange the house well.

”It’s simply beautiful! Very artistic and designed aesthetic!”

”Harry, what do you think?”

”Yeah...it’s very good!”

”I feel the same way.”

His team members also provided Isabella with lots of emotional support, keeping her motivated and joyful as she decorated every corner.

On May 21st, Ma’el made up his mind and called Pepeño, ”This house was found by you originally, please contact the owner for me, I want to buy it.
