From Arsenal to the Ball God

”Hey, by the way.” He suddenly had a new idea. ”How about we team up and shoot a documentary?”

”A documentary?”

There was confusion in Deschamps’ voice, but then he realized and started laughing, ”I get what you mean, like doing a video similar to the ’Spain European Cup Victory Documentary’?

”That could work, I have no objections on my end, but if it’s a long video, you’ll need to pay about 400,000 Euros in image rights fees to the French Football Federation to symbolically purchase the team’s image rights.

”And you need to be prepared that if we don’t win the championship, this kind of documentary won’t be aired, and the money would be wasted.”

”I understand.”

Ma’el felt a rush of joy inside, and after chatting leisurely with Deschamps for a bit, he hung up the phone.

The idea of shooting a documentary was partly to document his journey in his first major tournament, and naturally, to boost the reputation and profitability of ’Football Record.’

If the France team doesn’t win, there’s nothing to say... But once they do win, this kind of documentary would be extremely attractive to the fans.

Not only for France team fans but also for other passionate fans.

They’d love to see how a championship team climbs to the throne step by step, how the players react when facing setbacks and difficulties, and how they celebrate when they advance to the next round.

It’s safe to say that as long as the France team wins, such a documentary will be a global hit!

’Football Record’ could first broadcast it themselves, making their name resound more loudly and authoritatively in the football world... Then sell the broadcasting rights to major film and television platforms worldwide, earning the company a big profit.

”For me and other players in the France team, this is also a source of motivation.”

Ma’el murmured to himself, starting the documentary early can show their ambition and confidence in winning the championship, which makes him and other players subconsciously desire the championship even more.

From any angle, it’s worth trying for 400,000 Euros.

As long as he had this idea, and Deschamps was willing to give him face and shooting opportunities, why not?

As he re-entered the room, Ma’el had a satisfied smile on his face, which Peter and Amelia noticed, exchanging a knowing smile.

”Not only do we have all the permissions, but we can also shoot a documentary.”

Ma’el shared the good news with them, explaining his thoughts in detail.

The more they listened, the brighter their eyes became, and in the end, they couldn’t help but applaud. Their gaze towards Ma’el was full of surprise and admiration.

”It’s not just the France team.”

After Ma’el finished everything, he stood up and continued, ”With this experience, next season, we will also shoot a documentary for Arsenal.

”I believe Arsenal’s performance this season makes everyone believe they will be a strong contender for all the championships next season... We can start filming from the beginning of the season until the end.”

His eyes were full of anticipation, ”Just wait and see if the final title will be ’Double Crown’ Record, ’Triple Crown’ Record, or even more.”

”Great!” Peter clapped his hands again, now the company’s future development path seemed much clearer.

He also believed this path would definitely lead to prosperity, with the newspaper continuing its rapid growth from last season.

Imagine... European Cup frontline reporting resources + the opportunity to shoot a documentary for the France team; ’Ma’el’ and ’Arsenal’ column programs + the opportunity to shoot the championship documentary for Arsenal.

With such good resources, so many opportunities, if they can’t elevate the newspaper to another level, how poor must their operation be?

”Simply unbelievable.”

Amelia also sighed, she never expected they’d have more work to do, and such a lucrative project at that.

One can imagine, if the France team and Arsenal win championships next season, how much traffic and attention they’ll receive when the documentaries are broadcast!

After discussing this, the two stood up to say goodbye, eager to start planning the filming.

The boss had given them so much; they definitely had to show their commitment, otherwise, wouldn’t it let Ma’el down?

”Wait a moment.”

Ma’el, with a smile, stopped them, saying that after partying with his club teammates yesterday, today it was time to celebrate with family and friends, which was indispensable.

”There’s a party at my place today, stay and join in.” He invited them.

Peter and Amelia exchanged glances, paused, and turned back. Clearly tempted, the opportunity to celebrate with a Double Crown star is very rare.

”Come on.” Ma’el invited with a smile again, indicating they should sit down. He was going to make some calls to invite more people.

”Alright.”

Peter agreed, sitting on the sofa, hands on his knees, full of joy, ”This is such an honor, it’s overwhelming, haha...”

Compared to Ma’el’s team members and other friends, they were not as close to Ma’el and had not socialized outside of work before.

This time they had the chance to attend a party together, which indeed made them feel unexpected.

Amelia took out her phone and opened the camera to check her makeup, ”I’ll take some pictures later to post on Twitter, to make others jealous.”

”I will too.” Isabella also raised her hand with a smile. She glanced at Ma’el’s back, feeling impulsive about announcing their relationship.

However, since Ma’el was a public figure, she knew she must get his consent first.
