Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 205: Chapter 205: Can’t Find Her

Listening to the footsteps of someone leaving resolutely, Kristina Kingston’s heart sank to the bottom, a chill running through it.

She only felt a coldness around her, sitting on the sofa for a long time unable to move.

Until his car drove away and the surroundings returned to silence, Kristina slowly opened her eyes, seeing a noticeable crack in the solid sandalwood coffee table.

The bloodstain in the crack stung her eyes and her heart.

”Mr. Kingston is hurt...” Mary’s voice trembled, frightened by the scene.

Mary’s gaze shifted, seeing a layer of mist rise in the lady’s eyes as she stood up and walked toward the stairs...

Finn Morgan had already sent people to check the information at the airport and the stations, also investigating the surveillance along the route from Emerald Cove, conducting a thorough search.

Justin Kingston left Clearwater Bay in a frantic driving manner, which showed how much pain he was in, replaying past scenes in his mind uncontrollably... His ears were filled with her silvery voice.

”I want you to be good to Gigi and Dolly for a lifetime, even if you have other children in the future.”

”So you plan to have a third child?”

”Okay, I promise you.”

”In the future, no matter how many kids we have, I will never neglect Gigi and Dolly. I swear, having owed them for seven years, I will only love them doubly.”

Recalling the trusting smile she wore that day, there was a touch of allure and also some melancholy.

Justin Kingston’s heart ached as if pricked by needles!

Her departure was premeditated; she didn’t leave without a word, she was always saying goodbye, yet he didn’t notice at all... He was such a fool!

Justin tightly gripped the steering wheel, the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor!

He really regretted it!!

He didn’t know how long it had been when he pulled back a shred of sanity, taking out his phone to call Hailey Hale, maybe she knew Mia’s whereabouts, maybe Mia also said goodbye to her, he wouldn’t let go of any hope.

Dialed three times in a row, with no answer.

Finally, the Lamborghini made a sudden stop outside The Hale Family’s home!

Justin unbuckled the seatbelt and got out of the car, suppressing himself as he rang the doorbell.

The one who opened the door was Hailey Hale, who had just come out of the shower, wearing cool pajamas. There was no one else at home; her parents had gone abroad on holiday, and she had given the servants time off.

”...” She was extremely shocked to see Justin outside the door.

When she saw his hand dripping with blood, her heart jolted, her fan-like eyelashes fluttered, ”Did you... get into a fight?”

”Do you know where Mia is?” his voice hoarse, his expression filled with helplessness.

Hailey furrowed her brows, ”Did you guys have a fight? Did you anger her into leaving?” With that, she slammed the door shut!

Justin’s bleeding hand got trapped in the door crack, making him groan.

The girl inside the door was so startled she pulled back her hand, and the door bounced open again...

”What did you do to her?” Hailey asked angrily, ”Was it you who drove her away?”

Leaning against the doorframe, his hand dripping blood, Justin raised his eyes to look at her, patiently asking, ”Do you know where she went?”

He resembled a relentless, emotionless machine; this Justin felt strange and terrifying.

Hailey quickly took out her phone to dial Mia Lane’s number, only to hear the deactivation prompt, the number no longer existed?

Her chest tightened abruptly as she realized the seriousness of the situation, her face instantly chilling as she questioned, ”What happened exactly?”

When Justin heard that the number didn’t exist, his heart sank halfway.

”I’m sorry, I disturbed you.” Justin’s gaze was vacant, like an exhausted person, intending to turn and leave.

”What about Gigi and Dolly?” Hailey grabbed his arm, stopping him in his tracks, ”Did she take the children as well?”

Justin was startled, turning his gaze to meet hers, ”No.”

She breathed a sigh of relief, ”Then she will come back!”

”Will she?” Amidst his confusion, he saw a glimmer of hope again.

”She will.” The girl said firmly, ”What mother would cruelly leave her own children?”
