Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 450: Chapter 450: Try Calling the Cops, I Dare You

Over there, Mia Lane anxiously said, ”Don’t come closer! He won’t do anything to me! It’s dangerous here!”

Elias Colton’s eyes turned cold, and he raised his hand to fire a shot at the pillar!

Bang!

The gunshot echoed through the video into the brothers’ ears, making their hearts tighten!

Mia suddenly fell silent!

The camera focused on Elias Colton as he handed the pistol to a subordinate next to him, who helped him gently wipe it.

”Mia!” Justin Kingston panicked, ”What did you do to her?!”

Elias Colton, however, just slightly curled his lips and let out a sigh.

The bullet grazed Mia, terrifying her! Her face turned pale, and she couldn’t utter a single word.

The bullet pierced through her sleeve but did not touch her skin.

”How much do you want?!” Justin Kingston grabbed the phone from his brother’s hand and asked as calmly as he could, ”I’ll give you double the money! Just let her go!”

He was convinced that Mia was still alive, and Elias Colton’s objective hadn’t been achieved, so he couldn’t have acted so quickly.

”No, no, no.” The other party shook his head, appearing indifferent to fame and fortune, ”Why would I need double the money? I have just one mouth, one body, can’t eat much, can’t wear many clothes.”

”...” He didn’t play by the rules.

”I have quite a record, and now that you’re after me, it’s uncertain when I’ll fall into the police’s hands,” Elias Colton said, ”Money, to me, is just something external.”

”External? And still, you ask for a king’s ransom?!” Mia Lane accused him bitterly, ”Elias Colton! Stop this!”

”Stop?” It seemed he heard a new term, ”I’m a dying man, you know? Before I die, I’m taking someone down with me, either you or Anton Ford will die!”

”Give me the address!” Anton Miller snatched the phone from Justin Kingston and said to the screen, ”I’m coming!”

”Good.” Elias Colton smirked as if he had won the first half of a game, ”The matter of life is settled; now let’s talk money. Hand the phone to Justin Kingston.”

Justin Kingston seized back the phone, ”Elias Colton, if you dare harm Mia Lane even a little, I’ll destroy your entire family! I’m telling you one last time, you can have the money, any amount! But you must ensure her safety.”

”If you call the police, I can’t guarantee that.” The other party arrogantly replied, ”And even with double the money, you can’t buy off Anton Ford’s life.”

With a cold laugh, he continued, ”To be honest, I have no personal hatred with your wife, and never intended to hurt her. All I want is for Anton Ford to go to hell!”

Before the brothers could respond, Elias Colton added, ”Ten billion isn’t much for CEO Kingston. I’ll give you two hours to prepare; I’ll send the account info to Anton Ford’s WeChat in two hours. I need to see the money first.”

”Just give me the address, damn it!” Anton Miller roared, unable to sit still, ”Without the address, how do you expect me to deliver a life to your doorstep?!”

”No rush on life; I’ll receive the money first, see your sincerity. Life for a life; a kind reminder, the woman’s life is in your own hands.” With that, he switched the camera again.

The image of Mia Lane, hands bound and controlled by someone, appeared in front of the brothers, causing them immense heartache.

Elias Colton said, ”If you dare call the police, I promise you’ll regret it.”

”Don’t come! There’s gasoline all over the ground here!” Mia screamed, ”He’s gone mad, one spark, and everyone goes up in flames.”

After conveying this crucial information, Elias Colton ended the video call.

Her words were more convincing than if he had said them himself.

Gasoline?

Justin Kingston and Anton Miller clearly heard this keyword.

Too dangerous!

They couldn’t help but break out in a cold sweat for Mia.
