From Arsenal to the Ball God

The first major team honor and a £4 million bonus are coming!

After this goal, the first half of the match quickly ended, and the players from both sides returned to the locker room for rest.

”Haha...!”

”Yaha...!”

In front of the dejected figures of the Manchester City players, the Arsenal players ran joyfully into the player tunnel, engaging in playful antics, many specifically waving in front of Nasri.

This made the French midfielder put on a sullen face, his emotions mixed as he lowered his head and pursed his lips.

...

”We are the champions...We are the champions...!!!”

When the second half started, Ma’el noticed that Arsenal fans in the stands had already started singing Queen’s championship song, celebrating in advance.

He radiated unique brilliance, waving his hand and singing along with them while glancing at a section of the stands which displayed dozens of banners about him.

Before the first half started, he saw two blank pages among the banners, but now there was only one left.

A scribbled banner appeared there, presumably freshly drawn depicting his shooting action for the 39th goal.

He laughed happily; in the second half, he aimed to fill that last blank page with content too.

”Beep!”

The referee immediately blew the whistle for the start of the second half, and Van Persie kicked off for Arsenal from the center circle as the team began possession play.

”Sha la la...Sha la la...!!”

The fans stood up collectively, jostling and jumping in excitement, driving the match atmosphere...unless utterly exhausted, they would continue jumping until the match ended.

”Beep beep!”

At the 55th minute of the match, Manchester City made two substitution adjustments, Nasri and Aguero were off, Pizarro and Davis came on.

”Clang!”

Six minutes later, Ma’el’s violent strike hit the crossbar, and Arsenal fans held their heads in regret, ”Ah.....!”

As the match time passed 70 minutes, the scene was ablaze with excitement, everyone on the verge of bursting.

By the 82nd minute, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles stood up, clapping and waiting for the moment of the final whistle.

”Boom!”

”Clap!”

At the 87th minute, Ma’el’s inside dipping shot was deflected behind the goal line by Joe Hart; he showed no regret, instantly turning to look at the time on the scoreboard.

Seeing the match nearing its end, he high-fived Van Persie beside him, fully prepared for celebration.

Arsenal players were getting restless, many no longer concentrating on the game, a wave of impatience pervading everyone.

They had waited too long!

Before the corner kick was taken, Ma’el moved to the top of the D area, noticing Manchester City players seemed to have given up on the match, entering the penalty area numbly to defend, and no one was outside the area.

Chance!

He nodded to Rosicky, who was about to take the kick, unsure if he was seen, just lowering his center of gravity and making ready.

”Boom!”

Rosicky’s corner kick went out, the ball didn’t head for the small penalty area nearby, wasn’t high either.

It was a half-high ball, bouncing once in the middle, heading outside the penalty area!

Ma’el watching the incoming ball, became completely excited, deeply inhaled, transferring his focus onto his left leg, body inclined to that side, while his right leg swung up like a scimitar.

”Boom!!”

The scimitar struck the ball sideways, altering its path and enhancing its velocity, racing towards the upper right corner of the goal.

Along the route, Sagna was directly on the ball’s path, hastily ducking his head to avoid further deflection.

Joe Hart remained motionless, in truth by the time he spotted the ball, it was already above the small penalty area.

Such a miracle ball, he stood no chance of saving it.

”Swish!” A crisp netting sound echoed, as the ball landed hard on the top corner, pushed the net backward.

Goal again!

Three to nil!

”Aaahhh...Yeahhh...!!” More than fifty thousand Arsenal fans screamed hysterically, definitely a match-winning goal, the championship was in hand!

”Ohhhhaha.....!!” Cheers from outside quickly merged with the noise within.

During the broadcast, they likely hadn’t yet seen the goal, but merely hearing the Emirates Stadium’s noise, they could deduce Arsenal had scored.

”Ma-ehl...! Ma-ehl...!”

Fans inside started chanting Ma’el’s name, communicating to those outside who led them to victory!

”It’s in again! Extraterrestrial strike!! Volley slash!!”

Inside the broadcast room, Zhan Jun looked awestruck and slightly dumbfounded, ”Ma’el scored his 40th goal in the league! It’s Premier League’s first 4-goal prefix player since its establishment!!”

”In a single match, achieving breakthroughs of 40 goals and 20 assists! Completing a 60+! This definitely stands as an important day for the player!”

”No suspense left, Arsenal is about to lift the 14th top-tier league title in history! Also Wenger era’s 4th Premier League title!

”7-years steadfastness finally bears fruit at this moment! I suggest everyone read The Guardian’s long article, once finished you’ll know why Arsenal blooms so brilliantly this time!”

”.....”

Inside Emirates Stadium, lights were radiant, dozens of flashlights illuminated every corner.

Yet, everyone’s gaze focused on one person, as if he alone stole all the spotlight.

”Champion!”

In the VIP area, Isabella put Eva down on the ground, bounced around hugging her best friend Aisha, then high-fiving Safina.

Witnessing Ma’el lead Arsenal to the championship this way, her inner pride was indescribable, wishing now to be on the pitch, bestowing a passionate kiss on Ma’el.
