Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 429: Chapter 429: Childish or Not?

Nanny glanced in the direction he pointed, ”Alright.” She quickly walked to the foot of the bed.

At this moment, Mia Lane had already helped him take off one shoe, ”Mrs. Kingston, shall I do it?” Nanny cautiously handled the other shoe.

Mia Lane stood awkwardly to the side, pursing her lips.

”Nanny, don’t leave,” Justin Kingston said to her, ”Stay here and take care of him; he has a lot going on.”

A lot going on?!

Anton Miller’s head buzzed unhappily.

”Yes, Mr. Kingston.” Nanny quickly responded, then looked at the man lying before her, ”Young Master Anton, do you need anything else?”

”Who said I have a lot going on?” Anton Miller said childishly, ”You can leave.”

Without Mr. Kingston’s orders, how could Nanny dare to move?

Justin Kingston’s gaze fell on Mia Lane, speaking warmly, ”Honey, come here.”

Mia Lane snapped back to reality and walked over, sitting down at the bedside.

Pulling her hand, Justin Kingston’s eyes were full of affection, ”I want to sleep for a while, will you stay with me?”

”Yes, sleep then.” Facing his gaze, Mia Lane thought to herself— How juvenile!

Anton Miller felt strange, but had no reason to chase Nanny away, so he let her stay.

After a while.

Ian Shelby announced the examination results, ”Three fractures, need to be cast, better to rest in bed as much as possible; it’s not light, but not too serious either.”

Anton Miller felt as if his wings were broken, unable to fly, very agitated!

Justin Kingston thought he truly wasn’t reassuring, inwardly resenting him.

Mia Lane needed to find a way to reconcile their conflict, since this was a good opportunity.

Ian Shelby treated Anton Miller’s wounds.

In the living room, Mia Lane took out her phone to call Finn Morgan, ”Finn, there’s been a small incident on Justin Kingston’s side, needs to stay at Ian Shelby’s for a while, things at the company will have to trouble you.”

”Small incident?” Hearing Ian Shelby’s name, Finn Morgan felt uneasy, ”What’s going on? What happened to him?”

”It’s nothing, just a minor incident.” Mia Lane didn’t want to elaborate, not wanting to blow things out of proportion.

Finn Morgan wasn’t reassured, ”I’m coming over immediately.” He said and hung up.

”Hello? Hello!” Mia Lane sighed lightly holding the phone.

Nighttime.

Mary finally drove the Lamborghini back to Emerald Cove.

She had her driver’s license for five or six years, but only drove at 40 mph, afraid to rear-end such an expensive car, her palms sweaty on the steering wheel.

Sister Zhou and Butler Shelby saw the car parked but no one was getting out.

The two exchanged puzzled looks and headed outside simultaneously.

As they approached, Mary gradually snapped out of her daze, undoing her seatbelt, she took two bouquets of lilies from the passenger seat and opened the car door.

”Mary??”

Seeing her come out of the driver’s seat, Sister Zhou and Butler Shelby were utterly surprised.

Moreover, there was no one else in the car.

”Where are Mr. and Mrs. Kingston?” Sister Zhou asked, puzzled.

Mary got out of the car with the lilies, her face inevitably pale, ”Mr. Kingston... he helped Young Master Anton in a fight, got slashed on the back, and now he’s gone to Dr. Shelby.”

Upon hearing this news, Sister Zhou and Butler Shelby’s hearts skipped a beat, almost scaring them half to death!

Their eyes widened, unable to speak a word!

Mary was frightened too, recalling the intense fight scene made her heart tremble uncontrollably.

”Keep it from Mrs. Kingston!” Butler Shelby said, ”This must be kept from her to avoid her worrying!”

At this moment, the landline in the living room rang.

The three quickly ran towards the living room!
