Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 409: Chapter 409: Need to Hide

Mia Lane, who was just about to get in the car, stopped and looked back at him, his eyes filled with increasing anger.

”Get out of here!! Have you sorted out your own family affairs?!” he asked angrily, ”Are you supporting your parents?! Making any progress at work?! Got plans for the future?! What’s the point of being a fan?! Get lost!”

The fans were frightened by his demeanour; they had come over just to stir up trouble for money.

Realizing things weren’t in their favor, these people quickly dispersed...

Mia Lane glanced at Justin Kingston and pulled him toward Anton Miller again.

Anton Miller stood on the steps, his fists clenched tightly, his face extremely grim.

He arrogantly drove the fans away.

”Anton Ford, fans are like water, and you are the boat,” Mia Lane said anxiously, gently reminding him, ”Water can carry a boat, but it can also overturn it. You can’t treat your fans like that; they actually like you.”

Anton Miller’s gaze shifted slightly; he looked at her, his throat moved slightly, ”But I won’t allow anyone to hurt you, and I never planned to stick around in this industry.”

As he finished speaking, he glanced at Justin Kingston, then turned and left.

There was as much arrogance in his demeanor as there was fearlessness.

Watching that retreating figure, Justin Kingston understood.

Anton Miller only entered the entertainment industry to spite him; since there was no opposition from him, there was no point in staying in the industry?

Mia Lane felt it was a pity, he could become a hot top star with just a single unreleased drama.

Isn’t that what you’d call a gift from heaven?

”Let’s go.” Justin Kingston put his arm around her shoulders, ”That’s just his personality, don’t mind him.” He led her into the Lamborghini.

Mary also got in the car, and it drove towards Clearwater Bay.

Mia Lane looked at the fleeting scenery outside the window, then came back to her senses and spoke softly, ”Let’s go to the mall first, I don’t want to go back empty-handed.”

The word ”back” warmed Justin Kingston’s heart.

The bit of concern he had for Anton Miller was thus relieved.

”Alright.” He told the driver, ”Old Chapman, go to the mall first.”

”Okay, Mr. Kingston, Ma’am.”

Clearwater Bay.

The entire yard seemed cloaked in a thin layer of gold, shining brightly under the setting sun.

The tragic and beautiful sunset made the evening glow intoxicating... the horizon was filled with flaming clouds.

In the kitchen, there was a scene of orderly bustling.

The butler carried a large tray up the stairs, on it were two bowls of rice, dishes the children liked, and a delicately arranged fruit platter.

Dolly and Gigi hid in a room upstairs playing chess, sitting quietly and well-behaved, the siblings playing against each other.

”Young Master, Miss, have dinner first.” The butler gently placed the tray on the table upon entering, ”Go wash your hands.”

Gigi asked, ”When is my daddy coming? Is he coming or not?”

”Of course, he is, dinner is almost ready,” the butler said, ”We don’t know when they will leave, so Madam asked you to eat something first so you don’t go hungry.”

”Okay!” Dolly quickly got up to wash her hands.

Gigi also stood up afterward, ”Dinner time! Finally, we can have Grandma’s dishes!”

The children came out after washing their hands and sat quietly at the table to eat.

The butler stood by, keeping watch, advising, ”Make sure not to go out, and lock the door properly.”

”Yes, yes! Got it!”

”Don’t worry, Grandpa Butler, please make sure Grandma keeps it a secret! I’m afraid Mia Lane will get angry.”

The butler’s eyes were filled with amusement; Madam would never spill the beans.

These two little ones are so adorable, with such high looks, and each of them so clever and daring.
