Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 241: Chapter 241: Anton Miller Doesn’t Like Her

”Why?” The director was very much looking forward to his attendance.

The staff asked gossipy, ”Is the one at home unable to wait? You could bring her along!” He happened to overhear him on the phone just now.

Anton Miller looked at him and answered earnestly, ”My woman is not allowed to show herself, afraid that you all might think of her.” As the words fell, a hint of smile appeared at the corner of his eyes, enchanting everyone.

Then he walked toward the photographer and stood at his designated spot.

The camera focused on him.

The director called out ”Action.” He turned his gaze and saw a figure that resembled Amy, his brow furrowing slightly, and walked a few steps forward, grabbing Sean Dalton’s arm, ”Amy!”

With a gentle pull, the girl gracefully spun around, her smooth hair brushing past him, meeting his deep black eyes.

Anton Miller drew her waist in and kissed her lips.

Sean Dalton felt herself sink into his embrace, instantly feeling as if the world was spinning.

A week ago, when she first saw this script, she was full of anticipation for this scene, finally awaiting today.

The feeling... it was like her entire body was electrified, a sensation she had never felt before.

The kiss ended.

Anton Miller released her, grasped her hand excitedly and said, ”It’s really you! Do you know how long I’ve been looking for you? I’m going crazy!”

”...” Sean Dalton’s thoughts were still lingering on that kiss; she had—forgotten her lines!

The two looked at each other, and she was stunned for a few seconds.

Anton Miller’s brows furrowed slightly.

The director was also stunned, what’s going on?

Sean Dalton came back to her senses, apologetically patting his shoulder, ”Sorry, sorry, I forgot my lines, can we do it again?”

Anton Miller was pressed for time, so he wasn’t very happy. As an entertainment industry veteran, he had filmed countless times and still forgot lines?

Having seen countless women, Anton Miller could spot her little tricks at once, and coupled with the fact that he didn’t like Sean Dalton to begin with, he was even more displeased at this moment.

He just looked at her coldly, without responding.

Sean Dalton’s smile froze slightly, and she said, a little embarrassed, ”I didn’t do it on purpose, just now...”

At this moment, the director spoke up, ”Then let’s do it again, make sure you’re in the right state!”

”Okay.” She felt inexplicably guilty.

But Anton Miller remained unmoving, with no expression on his handsome face.

Sean Dalton glanced at the photographer and the lighting technician beside her, finally focusing back on Anton Miller, ”Could you step back a bit? I turn at this position, and you come after me?”

”Kissing scenes aren’t retaken.” He said, directly grasping her hand, ”It’s really you! Do you know how long I’ve been looking for you? I’m going crazy!” He entered the role in a second.

Sean Dalton was momentarily stunned and quickly delivered her lines, ”Carl... I... I have my reasons.”

Anton Miller’s gaze locked on her small face, a hidden smile flashed in his eyes, ”What’s really going on between you and him?”

”I have nothing to do with him at all!”

”Cut!” The director said, ”Good!”

Applause rang out on set, marking the end of today’s shoot.

Everyone had worked hard for a period, finished filming 18 episodes, and got along well together, with high work efficiency, so there’s a small gathering tonight.

Anton Miller casually picked up his coat and left. Looking at his tall and slender back, Sean Dalton frowned slightly, ”...”

”Isn’t Anton Ford going?” the assistant asked, confused.

The director answered, ”He’s not going, let’s get ready to leave, don’t stay up too late partying tonight, there are a few important scenes tomorrow that are the essence of the whole drama.”

If Anton Miller wasn’t going, why would Sean Dalton go?

In her position, even walking the red carpet depended on her mood, did she have time to hang out and chat with these small supporting roles?

There are no real friends in the entertainment industry, everyone is just raising or stepping down.

”Director, I’m not going either.” Sean Dalton picked up the expensive sun-protection jacket she bought and put it on, ”See you tomorrow.”
