Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 204: Chapter 204: Mother and Son Sever Ties

Evening time.

The sun’s afterglow colored the clouds around it, turning from purple to red, from red to orange... romantic and enchanting.

The Lamborghini drove into Emerald Cove against the sunset and happily stopped in front of the modern-style mansion.

Justin Kingston got out of the car holding a cake, his lips slightly curved, and in a good mood, he entered the living room.

”Good evening, Mr. Kingston.” The butler respectfully greeted him.

Justin carried the cake directly upstairs. Watching his figure disappear around the stair corner, Butler Shelby sighed deeply.

”Mia!”

She was not in the master bedroom or the study.

”Mia?”

He searched the second floor again but still couldn’t find her.

Strange, where could she be?

So Justin, carrying the cake, went downstairs, ”Where’s my wife? Is she not home?”

The butler didn’t answer, walked toward him, took the cake from Justin’s hand, and then handed him a letter.

”What’s this?” Justin reached out to take it, glanced at Butler Shelby, and saw his unspoken words, which gave Justin a vague sense of foreboding!

He quickly opened the folded letter!

The butler whispered, ”Madam has left, she wrote this for you.”

In the letter, she said—

”I originally didn’t plan to say goodbye to you, but thought it was not good to leave without saying anything, so I’m telling you: I’m sorry, I can’t accompany you for the rest of your life. Please take good care of Gigi and Dolly, and I wish you happiness.”

Just a few short sentences made Justin’s heart suddenly ache!

”When did this happen?!” His pupils tightened, crushing the letter into a ball, he gritted his teeth and coldly demanded, ”Where did she go?!”

”Right after you left, she also left...” Butler Shelby apologized, ”Madam didn’t allow me to call you, she said you would naturally find out when you returned.”

Something flashed in Justin’s eyes, he ran out of the living room!

Butler Shelby was also quite frightened.

He opened the car door and sat in the Lamborghini’s driver seat, speeding towards Clearwater Bay!

With one hand tightly gripping the steering wheel, he held his phone in the other, dialing Finn Morgan’s number, ”Mia left a letter and is gone. Find her whereabouts! Immediately and right away!”

After hanging up, his fierce eyes seemed about to shoot flames, while a piercing pain churned in his heart!

She left!

He can’t accept it!

A journey of 20 minutes, he drove it in just 5 minutes!

A sharp brake halted him in front of the Clearwater Bay mansion, the wheels almost smoking, and the screeching brakes startled everyone inside the villa.

Kristina Kingston turned her gaze, she saw her son slam the car door and run towards the living room!

”Why did you let her go?!” Justin rushed to his mother’s side, sharply questioning, ”Where did she go?!”

As if facing an enemy.

Mary was scared stiff, holding a tray with a pounding heart, standing dumbfounded not far away.

”I don’t know.” Kristina spoke in a calm tone, sitting on the sofa as steady as a mountain, ”She wanted to leave on her own.”

”So you knew she left?!” Justin clenched his fists tightly, deep resentment flashing in his eyes.

The atmosphere in the entire living room instantly became tense, and Mary didn’t even dare to breathe heavily.

Kristina sat upright and indifferent as always, ”The legs are on her own body, if you don’t know, how would I know?”

His mother’s attitude made Justin very angry!

A glint of ice swept across his eyes as he suppressed his emotions, ”I’ll ask you one last time, where did you send her?” Each word was stressed, as if he could peel a person alive.

”I’ll say this one last time too.” Kristina lifted her gaze, ”I don’t know.”

Mother and son locked eyes, and cracks appeared in Justin’s expression!

Seeing his tightly clenched fists, Mary broke into a cold sweat, her heart leaping to her throat!

Justin slammed a fist on the coffee table!

The sudden loud noise startled Kristina into closing her eyes tightly and her body shuddered heavily!

It also made Mary scream in panic, dropping the tray from her hands!

In an instant, the bone china cups with scalding tea scattered all over the ground, making a crisp shattering sound!

”If I can’t find her, I won’t acknowledge you as my mother anymore!” Justin said angrily and resolutely, then stormed off!
