Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 416: Chapter 416: An Especially Arrogant Man

The director and producer sat down on the sofa opposite him.

The producer spoke up as well, ”Anton, if this continues to escalate, I’m afraid it will affect the normal release of this series.” He wanted to ask if there was anything Anton could do.

”I’m done filming, the rest isn’t my concern,” Anton Miller replied casually. It was clear that he didn’t care at all about the online rumors, ”He wants to make a comeback, doesn’t he? I’d like to see what he’s capable of.”

”So, are you the one who leaked those scandals about Elias Colton?” The director’s heart skipped a beat.

”Those are things he did himself, I just helped bring them online,” Anton Miller smirked.

”...” The director and producer exchanged glances.

After a while, the director reminded him, ”Anton, Elias Colton isn’t someone to be trifled with. He’s unpredictable by nature and can do anything. You better be careful of him.”

”Thanks for the concern, but I’m not easy to deal with either,” Anton Miller was now free, and had time to play along.

The director and producer didn’t know what else to say. They just hoped the storm would pass quickly and not affect the series’ release.

In a large house with black and gray tones, the hall spanned several hundred square meters. Even the lighting was cold-toned, giving an inexplicable eerie feeling. Being in there for too long would send chills down one’s spine.

In front of a long gray table—

A man dressed in black with a black cap was slouched in the chair, sporting a nose ring, his eyes sharp and cold.

Displayed on the laptop screen on the table was a picture of Anton Miller.

The man’s bony fingers tapped lightly on the cold tabletop, his gaze as if intending to tear Anton Miller apart.

On his left and right stood five subordinates each, obediently at his command.

This man was Elias Colton.

The room was exceptionally quiet, the air seemingly frozen, filled with an atmosphere of murderous intent!

”Get rid of him for me,” Elias Colton spoke, frowning slightly, ”Trying to steal the title of ’Anton’? He’s courting death!”

”Boss...” someone voiced concern.

”What are you afraid of?” Elias Colton had already thought it through and made plans, ”The police are useless and can’t catch me. I’ve investigated, this kid is an orphan; he has no backing. If he’s dead, he’s dead; throw him into the river to feed the fish.”

”Shouldn’t we just give him a warning?” another person advised, ”After all, killing someone is still illegal.”

”Heh,” his tone was arrogant, ”Am I afraid of breaking the law?”

”...” No one dared to make a sound.

Elias Colton picked up a bottle of wine beside him and took a swig, ”If he can find out that I’m messing with him, yet hasn’t come to admit fault or give in, why should I let him go?”

Silence...

Elias Colton heavily set the bottle down, with a cold smile, ”Within 24 hours, I want him dead!”

”Yes!”

”You all plan it out, see where would be the best place to corner him.” Elias Colton was getting eager, ”I’ll go too; I want to end him myself!”

”Yes.”

Then they began to formulate the plan to assassinate Anton Miller.

Judging by their calmness and cold-blooded nature, they surely had more than a few lives on their hands.

Clearwater Bay.

The weather was nice today, and the children couldn’t play in the yard, fearing their dad and mom might suddenly show up.

The rooftop of the mansion had already been cleaned up nicely.

Kristina Kingston was playing chess with Dolly, with Gigi acting as the little referee on the side.

”Grandma, you made the wrong move, how long has it been since you last played chess?” Gigi asked.

Kristina Kingston leaned in for a closer look, ”Oh, oh, Grandma made a mistake!” Then she reached out to take it back.

”No, no!” Dolly reminded her, ”Once the piece is down, it counts! Grandma, you can’t take it back!”

Kristina Kingston smiled and looked at the referee, ”Is that right, Gigi?”

”Yes, Grandma,” Gigi laughed and reminded, ”You must be more careful with your next move, or else you’ll lose!”

”Alright, alright, Grandma’s old, my eyes aren’t what they used to be!”

With a smile on her lips, the fine lines at the corners of Kristina Kingston’s eyes revealed her age.

The butler who accompanied them noticed that when she was with the children, her entire demeanor relaxed, and her smile was the most genuine.
